The location and views are fantastic. Giorgios is the perfect host. The property is clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The 3 terraces get the sun at various times of the day so you can also have shade when needed.
I can’t really fault it. Only to say that getting into the sea from the rocks is not for the faint hearted.

Location is breathtaking. Very peaceful and quiet but not too far from amenities. Host very warm and helpful.
No complaints, had an excellent experience. The only issue was the internet cut out for 4 days but it was the whole area so there was nothing the host could do. He still made an effort and communicated with us with updates.

The place offers a great relax, privacy and an excellent view on the western part of Crete, we could not make enough of gorgeous pictures of sunsets! It is also very bright thanks to the big glass doors around veranda (it was enough of light even in one rainy morning we had). There are little stairs leading to the swimming site (we called it our private beach, as although it is shared between two houses there was nobody else but us whenever we went there) :-) The villa is super clean, there’s fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine available. The hospitality of the owner was far beyond our expectations - George welcome us with a local pie baked by his mother, big bottle of white wine, bunch of dried oregano to take home as a gift, he prepared a Greek salad for us and taught us how to properly prepare Greek coffee! It was splendid! The last day of our stay George came with the food cooked by his mum (lentil soup, rabbit stew and baked aubergine) so that we have a local, delicious and healthy supper :-) We also were offered a degustation of the wine made by his grandpa :-) Our stay there was simply magic and we will definitely return!!! :-D Thank you very, very much Giorgos for making the stay at your home a wonderful experience!!!

Cosy, remote house on a dirt road outside Ravdoucha village, with panoramic sea view and direct access to the sea.
All you can hear are the cicades and the sea waves, all you can see is blue sea, and, far away, Gramvousa peninsula. You can go for a swim even before your morning coffee, as the house is just 20 m from the sea shore. You can pick figs from the two fig trees in the garden. There’s a small taverna within 5 minutes walk, while the more famous Waves on the Rock is within 15 minutes walk. Supermarket is 15 minutes’ drive.
Giorgios was a nice host; he waited for us with fresh fruits, olive oil, raki and “boureki” (Cretan pie) cooked by his mother – the best boureki we had in Crete till the end of the stay!
Hint, when you love to go off the beaten tracks: a trip to Menies beach, through the barren Rodopou Peninsula, with a stop at the taverna in Rodopos village on your way back.
The bathroom is tiny, but who cares when there’s an extra shower outside ... a shower with sea view! :)

The location is perfect, the view is amazing just a few steps from the sea. Uber relaxing and peaceful, when everything else is packed. George and his family are super kind and hospitable.
