My wife and I found this wonderful cabin to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. The cabin was absolutely charming with a rustic feel. Cabin was clean and well supplied with the basic necessities to get you started. We stayed 4 nights and found we did not need any additional supplies. While we wanted to spend some time touring the Wimberley area we found ourselves sitting on the back porch/deck till about 11:30 am the first 2 mornings just enjoying the view, wildlife (fish in creek, birds, squirrels, turtles in creek) and the relaxation of it all to go with the rocking chairs. Too, hot to use the fire pit and will plan a return trip in the winter to utilize as well as the indoor fireplace. One suggestion in regards to the bed in the master bedroom...I am 5' 6" tall with a small mobility issue. The bed is a little tall and I needed a step stool to get in and out of the bed. Most people won't need the stool and we carry one with us just in case so just an FYI. And "Yes" it is ADA accessible. Loved it and big thanks to the owners for allowing us the opportunity to share this great piece of heaven.

We needed a relaxing weekend away and this was beyond perfect! The cabin is so close to town but feels like you’re tucked away from the city. Super clean and smelled great (I’m big on smells lol) Highly recommend staying here!

It was a super nice cabin. It was clean and smelled great. The back porch was awesome with the rocking chairs. We ate breakfast out there each morning. The bed was comfy and the kitchen worked great. Secluded, beautiful nature views and still very close to town. Would totally come back!

The cabin was wonderful, clean, comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our two night stay. We enjoyed morning coffee sitting in the rocking chairs on the back porch overlooking the well kept lawn and beautiful rocky creek. Very close to Wimberley. Will be coming back in the future!

This cabin was a great option to have the comfortable country feel with a secured entry on main road only minutes from Wimberly, that has a wonderful grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and things to do. The cabin was super neat and inviting with plenty of towels and nice linens. The wonderful porch and outdoor seating areas is well laid out with 2 bedroom home with everything you need. We enjoyed the pond with little waterfall, fish, hummingbirds, deer, and just a peaceful setting. Would highly recommend.
Thank you!

This is our second time staying at this property. We absolutely love the cabin location and feel. It had everything we needed (a fire-pit, fireplace, and hot tub). We requested an early checkin or late checkout however was declined due to cleaning company. Disappointed as we killed 6 horsefly’s inside the home, which was atypical. Otherwise, a wonderful stay! We will return again next year as this is our ritual for my husband’s Birthday!!!

My husband and I are locals from Marble Falls - we stayed here for a weekend away together! The cabin is the perfect size for 2 adults or a family of 4. The backyard is spacious and flows with the living space. Super cute decor l, awesome fire place for the winter months, good size kitchen space. The hot tub was well maintained and so nice! The distance to town is perfect. We loved that it was gated. We will definitely stay here again in the future!
Notes: the cabin is on the same property as 2 other cabins but they are in their own space and private as well. Some reviews mention the difficulty finding the gate? It’s not hard. It’s a gravel road. This is Texas. Get over it. Lol
Suggestion: the property owner provides direct tv - if it were me, I’d get rid of the direct tv and upgrade all the tvs to smart TVs so guests can just sign into their streaming services. It would save money in the long run as well. 😊
Thank you so much for having us!

We thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a cabin and the beautiful views surrounding it. The best part was the outdoor fire pit. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was a perfect size space for us to enjoy Christmas. We appreciated the little Christmas tree that was placed in the living room.

First of all the entrance is horrible!
They need a big flag or banner or huge sign to advertise entrance, name of lodge area, etc.
If you try to find it after 6p you won’t find it. Very frustrating! We missed it twice.
Secondly, area where you park is pitch dark. They need a bright light so you can see where your parking as you drive up to property.
The road to get to the cabin is horrible. Good luck If you don’t have a 250 pickup truck to make it thru.
Third, hot tub worked BUT Jets sucked.
Last, seemed like no insulation in cabin took almost a whole day to heat.

It was a nice cabin but driveway was rough with a car. The dishes in cabinets were dirty and we had to wash before and after using. Not enough utensils. The checkout time was too early to do all the cleaning requirements. The railings on back deck not safe. Won’t stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The grounds and cabin were clean and very nice. We particularly liked the back porch/balcony overlooking the creek. We also enjoyed the fire pit and jacuzzi. We found the location to be very convenient to Wimberley center. The turn-off from the highway was in disrepair, which caused my car to bottom out and get damaged. There were also several fire ant mounds on the property. In all, it was a lovely getaway in a very clean and nicely appointed cabin with a gorgeous view. We can see ourselves coming back.

Location and view were great. Very peaceful. We loved watching the hummingbirds.
(side steps were a bit slippery. also there were no directions to find the location, and it was so hard to find. The property manager was extremenly kind in getting us to the gate. )

Cabin was as advertised. Had everything needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels provided and firewood provided for our stay. Other cabin in close proximity, but still felt private. Only con would be the many spider webs on porch ceiling. Was a bit unsettling. Hot tub was nice. Could use a cleaning and only half the jets work. Enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Great cabin experience! Booked it for my girlfriend’s birthday and she loved it. Had a slight issue with the lock code and someone seemed to had been using our hot tub when we were not home but than that it was a great stay.
The property manager April was helpful and always ensured we were okay when concerned about small questions. Definitely would do again! And recommend to family back home in the Cayman Islands

The cabin is so beautiful and located close to the cute downtown. Its super dry in Texas so unfortunately the lake was dried up, or else it would have made an even more beautiful view. Hot tub, grill and fire pit were awesome amenities!

We will be staying again. Everything was very clean and is stocked with all basic necessities. If you read older reviews about the bed not being good they let us know the bed was less than 2 years old and had add additional pillow topper on it and we both agreed the main bed is very comfortable. The back porch is perfect. we spent a lot of time out there. Hot tub was nice and clean as well. We loved it so much much we added a night to our stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and had plenty of room. The grounds were beautiful, and the location made it easy to get to lots of places.

An overall fun experience at the cabin; however, the mattress on the king bed should be replaced and the fire pit area may not be suitable for children due to a large drop off.

Overall, the cabin and our experience was great! The cabin had a rustic charm without feeling outdated! Perfect for a weekend to disconnect. Had I know that dish network was the only option for television, I would have brought my Roku to watch Netflix, but this didn’t hinder the beautiful view and comfortable stay. My only complaint is that some of the dishes didn’t seem very clean. There was a baking tray under the stove that had crumbs on it, the kettle had water left inside, and a coffee cup had some residue left inside. With the clean your own dishes policy, some people have different standards than others, so I might recommend asking guests to clean dishes in the dish washer. That was a minor thing, and overall we were very pleased and would definitely stay at this rental again!

We loved our stay at this cabin, as soon as you walk in you can smell the wood, and the views are spectacular! We definitely enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Others had mentioned the need for a new mattress in the primary bedroom. Yes, it’s time to replace. Also mentioned was uncomfortable seating but we found it to be fine. Could use a good wall dusting and floor cleaning as well as spider web removal on the back porch ceiling. I’m sure that would be a constant job since it’s located in the woods.
It’s necessary to also note that the creek is almost completely dry and a burn ban is in effect so don’t count on swimming or enjoying any water flow. Nor can you count on using the fire pit with the burn ban.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was as advertised. The only issue was the patio sliding wouldn’t lock because it looked as though someone tried to break in. It took two texts and then someone came out. Initially the gentleman said he couldn’t fix it. In the end, he fixed it. Phew! I was uncomfortable staying somewhere where I couldn’t lock the door. Luckily it was repaired! Thank you for a lovely stay.
