Charming all-sports Spider Lake cottage with 100' of private lakefront access and air conditioning. Sleeps 10. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Spacious kitchen fully remodeled. Very clean and comfortable with high-speed wifi included. Quiet setting. Large fire pit next to the water. Dock and large waterfront deck for fishing or relaxing. Peddle boat included with rental. 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City's shops, restaurants, beaches and activities. Up North living at its best! Friends of 40 years met up here to enjoy the lake and Traverse city. Fun times had by all fishing, kayaking and reminiscing about old times. Highly recommend this lake for a quiet place to enjoy.

This was a great place and the listing and photos are accurate. There were four of us in our group and the house was a perfect size. Most restaurants and attractions are within a 15-20 minute drive in downtown traverse city.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The house is very well equipped with everything! Pots and pans, plates, utensils, coffee maker and keurig, iron, binoculars, big selection of books, dvd and games! Take the time to go through the books that are on the coffee table, very informational! There's many magazines and brochures on the desk, even if you can Google all the information, it's fun to look at them!
Loved the decorations, loved the little accents everywhere that make you feel like you're home. The open floor plan is perfect, couch super comfy to watch tv. Spectacular views of the lake and the trees, just like a postcard! Beautiful nature all around! Very very peaceful and private but still short drive to Travers city, Olesons food market is 8 min away for anything you need. We loved the kayaks, paddle board and pedal boat! Loved the fish at the dock and turtles! The fire pit by the lake was awesome! We did our polish sausage, that we brought from Chicago, on the bonfire, and potatoes and smores. It was truly a fantastic stay for us! Strongly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back!

We booked this property for the week of the Iceman mountain bike race, as the one we stayed at last year was unavailable. This place completely exceeded our expectations in just about every way. The kitchen/dining/living area was extra spacious. The bedrooms were great, beds were very comfortable. There were 6 of us staying and there was more than enough room for everyone.
The location was ideal as it was just a short drive to the bike race finish area at Timber Ridge. We liked being close enough to shopping & dining without being in the center of town. Plus the views over the lake are spectacular, lots of fall colors as the leaves still haven't all fallen.
The local contact Bob & his wife were both extremely friendly and helpful. They live next door and he stopped by shortly after we arrived to introduce himself and check to see if there was anything we needed. Later that evening when a sudden snowfall came through the area, he stopped by to offer to store our bikes overnight in his garage to protect them from the elements. That's over and above :)
That also brings up the only regret we had about the place; that it didn't have a secure storage area that we could keep the bikes out of the weather. But overall that was a minor concern as conditions were fine for the remainder of the week.
Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay and would certainly love to return. We would also like to come back in the warmer months some time to enjoy more of the lake life.

This property was very warm and inviting! We had 6 people staying, but it could very comfortably house 8 adults. I loved this section of spider lake because it was quiet, but you could easily boat to a larger section of the lake as well. Our host Tim was very helpful and responded quickly. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the little touches like the lit pathway down to the water and the beach bonfire area where we sat under the stars and enjoyed conversation. It was close to Traverse City but without the hustle and bustle of being in town. What a perfect getaway!

We are repeat renters for this house, for good reason! Really appreciate lake access being on one of the calm, no-wake areas of the lake. All needs are anticipated with the house’s furnishings. Owner responds promptly and also has a friendly local contact next door to help out.

The listing was accurate. Beautiful cottage with virtually everything you need. Clean, comfortable beds, open layout so everyone could socialize. Super decks and docks, kayaks, paddleboard were wonderful to use. The water is clean, sandy, soft bottom, quiet cove for swimming. The area was nice to walk in and close to the park for pickleball or tennis. The stairs to the lake, though there were many of them, were large and easy to navigate. Overall a wonderful week at a beautiful relaxing cottage. Love the place and would highly recommend to others.

Our family of five enjoyed this spacious yet cozy home right on a peaceful cove in Spider Lake, which is about 20 minutes by car from downtown TC. Our host, Tim, was very helpful and prompt with any questions we had before arrival and checked in via the app after we arrived to make sure everything was okay. The pedal boat was a lot of fun; for an additional fee we rented kayaks and a paddle board. Just sitting on the dock under the shade of the cabana was so peaceful. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Be aware that there are many steps down to the lake (the house’s proximity up on a hill gives it it’s great view).

Perfect getaway with amazing view
Everything about this house was perfect. You can’t beat the view of spider lake in the backyard. It was extremely clean and the beds were all comfortable. There was more than enough space for our group of 6. It was so fun to go down to the lake and have a bonfire and hang out by the water. The 20 minute drive to downtown was really easy too which we did many times throughout our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Spider Lake Getaway
Our stay was lovely. The lake and scenery was spectacular. The home was spacious and fit our needs adequately. There was firewood delivered to the address upon arrival for our use in the fire pit-I felt that was a kind and thoughtful gesture. The home was very clean and we only had 2 issues that weren’t a big deal, but simply mentioning if the host would like to rectify. The drain in the bathroom in the opposite side of the living room appeared to be clogged and there were no kitchen linens to be found, otherwise, we were pleased with our accommodations and stay.

This property is spacious and very well maintained. The property owner was very responsive and accommodating. The next door neighbors were also a pleasure to meet and we couldn’t have enjoyed our time better. We will definitely be renting this property again!

Picky review:
I’m going to be picky here. There were some cob webs in the home, the worst are above the door in the twin beds room. The trim needs to be dusted throughout, the tile flooring is cracked in a few places, and the wood laminate is buckled so every step is met with a squeak, creak, and crackle. The water pressure is not great either. However, none of these things are bad enough that would stop us from staying again. Overall, the place is nice, spacious, and in a good location to enjoy Traverse area.

My group and I enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved the open concept and it was perfect for a girls weekend away! Check in and check out was very easy and we had everything we needed for our stay.
