This premium 331 sq ft studio condo is located in the historic and elegantly restored Bab's building. The charismatic Babs, built in 1905, will take you to the soul of the Missoula community in a heartbeat. Centrally located on Missoula's vibrant Hip Strip, the Babs is surrounded by the city's best restaurants and bakeries. Everything is just a walk away.
The luxury studio condo has been completely remodeled and thoughtfully designed for a very slick, contemporary, but homey 'Industrial feel' and is ideal for out of town visitors looking to explore Missoula and the surrounding area. Completely new, natural and clean interior materials and a big egress window bring lots of natural light to the space. New appliances and other new amenities are complimented by the original sheet rock and brick walls reminding visitors of the old times. The condo comes with a spacious private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with solid beech wood counter tops, and a comfortable queen-sized bed. The condo compliments also high speed wireless internet, HD flat screen TV and three person couch, which folds down into a two person sofa sleeper.
Along with this clean, comfortable and secure condo come the additional onsite features for relaxation and entertainment:
- An entirely renovated, communal basement lounge including an official sized pool table, a big screen Cable TV and comfortable seating. Also an icebox, sink, toilet, and washer and dryer are easily accessible.
- A classic, fenced garden with a large communal patio including chairs, tables, benches and a propane Viking grill.
Kindly note: Families with kids welcome! Available for guest use are: a pack and play crib, a high chair, an umbrella stroller, some boos and toys.
The luxury condo is in the basement. The washer and dryer and the communal lounge are located in the basement as well. The condo's ceiling is well insulated from sound and you wouldn't be sharing next door walls with any other condos in the building.

Property was very nice. Stayed cool enough even without a/c during a very hot stretch of weather. Parking at times was a challenge but was able to make do.

Fantastic condo in a beautiful building, my room was directly across the hall from the community space and I was able to prepare and share Thanksgiving with my daughter and her friends while she is out at UM. We had 7 folks over hanging out from campus 3-4 nights a week utilizing the community space! I brought my own turkey roaster but the space was completely furnished with everything we would need!!

This studio space was quite lovely and spaced out well for the size. Fully recommend staying!!
Pros - good location, plenty of parking, great restaurants to walk to, dog friendly, full kitchen, and washers.
Cons - heard anyone in the stairwell or lounge, shower likes to flood the bathroom if you're not careful, wish it had more cookware.

This condo was a perfect spot to stay while I was in town to visit my Dad. Everything was an easy walk away. The condo was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would gladly come back.

Very cozy!
We enjoyed our stay in the studio down stairs. Very clean and comfortable. Great location for coffee and meals. Short walk to the river and downtown. To the University is a nice walk also. Access in/out the back door was good. One suggestion would be a stool for the bed. We will be back!

Great location
The best part to this property is the location. It is close to everything. It is small, but has everything you need. The only thing I would recommend the owner to change is the futon. It is not a comfortable place to sit, nor sleep.

Just What the Doctor Ordered
My husband, our weiner dog, and I were coming off a camping trip down in Yellowstone, and very much appreciated the quiet and cozy and warm nature of this property. And the hot shower with amazing water pressure. And the coffee maker. And the walking distance to anything we really wanted. It was perfect.

Great location!
Great little studio - especially loved the lounge across the hall. Only drawback was the noise during the night from upstairs - you can hear every step and someone was walking around nonstop until about 2 am.

Clean and great location!
Nice little studio, great communal lounge nearby with a pool table too. My wife and I enjoyed staying here, and the location is really convenient for activities downtown. Will book again someday!

Great Location/Great Stay
I had the opportunity to stay at the Bab's for 6 weeks this summer. The property suited my needs perfectly. The location was fabulous and I walked everywhere. Although I did have a vehicle, I rarely used it. Parking was not an issue. The studio was cozy. It is downstairs and can be dark but this did not bother me. It stayed cool in the summer heat. Noise above (footsteps) can be heard as other reviewers have mentioned but this was not a concern for me at all. I had no problems sleeping. The bed is wonderfully comfortable. The owners are very responsive. I would rent this studio again for sure!

Amazing location, comfortable stay in basement studio unit
The location of The Babs condo could not be more convenient to downtown Missoula. We were able to walk almost everywhere, including across the river to the farmer's market on Saturday morning, and to amazing restaurants right around the corner and/or across the street.
The condo building is a historic structure and there are no elevators. If you like a place with old-timey charm, this can't be beat. However, this unit is in the basement and at the bottom of a very old and somewhat rickety iron staircase (yes, you read that right - iron stairs). This place would not be good for anyone with limited mobility.
The unit itself is clean and comfortable, including a futon that folds down to a full-size bed if you have a guest or kids. The queen size bed is on a frame that is quite high off the ground, which requires a bit of thought to get in and out of. A step stool would have helped, and again it would not work for anyone who was dealing with physical limitations. (Once we got up there, lol, the mattress was thick and plush and very comfy.)
If you are able-bodied and looking for a place that has a lot of charm and character, with an A+ location, this unit may be just the place.

Very cozy on the bottom floor studio. Great location and walking distance to so many places. The game room/community room and laundry were so handy too. Enjoyed our time there.

Affordable studio condo
We stayed two nights at this condo while in town for a concert at the Wilma. Perfect location. Parked the car and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go.
Condo is clean and has everything you need. (No pizza cutter, but beer and wine openers.)😉 The bed is comfortable and there is a futon and table to hang out at. This unit is in the basement and you can hear the people above you walking around, but it never kept us up at night. Ceilings in the shower are low, so a tall person might find it slightly uncomfortable. I’m 5’8” and was fine though. It’s a basement condo, what do you expect. If you have a problem with stairs, do not pick this unit. The stairs are steep leading down to it. I could see an older person struggling with this. There is also a pool table/rec room for guest to use, great space to just hangout in and a nice little bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Comfortable bed!
The location of this apartment is ideal for exploring downtown Missoula and the University of Montana. Within walking distance are dozens of restaurants, pubs, bakeries, breweries and coffee shops. Cultural events in theaters and galleries are also just across the Higgins St. bridge or a short walk to the UM campus.
The basement apartment is advertised -- a cozy, warm place that has just enough of the amenities needed for a few days in the city. If you need more space, take advantage of the community room across the hall.
Arriving on a Friday evening, I found parking to be a bit of a challenge and parked two blocks away. By the morning, though, a spot opened up in front of the building. The check-in and check-out process was easy.
I look forward to future stays in the Babs Apartments!

Great location!!!
It was a wonderful location and offered everything I needed for a week while working. I also loved walking the river path every night after work. The hair on the shower curtain and in the shower did put me off a bit. Also I’m not sure the floors are washed between guests??? But otherwise everything else was good!! And the owner was very nice and accommodating!!

Beautiful centrally located studio. Walking distance the the U and downtown.
We loved getting to stay in Babs apartments. This was the perfect central location for us and we loved getting to have our pup join us. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer while visiting as well. Jenni was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The upstairs neighbors were a little noisy early in the morning but other than that it was fabulous. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future Missoula trips.

Amazing location!
Jenni was great and we had no issues at all! Location to everything in downtown was perfect! Others have commented about noise from apartment above, however we didn't hear anything. Plan to stay again next time we come.
