Folding accordion doors opens the living area to the outside where the extra large wrap around deck extends out to the entire north side of the building, which allows you to not only capture the outdoors from the main living area, but also allows tons of sunlight for a bright & airy feel. Continuing the open feel, the kitchen blends seamlessly to the living & dining areas, and comes fully stocked with a full set of kitchenware. The bar area seats 3 & is the perfect place to take in the breathtaking water views. An elegant round table provides dining for 6, looking out at the ocean enjoying the flames by the beautiful indoor/outdoor passthrough fireplace, porcelain flooring that gives a seamless transition to the outdoor patio and glass walls allowing mesmerizing views of the ocean. Rounding out the main living area is the ideal lounge are with two premium leather sofas and a floating daybed, mounted SMART TV, & ceiling speakers for playing your favorite tunes.

• OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
• NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.

Very happy with the location and views. The house was very nice, roomy, and had all the essentials. Unfortunately, the accordion doors didn’t work, gas grill was not working, TV in primary room was not hooked up to WiFi, and toy closet combination did not work. Called after check-in regarding the doors and rep said it was rusted and would not open. Called numerous times regarding gas grill on the second day with no response until I texted. Their response was to drop off a portable grill on the last night of the stay. We already had plans to go out for dinner the last night. Overall we still had a great time.

We enjoyed a great family vacation at Mission Beach Penthouse! We enjoyed the the proximity to the beach, boardwalk, Fun Zone, and many local restaurants and shops. Parking vehicles was the hardest part of our vacation.

The views and location were nothing short of amazing. Just a short walk to Belmont Park and of course the beach is basically your front yard. The glass front windows and deck rail made for open views at almost 180 degrees with a bonus view of the bay from the side deck. My husband and I had 4 teenagers with us and there was enough room for all of us. If I had a negative for our stay I would say there were a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The cleaning people could do a better job with the floors and some extra towels in the kitchen would be great. It might be nice to take a look at the beach supplies as a handful were broken. These were all minor inconveniences and we would certainty stay here again.

Wow gorgeous view beachfront with windows allowing views throughout living room and kitchen . Beautiful balcony with a front row seat to the Pacific Ocean . We watched playful dolphins showing off each day!!

Water and City views that high up are definately a WOW factor as soon as you enter the unit. The place was nicely equipped, all the bedrooms had tv's (which was nice because we all watch different shows!), and everything was nicely cared for. Couldn't ask for a better location. Parking is tight if you have a large vehicle. The place is nice but needs a little TLC. I was a little disappointed not having cable TV, having only internet TV that you had to use apps. The internet was constantly buffering. All in all it was a good vacation.

First of all, it is not easy to find the front door, and the stairs are very narrow and steep. I was entertaining my older 80 years young parents We entered the villa to find out old, dirty sofas which I will not sit on. We found some blankets in the closet and cover them all. No rug on the floor like the picture suggested. Few decor or accessories, very plain. NOT LIKE THE WEBSITE
The cleaning lady had cleaned the unit with a mix of pine soil or chloroform which left a terrible odor. The sliding doors to the balcony were impossible to open. The kitchen cabinets were run down. He stain was peeling. The master bedroom did not look like the photo online. It was very plain, no rug and old stained chairs. We overpaid for this unit as the other comparable unit around us with similar features were $500 less per day. We chose this unit thinking that the pictures will be accurate. It was a huge disappointment. The only reason i did not leave was because of my parents. It would have been too stressful for them to move to another location.

Property manager was mostly responsive but inconsistent and not solution oriented. The first day we reported a “chirping” noise coming from the refrigerator. Over the next 7 days we exchanged a sporadic combination of emails and texts where the manager operated mostly as triage and not focusing on actually resolving the issue. At times I’d go days without hearing from them while the loud chirping drowned out the sounds of the waves - it was miserable. On day 7 the appliance guy helped us move the fridge and found the cricket, but the manager never confirmed or tied off with us. This whole thing was super frustrating.
Maintenance can come and go as they please whether you are there or not, when communication from property manager isn’t great, this feels invasive
Finishing touches - pocket doors in master not aligned and don’t slide smoothly. Glass door in master shower doesn’t align, therefore doesn’t close and bangs into the glass wall.
Master bed could use topper like other beds in second bedroom
Internet not great to the point where the living room tv is mostly unwatchable. It would repeatedly freeze and glitch and need to be restarted
Suggestions
Pay for higher tier internet unless spectrum is just that terrible
Sweat the small stuff, have a contractor touch up the fit of the shower door and pocket doors, this takes away from the potential high end feel
Communicate more directly and effectively and focus on solving the actual problem and confirming with the guest that they’re happy instead of simply triaging

Such a beautiful home! Everything was nicely maintained with a great outdoor deck overlooking the ocean and a super comfortable master bed. We had an issue with the patio doors, the management responded the same day (turned out to be user error!). The checkin was easy, checkout was even easier. We all enjoyed it very much.

5 star stay! My wife, parents, & our 2 children. The unit was very clean, spacious compared to other homes we've rented in Mission Beach, light space with lots of huge windows, had a fantastic deck with views that are a must see, super comfy master bed, tv's in all the bedrooms, nicely maintained, and friendly management that was very responsive. #1 Place was termite infested…hundreds all over floors and walls throughout condo. No broom in closet…had to use towels to clean them up. It was really gross. See pictures and video sent separately.
#2 Dishwasher not working right…water stays at bottom.
#3 No extra T.P., paper towels, or other paper goods were provided. When we got there, each bathroom had a half roll available. No tissues either. Kitchen had a half roll of paper towels.
#4 Only one dish towel was provided in the kitchen.
#5 Floor sagging just outside master bathroom…may be related to item #1 above.
#6 No hot water in master bathtub...only slightly warm. Water smelled musty in second bathroom.
#7 There are stains on furniture in living room and dining chairs.

#9 There is no broom in the unit which makes it impossible to sweep the floors.

We really liked our stay at this property. The view is just outstanding, and the property is set up to maximize your opportunities to take it in. Check-in and check-out were both straightforward, and the location is fantastic for taking advantage of the beach and very good for all other purposes.

We stayed here last year as well. We won’t be looking to stay anywhere else. The sun deck is amazing! Everyone can sit out there and enjoy the sun, ocean breeze and view of the ocean.

Loved the Penthouse
Loved this penthouse! Views are a must see especially from the deck, enjoyed the huge windows to enjoy the view while cooking and watching TV (TVs in all rooms was nice!), the beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, & except for issue with one of the fireplaces (thanks to the Surf Style manager for quickly helping us) our stay was stress free!

The kids would take the provided beach toys out in the morning, run inside at lunch to eat and warm up, then right back out until dinner. Never had to leave the house with easy grocery and takeout delivery. The beds were comfortable and everything you could need was provided in the house. We parked our large SUV in the garage and didn’t drive it until we checked out. Perhaps the best part is opening all the sliding glass in the morning and watching the dolphins swim by. Truly a spectacular location for any age.

Had issues with TV and some outlets not working, also slow draining MBR sink, and no light for bar b queing after dark. We thought early check out and late check in were disappointing. We enjoyed the location, and view but the climb up and down the 30 steps is a deal breaker for us sisters over 70.
