Clean,an enjoyable experience! Lovely neighborhood with inviting bars and restaurants. Easy to navigate and close to everything. Bus and rail very accessible and affordable. We would book again. The combination of the 2 apartments was family friendly. We had a great time.

The Bucktown House was a great property for my party of 8 adults - we reserved both apartments and enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans. The neighborhood is gorgeous and very quiet. Very close to Downtown Chicago. Enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with the shaded streets and many parks in the area.

Excellent property for family visit to Chicago. Jean was extremely helpful and informative. Comfy, eclectic decor and well equipped all around, particularly the kitchen. Close to great little grocery store, about half mile from Bloomingdale Trail, and 1 mile from epicenter of Damen Ave/Milwaukee Ave shopping. Easy Uber to downtown/Loop/Navy Pier.

Such a great spot. So clean and comfortable with all the nicest touches!
We loved the location and the house was one of the cleanest and best a stocked places we have ever stayed in. Hope to come back some time!

Enjoyed our stay
Property as advertised - nice neighborhood. 15 minute walk from the blue-line. This worked out well for our family trip with adults and young adults. Wished the bedrooms had had air vents. The bathroom had excellent AC and was freezing but to cool off the bedroom we had to leave our door open for airflow. It would have been nice to have had a fan available. Huge closet in the room with the queen beds, no closet in the bedroom with twins. Nice and clean, beautiful garden area. Would have been nice to know about the free neighborhood pool/hours. Owner checked in with us about an hour before checkout - nice and friendly.

Great setup! Great location!
Reservation process was really easy. The 2 units we rented were very quite comfortable and felt like home. It was a charming neighborhood with easy access to the Blue line. We had a wonderful long weekend and loved Chicago. Can’t wait to come back to this city and will definite use VRBO again.

Great place to stay! Street parking is very doable and it is not far to take the train into Chicago. Would stay again!

Great, safe and quiet, but close to the heart of the city
Our family of 8 people rented both units and it worked perfectly! Well stocked kitchens made it a great spot to prepare and celebrate Thanksgiving. Comfortable beds and linens. Plenty of street parking (although we accidentally parked in a crosswalk and got ticketed, so watch out for that). Great communication with host before and during our stay. Two things that are not a negative reflection on the property, but good to know are that If relying on public transport the nearest train station as far as we could tell was about a half mile away. Also, stairs are required to access the house. Would definitely rebook at Bucktown House. Thanks!

Perfect place for families
The apartments are excellent. Well maintained and well appointed. The location is excellent and the two apartments worked well for us as each family had their own space and we could easily travel on the stairs between them.

The gardens are beautiful and the house was so comfortable, cozy, clean and so cute!
The two apartments are connected by an inside stairs because it use to be one house. The keypads on all three doors were great. Kitchen well stocked. The bathrooms are refurbished and so nice, mostly tile and marble type surfaces. There is a washer and dryer on premises, which we loved because we could wash the bath towels. The pictures do not do it justice, the carriage house is better in real life. One downstairs bedroom was very tiny, the one with twin beds and no closet. Perfect for two kids tho. The master downstairs had a huge walk in closet. We all shared it!

Loved staying in the neighborhood of Bucktown. Cute corner bar at the end of the street. Sat in courtyard of coach house and had coffee. Loved the area. Beautiful and comfortable

A Great Property!
We have stayed in a few VRBO/AirBNB's, and this was one of the nicest. Everything was exactly as described and shown in the photos. The mattresses really are queen size, and seem to be brand new and very comfortable, with fabulous linens. There are a couple of very large closets, though a couple of bedrooms didn't have any, it wasn't a problem. The bathrooms are brand new with good water flow and plenty of hot water. Really fluffy towels and even bathrobes! We were told there was plenty of free street parking, and there was the whole week we were there. The rooms were quiet and it is a great neighborhood. We did a lot of cooking and found everything we needed. To top things off, the hosts were very accommodating to our needs and let us check in early and out late since they didn't have bookings on either side.
This was perfect for the eight of us and I couldn't recommend it any more.

Great place!
We did enjoy our stay here. It was very clean and comfortable for our group. The kitchen is well stocked so we had everything we needed to make a few meals in the house. The beds and linens are very nice. The wi-fi worked well and we felt safe here. The neighborhood was nice, we enjoyed Ipsento coffee and Red June cafe. We took the CTA blue line from O'hare and to downtown and the walk was very reasonable.
