LOCATION:

Villa Hermosa is located at the exclusive Casa de Campo Resort in La Romana, the Dominican Republic.

Casa de Campo Resort is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

Since the resort’s opening in 1974 as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities from all over the world. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean.

This incredible 7,000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with swimming pools at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th-century replica Mediterranean village.

La Romana airport is located five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located about a 45-minute drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away.

NOTE: You’ll have a golf touring cart included with the villa rental for transportation around the resort.

THE SPACE:

Villa Hermosa is an impressive 12.000 sq. ft., 7-bedroom, 7 1/2 bath villa built on 3 levels (the main level and 2 lower levels). The property also features an enormous backyard and lawn area surrounded by palm trees and lush vegetation. The expansive grounds make this villa ideal for hosting private events.

The interior design is very modern with clean lines, great furniture, high ceilings, light colors, lots of great design features, and no clutter. This is a place that will make you feel welcome and relaxed.

The large terrace has several lounge areas and overlooks the swimming pool and enclosed, private garden. The swimming pool has a wading area (shallow area), which is ideal if you have small children.

The open kitchen and dining area is the heart of the villa where you can entertain with your friends, enjoy delicious meals, fine wine, and good conversations. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary to cook delicious meals during your vacation - AND your villa rental includes a private chef to prepare all of your meals at the villa (food and beverages are not included).

From the kitchen/dining area, you have direct access to the covered terrace by the swimming pool. This is a semi-shaded area with a small outdoor dining table, a sitting area, and pool chairs. Outdoor ceiling fans are available to keep you cool.

The formal living room is a beautiful space with several comfortable sofas and chairs. Slide the big windows open and step right out onto the terrace where you have another sofa sitting area with ceiling fans – if you prefer to sit directly by the pool.

Get the popcorn ready and enjoy movie nights in the TV/media room, which has a comfortable sofa. Your kids will love hanging out in this room!

Villa Hermosa has 7 comfortable bedrooms located on 2 different levels.

Bedroom 1 (main level): The Primary suite with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, access to a small terrace, TV, closet, sitting area, ensuite bathroom with shower, and a private, outdoor Jacuzzi.

CASA DE CAMPO RESORT FEE:

The villa rental does not include the mandatory Casa de Campo Resort fee, which must be paid on arrival at the resort:

Kids 4-12 years old: US$ 12 per person per night
Kids less than 4 years old: FREE

VILLA STAFF:

Chef: Your private Spanish-speaking chef will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner to be enjoyed at the villa (groceries are not included). The chef may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Butler: The English/Spanish-speaking butler can serve drinks, and food, and generally helps around the house. The butler may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Housekeeper: The Spanish-speaking housekeeper will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens (usually every 3rd day). We do not offer personal laundry service. The housekeeper may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Villa Manager: You’ll also have an English/Spanish-speaking villa manager available during your stay. This is your go-to person for any questions or if you need any services that you haven’t booked before your arrival. The villa manager will greet you when you arrive at the villa, check you in, and will be available daily throughout your entire stay.
