Location: Grand Lake St. Mary's, Ohio, Celina, USA, (60 Miles from Dayton, Ohio 90 Miles from Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio) Reservations now accepted for the 2023 season that started March 1, 2023.

Accommodations: Lake house sleeps up to 6 comfortably with two bedrooms and a pullout.

Beautiful lake front view from deck within 5 feet of the water. A rare 16 foot fishing dock that extends into the lake. Great for fishing, sunbathing, taking in the view, and daytime boat docking. Dock is removed for the winter each year from November 1 to March 1. (Now in)

Relax on the large, comfortable deck with homemade coffee in the morning and with a grilled steak and a drink in the evening.

Rest in the comfortable beds with clean linen that is furnished. For weekly guests the washer and dryer are great.

The cottage is bright, comfortable, fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area down to the matching set of dishes, with newer appliances including a coffee pot, toaster, microwave and a flat top range plus full size fridge plus dishes, cookware and dinnerware..

There is a TV-DVD player with DVDs available. There is also a supply of books for your reading enjoyment.

It was a fantastic stay for families .. we loved the fishing access and ability to be unplugged ! We enjoyed the cool park nearby with splash park and zip lines . Great fun for all ages !

It’s nothing fancy but we enjoyed it!! The ad mentioned a hot tub but there wasn’t one. No big deal and says it sleeps 6 but appears to only have beds for 5, one twin, one double and one queen. If you’re wanting to view the fireworks for the 4th. Not an ideal spot lol but still very nice and comfy. There’s a charcoal grill and small fire pit. Be aware that the only bathroom is inside the master bedroom. It was fine for us. But just an fyi. Same with the beds. The ac is window ac. We were close to town and the lake view is phenomenal! If you’re wanting peace and quiet and a great view, this is a very nice place.

Property was well equipped except for a tiny TV and total lack of internet connection. Admittedly we expected to spend lots of time outdoors, but still need internet! Also, owner requires you to wash whatever towels and washcloths used!

Loved the quaint cottage and amazing view. It was a very peaceful and relaxing mini getaway. Everything was accurately described in the listing and the fully stocked kitchen was very nice. Thank you for your excellent service as I would definitely rate it as a five-star experience.

Went with our family,, me, my wife and our 2 kids. It's right on the water so if you have young ones just stay alert at all times. But if you do have kids there are some really amazing parks in Celina. My wife and I were blown away with how nice they were. Also if you're fishing we had a ton of success on night crawlers. Would definitely book this place again!!

The cottage was very comfortable. The view and location on the lake was great. A bald eagle visited daily along with herons and geese. The deck offers great seating and a beautiful view. Cottage was very clean and had everything you need. Will stay again.

Stayed at the lake house for the holiday weekend - it was really great. Just as advertised. It was lovely sitting outside and watching the water and the birds. We saw a bald eagle!

We came from Florida and Alabama to be in the line of totality for the 2024 eclipse. Based on the reviews/comments, I expected a cozy, well-loved home on the lake; we definitely found this to be true. The lake view through the windows is magnetic, and the inside and outside were clean and comfortable…home-y. The owners had made sure we understood how things worked and where things were, through handy notes and instructions. We had brought supplies we thought we’d need, but nothing was really necessary except ourselves and our personal effects. The kitchen is snug, but well-equipped if you prefer to cook (grocery stores are nearby); and there are local menus and recommendations if you don’t. We grew up in this area, and The Lake House really felt like home. Thank you, Mr Al and Ms Cathy.

A quaint retro lake cottage with old fashioned charm. Warming and welcoming..the greatest view of the lake. This place is good for anyone wanting to enjoy a lakeview and to destress from daily life. Worth your time. No frills, just basic lakelife serenity. I absolutely love this hidden gem for a vacation retreat. You absolutely feel like the water is at your door.

It's a great place on the water, really quiet neighborhood, and well stocked kitchen, BUT be aware it's an older home as seen from the photos. The floor slopes downward in back bedroom, mattresses are all old, you have to go through a bedroom to get to the bathroom, and dock feels unstable when walking on it. They did set up the firepit so it was ready for use, provide lots of local restaurant menus, and a map of lake for reference.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is perfect and peaceful. Great fenced in back yard area to sit, cook, eat and relax. All while allowing our dog to roam around. The neighborhood is very quiet and the lake is great! You can’t go wrong here and we will certainly stay again. Thank you for everything! We truly appreciate it.

We had the most relaxing time at this place. The outdoor activities for my 4 year old granddaughter were great. All the restaurants were good. We have already booked again if that tells you something. One of my favorite trips and I have been all over the country.

A great stay, in a great location. This house had everything that we needed, and they even decorated for the holidays. It was a fine place to stay, and it was phenomenal waking up to the view of the frozen lake. Would definitely stay again!

Second stay - will be back! Very Clean, Comfortable and Quiet! Right on the lake - you can just relax! Close to stores and excellent restaurants. A great way to celebrate a family event. Very easy to check-in and check-out. Owner/manager is very responsive. Looking forward to our next visit!

This property was just what we needed to get away and "reset". We relaxed by biking, kayaking, and hiking. We enjoyed the dog park with our dog and ate at the Boardwalk Grill. One bonus was that if you dog is not inclined to jump in the water, the small yard is fenced to the water. Thanks for a great weekend, Al and Cathy!

We really appreciated the map and all of the restaurant menus, brochures, etc that were left for us. That was a big help for us having a fantastic stay. The beds are comfy, and there was plenty of water pressure in the shower (although if you’re tall, you will need to duck). This is an older cottage, and fit our need for some nostalgia while being the perfect size and location for our 19 yr old college student and 13 yr old middle schooler to be together for Fall break. Being able to bring our dog went a long way to beating some homesickness for our college kiddo. We didn’t use the oven (a nice weekend for mom not having to cook) but all looked to be in working order. Would stay here again.

The place was sweet, neighbors were so nice too. Owner responsive when we left early and locked our cell phone in the house. Would have enjoyed gas grill vs charcoal but that's what I'm used to using.
