About this house rental
Perfect location with all updated amenities, this is a perfect spot for a family, or 4 gals going shopping, 4 guys going golfing, or 2 couples sharing a vacation in Door County. Two comfortable bedrooms have attached bathrooms with beautifully tiled showers, accessible from your bedroom or the hallway. Our bedrooms offer updated king beds or can be configured into twins if that better meets your needs. Enjoy cable TV or a movie from your bed. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious so you can cook in - or cook out on the grill. It is well stocked with cookware and appliances so you can enjoy fixing a meal in your home away from home. It's an easy walk to Main St Market, downtown shopping and restaurants. Sharing coffee or an afternoon refreshment on the front porch is about as pleasant as it gets. The living room is light and airy combining with the kitchen to make a spacious great room for your group. Pull up a stool to the counter and plug in your computer - the house is equipped with WIFI. Washer and dryer downstairs are also available for your use. The yard is big and pleasant, adjoining a former cherry orchard. Enjoy an evening around the fire pit! You can walk to the Marina from here, or to the beautiful Egg Harbor beach, and enjoy the free concerts at the park on Sunday afternoon's. No need for a car while in Egg Harbor at the Yellow House. .

We used the house as a landing spot for our adventures. We didn't cook, only made coffee and used the refrigerator. House size was perfect for 2 couples. Loved the porch - a little noisy, but pleasant. We stayed 4 nights, could have used more towels, but overall it was a great place to stay.

It was perfect. We were meeting a couple of dozen friends at a local campground, and was perfect for us since we don’t camp. Beds were comfortable and we had all the conveniences of home. Plus that we had our bedroom with a king size bed and our own private bathroom and our friends that stayed with us did too

We stayed at the yellow house for four nights. It's a great location for anything you want to experience in Door county. The beds are comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Some of our favorite stops were Stones Throw and Door Peninsula Winery, Harbor Fish and Grille in Bailey's Harbor for dinner, and The White Gull Inn in Fish Creek for breakfast.
We highly recommend the Yellow House in Egg Harbor to anyone who wants to enjoy Door County!

This little yellow house has everthing you need. It is so nicely decorated with attention to details. We found cute little Door County items throughout. The bedrooms are big enough and the beds were comfortable. Having the connected bathrooms was so nice. We did not cook, but it looked like the kitchen was well equipped. We spent most of our time on the lovely front porch for coffee or cocktails. Sometimes there was traffic noise but who cares. In a previous review someone mentioned the room air conditioners. When we stayed it was very hot outside and we felt by keeping the bedroom doors open when not sleeping the rest of the house was well cooled and the bedrooms were perfect at night. It was actually nice to be able to choose how cool each bedroom would be as one person in our party likes it cold and the other does not. With having the adjoining bathroom, the air could blow directly into it too. It was nice to have the ceiling fans too. Because it was so hot, we actually brought a fan out on the porch so we were able to enjoy it. We just loved this place.

Overall, we were very happy with this rental. It was wonderful to be in a house with a nice yard and in easy walking distance to the market and eateries and shops of Egg Harbor. We loved the front porch. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Everything was very clean. A few of us were unhappy with the quality of the mattresses. We could not get the TV in one of the bedrooms to function. Also, we discovered that the lack of central A/C in July was a bit of an issue. The bedrooms are easily cooled with window units but the LR and kitchen were uncomfortably warm during our stay in late July.

The place was a great location and i loved having a full house in door county. The place was exactly as described.
The place was not perfect with a todler as there was no deadbolt or was to keep the outside door locked from the inside. Other than that no complaints.

All was good with the house. A little disappointed with the listing saying ‘aircondtiioning’ when we only had window units in bedrooms. Thankfully we didn’t need anything more.

As frequent (annual) visitors to Door County, we like to vary where we stay. This time, we were here with another couple, and the Yellow House was perfect — convenient location, great amenities, comfort, and seamless interactions with the host. We highly recommend it!

The place was just as advertised. Perfect for two couples. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Lynn was great!! She's very responsive and had lots of ideas for things to do. We have a couple of suggestions for fun things to do if you don’t already have them on your list. We booked a 2.5 hr Segway tour in Bailey’s Harbor that was a lot of fun. Riding a Segway is super easy - don't be intimidated if you've never been on one! We also went on a wine, cheese and chocolate tour with Door County Trolley that was also a great time and very tasty. But the best was a glass class at Burnt Bluff Glassworks in Fish Creek. The four of us made something from hot glass - two paperweights and two bowls. HIGHLY recommend that; we would do that again! For the adults, Hatch Distilling in Egg harbor (within walking distance of the Yellow House!) pours a good cocktail! :-)
Thanks again - that was the first visit to Door County for three of us, but it won’t be the last!

My husband and I and another couple stayed in the house from Sunday to Friday. We are all in our 70s and found the house very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed, if you want to cook (which we didn't.) The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lynn was a gracious and responsive host. The house is close to restaurants, grocery store and shops. Nice location!

It was a perfect house, in a great location to explore Egg Harbor

Most things were very nice. The common area design and furnishings were just right and private quarters for each couple were fine, for the most part.
However the beds were just so-so. Both couples felt that it's time to upgrade mattresses, perhaps to something like "Tuft and Needle." Our friends also thought their bathroom needed to be brighter. (A bulb was out but the problem was bigger than that.)

Spot on description of this wonderful property. We have stayed here before and loved it so much, we booked it again. It’s a great house to just hang out, whether it’s on the beautiful porch or back at the open fire pit. The property owner is extremely responsive and truly takes care of the property. It is very clean and has great amenities, as well as it’s a premier location - walking distance to downtown Egg Harbor. You will not be disappointed!

This property is in a perfect location - easy to go anywhere in DC from there, but within walking distance to most places in Egg Harbor. It is a comfortable home and perfect for smaller groups. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. I would for sure stay there again.

The Little Yellow House exceeded expectations. It is fully stocked, close to town, in fact, within walking distance of a brewery and other places. The bedrooms have attached bathrooms which are very up-to-date. All in all, the house was a great respite from the sightseeing and the groups of people.

Great location for egg Harbor. The check in process was almost nonexistent so that was very easy. The property was kept up and very clean when we got there. The location is wonderful for walking access to downtown egg Harbor. I am a fisherman so I had a big boat along and I chose this home because it had a big enough driveway and electricity right next to the driveway to plug in my boat at night. Backing the boat into the driveway with the highway 42 traffic was a little tricky at times but certainly not a dealbreaker for me. During the busier months, there is definitely A good deal of traffic noise but I knew that going in so that was not a big deal to me. All in all, I would certainly rent this home and future visits.

We prefer Egg Harbor when visiting Door County. Easy to get to and calmer than the other Bay side towns. This property was perfect for a two week stay. Everything was fairly new. Very nice kitchen and well supplied. Two king sized beds in virtually identical suites. Private bath for each suite. Dishwasher and washer/dryer. Lynn was very easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

Lovely home in Egg Harbor
We very much enjoyed staying at the yellow house. It was so cute and comfortable and walking distance to downtown EH. We loved the boutique across the street and had so much fun making smores over a fire in the back yard. We would highly recommend this property to other travelers.

This property is in the middle of Door County and makes it so easy to travel to all the towns. The property is very clean and well stocked. Egg Harbor is the perfect small town with plenty to offer you.

The Yellow House is very clean, well maintained, and inviting. We liked having two bedrooms, each with their own bath, well equipped kitchen, nice sitting area, including on front porch. The home is within walking distance of village of Egg Harbor, grocery store, restaurants and good location to explore the Door County peninsula. Owner very responsive with communications.

Charming Yellow House
This was the perfect house for us! We felt right at home and had everything we needed to make the stay pleasant . The location was perfect, as we were able to walk downtown, and it is also centrally located to all other destinations you might visit . We will definitely stay here on our next Door County getaway!
