This beautifully decorated home with its spectacular views is unlike any other in Big Bear Lake. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac on Inspiration Point at the far reaches of Boulder Bay, the views are breathtaking from every direction. Expect an 'over the top' experience when staying in this home. The unique living space offers a cozy and comfortable cabin feeling. The beautiful full round hand peeled logs, the hardwood floors, granite counter tops and comfortable furniture boasts a true mountain home experience. The outdoor patio with fireplace is where you will probably spend much of your time enjoying the view and relaxing as you listen to the mountain sounds next to a crackling fire. The lower patio is a perfect place to relax in an Adirondack chair with your feet up as you watch the 'Pirate Ship' or 'Big Bear Queen' tour boats go by -- have your camera ready! If you are a sun worshiper, you'll enjoy the 3rd patio lakeside, or better yet, go ahead and walk out onto the dock to be even closer to all of the lake action -- fishing, boating, boarding, tubing, kayaking and swimming. We had an amazing experience staying here due to the prime location and home amenities. Our kids have never fished before and loved fishing every morning and afternoon right off the dock. They all caught fish and had the time of their life. Sitting on the dock at sunset and relaxing with a glass of wine and 3 kids under 9 years old fishing was perfect. Our kids jumped off the dock in front of the home all day, every day...and when it was slightly cold, they just ran up into the hot tub. We planned many daytime activities but ate pretty much every meal at the house. The kitchen and grill were more than expected. They have everything you would need for family dinners and the nook right outside the kitchen was a special place for dinner. We could enjoy the calm of the lake while eating dinner outside. The outdoor fireplace added extra ambience. Every night we roasted smores at the fire pit while enjoying a cocktail. The kids reminisced about their day while we wound down as a family. It was an amazing experience.

We had a marvelous stay at this beautiful, well appointed home. My teenage boys loved fishing off the dock and playing pool and I loved the marvelous views and gorgeous property. We will definitely be back.

This was our first trip to Big Bear Lake and couldn’t have been more impressed with the “Grand” property and all it has to offer. We had two families staying, kids ages 13-17. Enjoyed the hot tub with amazing views, the convenience of the private dock which we used to have chartered boat activities and relaxed out on every day. We thought ahead and brought a few good travel chairs and heavy duty poolside umbrella with weighted stand to have out on the dock to provide shade, it worked out perfectly and highly recommend. It can get a bit rocky with wake turbulence and some wind, but the umbrella held up well and never moved or fell over. Overall the house is extremely spacious with gorgeous views of the lake throughout. The covered patio just off the kitchen was the adults favorite spot for meals and conversing. We all can’t wait to go back!

Great get a way from Arizona heat. This house has all the amenities and provides a nice confortable living condition. Great fire pit, nice hot tub for evening relaxing. The township has alot of enforceable rules in terms of quite hours and garbage disposal that must be strictly followed. If you are one that follows rules, then you should have no problem booking this special cabin in the hills.

Coming here, to this rental house, has become a tradition. The best dock to fish from. Our catch was 81 trout. As always, the house is great, so clean and comfortable; our host is very attentive, and the check-in personnel are always helpful and courteous. This house has everything. Fabulous location and magical sunsets. We truly enjoyed all things at “The Grand.” While the check in process in Big Bear is a bit different and cumbersome, the host makes this process as painless as possible with great communication from the very beginning. Barb was thorough and did everything to ensure our stay was great. The house is truly magnificent and there is so much pride that went into the build on this property. When my guest stated,”this place looks like Disneyland with the attention to detail” you know this property is unlike no other. The views from every window, patio, and balcony are stunning.

Not our first stay; property is gorgeous and comfortable; nice to have a couple of places to hang, like downstairs. Nothing, NOTHING can beat the location of this dock for fishing. One year caught a tournament winner; this year, caught FIFTY-FIVE fish from the dock in six day with six licenses. Lake Patrol always are seen and are great. We had a relaxing time and a ball at the same time!

This place was a perfect house for our family while in Big Bear. The cabin was beautiful, clean and tidy and made us feel right at home. It is super peaceful, as well as incredibly spacious with lots of room and places to relax. You couldn't ask for anything better! Check in process was smooth and location on the lake was perfect. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for an amazing Big Bear getaway.

We stayed at Barb’s property with the whole family (5 adults and 2 teens 14 and 16) and it was awesome. The place was just like the pictures and location was amazing. Close to many little stores and also a quick drive to the big stores in downtown. The house setup is perfect for a big group as it is well spread yet very cozy. The downstairs with pool table, ping-pong and a nice rounded table by the bar area where we had the whole family playing UNO most nights. Really fun and exciting to be able to take the kids out of their phones lol (wifi speed was pretty reliable tho). The TV in the downstair with 2 large Sofas was perfect for movie time. The jacuzzi was nice with an spectacular view of the lake and very private. We went Skiing at the Big Bear Mountain Resort and it was a very easy and quick drive there. The whole family loved the place and we’re definitely planning to rent it again. It is definitely worth checking out.

Our family of 8 absolutely enjoyed the home in Big Bear. There was a little issue with parking a trailer in the driveway but John helped us out and found us a spot. Yay John! The house has everything you can imagine. We boated, jacuzzied, played pool, bbq'd, Happy hours on the patio and even the 3 year old got to watch his favorite shows on the Disney channel. Plenty of space for everyone.

The pictures on line are gorgeous but it is even more amazing when you arrive. We had 10 family members and everyone loved every moment. Our 2 1/2 grandson cried on the way home saying he wanted to go back to the Lake House. The dock was so convenient for our kayaks, paddleboards and raft. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables. The views can't be beat. Hope to come again soon.

This is definitely an upscale lakefront property. The lake frontage is long as it is on a peninsula. Great views of the lake. The lake was busy due to the holiday weekend. Using our standup paddleboards was challenging due to the boat wakes and wind generated waves. The house is beautiful and well kept. The grandkids (and us adults) enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and ping pong.

We had an absolute blast staying at "The Grand" with our friends and family. The house is located on a sizeable property with amazing views of Big Bear Lake and Boulder Bay. The house layout was great for our 2 families of 4 (4 of whom are under 4) with ample space to stretch out and relax. Nearly every room has a lake view, which was a pleasure to wake up to every morning! We really enjoyed staying here in the winter, and can't wait to come back in the summer as well!

We stayed at "The Grand" on Big Bear Lake for a week. That wasn't long enough. It was a spacious, comfortable, and fun home to stay in. There are plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms for families, as well as a big, game room-bar-poker table room downstairs for hours of enjoyment. There are views out every room in the house. We loved our stay here and would visit again. We would recommend this home to our friends and family. The owner Barb, and property manager, Emilia were very attentive and kind. Stay in this house, and you will not leave disappointed.
