Le Mas des oliviers has 2 very spacious accommodation of around 105m. Each 1/2 villa occupies an entire level of the Mas with private ground floor access. The Mas des Oliviers Haut occupies the entire high level and has 3 bedrooms with wardrobe, including 1 master suite. 2 bathrooms 2 WC and its very large private terrace with a breathtaking sea view. The terrace is partly covered. The Mas des Oliviers haut is perfectly equipped: high-end bedding, linen classified as 5 * tourist accommodation.
The construction is in Provencal style with the use of old materials and cut stones from the land.
Le Mas des Oliviers is part of the Mas d'Azur property which comprises 3 apartments: 2 each occupying an entire level of the Mas des Oliviers and one in the Mas Garrigue.
The magnificent swimming pool of 14m x 4m to share (with the Mas Garrigue and the mas of the olive trees garden level), inscribed in a stone restanque and is on the same level as the apartment high level of the olive trees. It faces due south. The farmhouse is rented in full (12 people max) to accommodate 2 families but you can also rent only one level of villa.

Our family of 6 had a great time staying at Marc and Françoise's beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning view, the well equipped home and the grounds. Our hosts were very helpful, friendly and kind. Right before our departure, we couldn't drive our car because we left the lights on overnight... Marc quickly found a jumper cable for us, we are very grateful for his help. We were able to make it on time to the airport. We highly recommend Marc's place for a great vacation. We experienced 2 wonderful weeks in this beautiful location. The house offers everything you need. It is very clean, well equipped and has enough space for a family. The view from the terrace is something to be remembered forever. The pool is fantastic and very well taken care of. Vence is a beautiful city that offers everything you need. The way to the house is indeed very steep, but after a few times you get used to it. We can highly recommend this location and will for sure come back.

Our host, Marc, could not have been more helpful. We stayed here about one week. The unit was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. While we would note that the en-suite master comes w a modest caveat in that the bedroom does have an attached room w sink and shower but the toilet is a actually across the hall. With that said, the premises were very pleasant and the view from the expansive terrace was outstanding. While the drive up to the unit was initially a bit challenging, we quickly appreciated that it became easier w each passage and we were always rewarded w more time at these lovely accommodations. Plenty to do and see in the immediate area… in sum, we enjoyed our stay.

The House is very nice and well kept.
We have never had such a good view of the riviera from our terrace.
For sightseeing, we highly recommend the medieval town of Tourette-sur-Loup (Wednesday market!).
We also found a nice bakery: "Le fournil vencois".
The house is also great for sports-activities:
Pool size is big: 12,5 x 4 m.
Hiking can be done directly from the house to the nearest mountain "Baou des Blancs" with another stunning view.
The house is located approx. 550 m above sea level, Vence-centre (and most bakeries) is at around 300 m.
If you want to bike up to the house, you might need a mountain bike, since a road bike might not make the steep road.
Cycling-Famous "Col-de-Vence" is just around the corner.
At the "Plage du Loup" (25 minutes drive), dogs are tolerated, meaning there are many and police did not complain :-)

Perfect spot for family vacation
Marc was a fantastic host in his spacious apartment. The pictures don’t do it justice. Beds are comfortable, everything is immaculate and well stocked, the views are stunning. We used Vence as a jumping off point for day trips to Nice, Cannes, Villefranche-Sur-Mer, and Menton, all within easy driving distance, but also enjoyed time relaxing on the porch, by the pool, and playing with goats. We highly recommend Marc and his house.

Der Anfahrts-Weg ist steil und schmal. Aber wenn man oben angekommen ist, erlebt man einen uberwältigenden Blick auf die Cote d´Azur. Die Ausstattung kann man nur als sehr gut und komplett bezeichnen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter Marc ist sehr zuvorkommen und nett. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Oase der Ruhe in den Hügeln von Vence
Marc und Francoise sind tolle und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Aussicht von dem oberen Appartement ist großartig. Hier gibt es zwar nicht viel Schatten aber man kann Sonnenschirme von den Gastgebern bekommen. Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen verbracht.

Sehr netter Vermieter. Alles hat super geklappt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, inkl. Waschmaschine und Trockner. Klimaanlage gibt es nicht, aber Ventilatoren für jedes Zimmer. Die Zufahrt ist etwas eng zu passieren. Aber das wird mit der herrlichen Lage belohnt.

Die Bilder lügen nicht: eine sehr gut ausgestattete FeWo in traumhafter Lage mit tollem Blick auf das Mittelmeer.
Den Pool teilt man sich mit zwei anderen Parteien, was bei uns gar kein Problem war. Wir waren ohnehin nur zum Schwimmen dort und haben ansonsten unsere riesige, wunderbare Terrasse genutzt.
Marc und Francoise sind sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Gastgeber, die gerne mit Tipps für Unternehmungen weiterhelfen.
Der Weg zum Haus ist in der Tat schmal und steil, aber mit jedem Fahrzeug schaffbar. Nach einigen Malen hat man sich daran gewöhnt, zumal nur selten Gegenverkehr ist.

Amazing place with great views and wonderful hosts.
Marc and Francoise were wonderful hosts who met us upon arrival to show us around the house and let us ask any questions about the area. The place is immaculate with three great bedrooms and a huge kitchen. The outdoor space is amazing with unbeatable views of the coast. We spent every morning and evening gazing out from the comfy chairs and recliners on the deck. It was unfortunately not quite warm enough for us to use the pool, but it looks fabulous! There is also a sweet kitty wandering around as well as some goats which add to the lovely ambiance of french hillside living. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the area but wanting to escape to peace and quiet at night away from the crowds. Thanks so much!

Home Away from Home!!
After 10 glorious days in the Upper Apartment of Mas des Oliviers we wish we were back there!! Owners, Marc and Francoise, are a delightful couple and met us with us a warm and friendly welcome ... They were available at all times if we had any queries or problems.
Having just arrived after a long flight from Australia we found the twisting narrow road uphill from Vence to be rather challenging but on arrival were able to relax and unwind in this tranquil setting. The panoramic view from our terrace was stunning and the house spacious clean and comfortable with every amenity.
We shopped locally and sampled the delicious regional food in Vence restaurants and nearby hilltop towns. There is so much to explore and discover In the surrounding areas, visit the markets and absorb the history and art of the region.
Hopefully, we can return one day for a longer stay.

Lovely, relaxing and comfortable Stay!
Our family stayed in this spacious, tidy villa for a week. Everything was perfect. The pool, the balcony with views out to the sea and over the villages, the scent of lavender and Cyprus! The hosts were lovely and very helpful! Renting the upper and lower units with friends would be so much fun! I highly recommend this rental and will return one day!

My Family really enjoyed our stay at Mas Olivier. The owners were friendly and helpful . The property is fantastic, a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the stunning views over the countryside towards the sea. The property is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. There is plenty of information available if you want to explore the region. The pool is a wonderful addition and is well maintained . Wi-Fi was good and very useful. Negatives? Not much, there wasn't much to watch on the TV, but we never really had time to watch anything ! The access to the property from the main road takes a bit of getting used to because it's very steep and winding but after a few journeys you are OK ! I can give this property a very hearty recommendation and would book it again if I was ever in this region. Marc & Françoise, thank you for your wonderful hospitality !

Wir waren mit unserer fünfköpfigen Familie 2 Wochen in dem Appartment und können diese uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es beginnt mit dem sehr netten Kontakt zu den Vermietern, die sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend sind, Sie wohnen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Gleichzeitig aber überhaupt nicht aufdringlich, dies ist sehr wohltuend. Die traumhafte Lage, die sehr großzügigen Räumlichkeiten, der sehr gute Zustand (entspricht exakt den Fotos) und die Ausstattung der Wohnung sowie der schöne Garten und der Pool rechtfertigen auf jeden Fall den Preis. Zu der von in den anderen Kommentaren mehrfach beschriebenen Anfahrt: ja, es ist steil und stellenweise eng, aber unterm Strich selbst mit unserer Mercedes V-Klasse kein wirkliches Problem oder gar Hindernis, dort zu buchen. Ein echtes Refugium in wunderbarer Natur, klare Empfehlung.

Man sollte nicht im Dunkeln ankommen, dann ist die Auffahrt zum Haus schwierig. Echt schwierig! Sonst schöne geräumige Ferienwohnung, schön und vollständig eingerichtet. Sogar für kurzes Schwimmen war der Pool nicht zu kalt und das Ende Oktober! Wir werden noch mal wieder kommen zu den netten und zurückhaltenden Vermietern! 👍
