The house was quiet and large enough for our family of 4 plus 2 spouses. It had lots of natural light, two decks to take advantage of the ski mountain and valley views, lots of comfortable places to sit and the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen, including our own! Better than the photos.

The house was terrific! Very spacious, very clean, close to Teton Village and we absolutely loved the hot tub! One day we had a moose in the back yard and several dear plus lots of birds! We had such a wonderful time and it was great to be close to the village as we were able to avail ourselves of the tram, go on hikes, and rent bicycles and ride on the biking walking path right from the village. Plus, the house was so close to Grand Teton National Park, where we spent a lot of time.
Only glitch was that the owner and his daughter and a friend came to stay in the apartment which is connected to the house and they took us s bit by surprise as no one had told us this might happen, so when he pulled up in the driveway and his daughter walked up to the garage, I was a little taken aback. But I totally understood their circumstances as they had to leave Yellowstone. And they were extremely quiet and respectful. I just would have appreciated a heads up.
Overall, this was a spectacular house and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay here.

Beautiful Wildlife-centric Mountain Retreat
From the moment we arrived we were amazed by the amount of wildlife wandering by and hanging out at the McBean House. Such an added bonus.
The recently updated mountain home was surrounded by natural forest underbrush and rocks. It felt very private, although there are neighbors on each side. We mostly lived on the main upstairs level, featuring a great kitchen with eat-in booth, a large open great room dining room combo and a great master suite in the back. The lower level had an additional master, two extra bedrooms and a smaller TV lounging area.
The views from the home are great. Out the back windows you have an up-mountain view where you can see the tram lines and hang gliders soaring off the mountain summit. Out front you can see the snow-capped mountains across the valley through the trees.
We were so comfortable at the home we could have stayed another week. Great for a couple on a getaway and perfect for larger groups, as well!

Excellent location and lots of room
If you’re with kids and doing ski school staying in Teton Village is a must! This house is very close to the mountain. Can easily walk it in under 10 minutes or drive 2 minutes to drop kids at ski school and return home to drop the car. Super easy.

Great house walking distance to Teton Village and the lifts.
A group of 6 of us stayed for a long weekend of boarding. The house is really nice, great setup. Location is fantastic - easy walk to Teton Village and the lifts/Tram. Good parking, nice open garage. Hot tub was great. Second night 2 Moose came and hung out on the deck next to the hot tub, which was pretty cool. Clean, well organized, etc. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Would stay again.

Shh...Don't tell anyone. ;)
This house has everything you need in a ski house: close to the slopes (short walk or shorter walk to a free shuttle), hot tub, plenty of kitchen/open spaces, and nice bedrooms. Our group had one family of four and 3 others. Neal at JHRL did a great job assisting us with lift tickets, rentals, and other needs.
