Classic beach cottage - fully rebuilt from the ground up. Walk 20 yards up the alley-way right onto the beach! This is the best location on the Manasquan beach. Guarded beach right in front. Watch surfers on the adjacent beach. Walk to Carlson's for breakfast, GeeGee's for the best pizza at lunchtime, and Leggett's for Happy Hour.

So impressed by the location, decor and how clean this home was inside and out! We really enjoyed our stay.

Our family of five (kids ages 9 and under) had a nice time at the beach for a short stay. We’ve been to other beaches in the past, so this was our first time to Manasquan. The beach cottage was so clean, and the quick access to the beach was great! The kitchen was well-stocked, and cable TV kept my kids entertained during a rainy morning. It’s less than a 10 minute drive into town for restaurants, a yummy ice cream shop, and groceries.

This perfect for my husband and I along with our three children (20,19 &15 years old). The home was impeccably clean, the kitchen was so updated and the separate ice machine was a hit with all of us! Obviously you’ll have to do your own grocery shopping and linen rental (as specified in listing) this gem had a wonderful supply of utensils and extras that made our trip so much easier. Communication with owner was excellent and helpful. And while we were there for a sad occasion, my heart (since childhood) belongs to Manasquan. This home is so close the the beach (near swings) and the Manasquan inlet, we were able to center ourselves with the sand and beautiful sunsets. Only regret was it was never warm enough (late April) to take an outdoor shower- and I love me an outdoor shower! Obviously the weather was NO fault of the owner. We hope to stay there again! 5+ stars Thank you, Mike.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend. Everything was perfect! You can’t beat the location, the unit had everything we needed and Mike was extremely responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic location; loved being right behind the first row of homes, with an easy alley way for access. Very cute and clean. Upfront (and understood) request for linens/blankets/towels may be a bit of a hassle for some, for a short weekend stay.

Thirty strides from the ocean this place was a JEM!!! Two bath with two showers was ideal for 6 people. Master bed is small but perfect for a couple and the other bedrooms were great . Traded big bedrooms for comfort within the rest of the home. Kitchen , living area and the ocean walks !! Also the owners met us and were wonderful… direct, respectful and helpful! We actually got there while a home was being built next door … hammers going at 8 am sharp. Did not deter in the least from our trip.. we even shared muffins and biscuits from my sons wedding with the crew building the house. !!! 5 Stars

A Beach Oasis
This is our second time staying at this beautiful beach side home and we will be returning year after year. It is truly perfect in every way for our family of 4- can’t beat the location, bike-able to downtown, salt water fishing right around the corner, great running routes, cozy and super clean inside, size and space were just what we needed, great restaurants a short drive away, friendly neighbors, etc etc. My kids were so sad to leave and they are 12 and 14- hard to please ages!!!! Mike is extremely responsive and helpful- which made all the difference. We cannot wait to return next summer.

Exceptional experience!
The house was well-equipped, clean, up-to-date, and beautifully furnished. Be prepared to bring your own sheets/towels - not an issue. I fell in love with the ice maker! (It's those little things that make your day...)
There was some construction going on next door during our stay, which got us up earlier in the morning than we would have liked...but it got us onto the beach that much sooner! Which BTW is about 30 yards from the house : ) Overall - a great vacation!

Family Reunion
The beach cottage was a great place to stay for our family reunion weekend. The cottage is warm and inviting, neighborhood is quiet and beach access wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini vacation!

Great property!
This property is pretty close to perfect! The only thing that could improve it would be an ocean view, but with just a few steps you're on the beach! We were there for a week in April and truly enjoyed it. Comfy beds, comfy living room furniture, great open for plan, truly stocked kitchen (Some rentals say they are "stocked" but aren't. This one REALLY is!) Would stay here again without question.

Beautiful Beach Cottage one house back from the ocean. New upgrades including, tankless water heater, exposed spiral duct, cedar shower with a heated floor to step out onto, Sonos sound system, and many more! Loved our stay there and will be back.

BEAUTIFUL HOME AND VACATION SPOT
This home was beautiful! All updated but still holding true to the beach homes of the past. Perfect for sunny days and rainy. We showed up and it was raining but did not matter the home was laid out so everyone could hang out and play games and joke around. My whole family loved it and already started making plans to go back.

Awesome Surf Beach House🏄🏼♂️
Excellent location just steps from the beach. Awesome surf beach right in front of house. Riverfront cafe short walk from house was perfect for a quick breakfast. Back bay just a short drive away where you can put paddle boards or kayaks in. Edgar Felix Bike trail (coast to capital trail) in town that should go to Allaire State Park. Unfortunately there is construction at the moment. In-line skating park was also fun for our hockey kids. The roads were way too bumpy for skateboarding though. A quiet town during the week that became very popular on the weekend! All in all great for our family, and we felt safe letting the teenagers ride their bikes around to explore.

Much more than we could’ve imagined!
By the time we were looking for a week long beach rental, everything was booked. We modified our search on VRBO and stumbled upon this gem in Manasquan. We are very familiar with Manasquan and knew the exact location of this rental property which was right on the beach. The pictures on VRBO looked good and the reviews were positive so we decided to go for it even though it was for only 4 nights (we were looking for 7).
OMG!! Pictures cannot do this place justice! The high ceilings, open kitchen/living room, and HUGE dining nook, was simply fantastic. The wide hallway leading to the three good sized bedrooms made this place look much larger than we had expected. There’s a half bath in the living room area, a full bath with a beautiful large shower and a cedar shower at the end of the hallway where a back door leads to the beach.
We had six people on this trip. Me and my husband, my 85-year-old mother, my brother, and my two teenage sons. Six adults in this property and it was more than comfortable. We even had a rainy day where we were all stuck inside and the living space was so roomy!
The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you could possibly need. Measuring cups, pots and pans, cutting knives, and a gas stove with hood range. There was a large sized Keurig plus a coffee pot for those who like to brew more than one cup.
We had an amazing time in Manasquan and this beach property was perfect for our family. There is no doubt that we will be booking this property next summer and plan to stay for a full week!

An amazing property! Beautifully redone throughout. The pictures really don’t do it justice.
My kids loved the place and didn’t want to leave - they even made some friends in the neighborhood.
The owner was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to help make our stay a memorable one.
We did a remote school/remote work/beach trip. WiFi supported all of our demands.

House was perfect for off season at the shore.....steps to beach.......a block to inlet to watch boats. Very clean and comfortable.....we hope to return to this lovely home.

Great Beach and Fishing Location
If you walk out the back door the beach is right there and there is a walking path along the ocean if you walk out the street side and down the block you can go fishing right by the bulkhead Excellent Location!!

Nice Manasquan beach house.
This is a very nice house, short walk to the beach, maybe 40 yrds. if that, everything you need is there, seems to have been remodeled not too long ago, very clean, we all enjoyed very much.

Amazing beach week, steps from beach
We had an awesome time at the beach house - it really is literally steps from the beach, close enough that our kids could run there barefoot. The house looks just like in the pictures - very clean, spacious, and cute beach decor. The built in eating nook was perfect to fit the family, and the layout with tv and couches was very comfortable. Comfy beds too! Everything about the house and location was perfect. All the details were well thought through - cedar shower right at back entrance, hose outside to clean the sand off your feet, clothesline out back... Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway
Owners were lovely and the property was clean, refreshed and perfect condition. We had a great week seconds off the beach and with the one rainy day we had, it more than accommodated our group of 6 for a day of TV and chilling together on the couch. I would recommend this house for any family looking for an easy getaway. Location was great.

Fabulous location, great cottage, wonderful owners!
We had a great week at this little gem of a property, right by the ocean. It was just as adorable as the pictures make it look, the owner was super responsive and considerate, and the location can't be beat. River Cafe was surprisingly good for a corner beach shack (highly recommened!). We biked, we jogged, we fished, swam in the ocean, and were not ready to return home at the end of the week. Book with confidence!

Great stay during home renovation
This place was great and met every expectation. Our home was being renovated and we needed a place to stay for a few days. For a family of five this was a great spot for us - we were close to home and yet it felt like a vacation. Great location by the beach and inlet. We loved our stay - thanks for being such great hosts.
