The location of this property is perfect. Super easy beach access, you can sit on the patio to enjoy the ocean. Once you go inside the property things change a bit. The layout of the place is odd but nice for larger groups. It just felt like nobody came to clean after the last renters. There were dirty towels still out, dirty dishes in the cabinet, a dishwasher full of dirty dishes, black mold on the ceiling, and best of all, a mouse. Overnight a critter chewed a hole through my Northface backpack to get to a granola bar. I know the owner typically has some nasty responses to reviews so I don't expect otherwise but this is our honest opinion. We absolutely loved the area but the house itself was tolerable...

First off I can say we had an amazing time while there. You can’t get any closer to being on the beach, you walk out the front door and the ocean is across the street. It was super easy to communicate with management and get access. Parking is perfect, we brought our 25’ boat and was able to park right in the front with no problem. We had no issues at all. Local restaurants were great and the boat ramp was 2 miles away.
The House is exactly what you would expect to find on the beach. Was it perfect no, was it nicely decorated and clean yes. There were a couple old roof leaks that were visible but nothing that affected our stay at all. There was some rust around the tub drain but it’s an older home and didn’t affect taking a shower. The beds were good and plenty of space for 6 adults and not feel like we were on top of each other. Kitchen was big and lots of places to sit and hang out.
We were all very happy with the place. If you are looking for perfect and new then look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a clean nice place to stay that’s close to the water and a great price then this is your place. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for a great weekend.

We found this to be a perfect location. Beachy home sits right on A1A with the ocean just steps from the pavement. Checkin was easy. Wouldn’t use the bath tub (stained/painted/moldy bath mats) in the ”en suite” but it was nice to have the second bathroom. Overall we had a great visit…thank you, Steve for allowing us this great escape up the coast!

Amazing view of Ocean from front porch. Easy walk to nearby restaurants. Relaxing beach decor and large kitchen. Super cold AC during hot summer days.
Exterior of house is weathered due to sea air but view makes up for it! Great Value for the price. Really enjoyed this Beach House!

The outside was like umm but then you open the front door, and it was amazing. Newly remodel on the inside. We were not disappointed. This place was so close to downtown, and the beach was wonderful. The house had plenty of space for everyone. When we go back to Flagler we will be staying here again. Thank you so much

It is a beach cottage…the outside is a little weathered but it is right on the ocean and I’m sure the salt water affects the property. Flagler is such a fun area and it is walking distance to all the restaurants. Inside was extremely clean and comfy. The beds were great and basically we only slept there. I was surprised and happy to see 4 beach chairs as the beach is right across the street. It was great waking up to see the sunrise right in front of you and have a coffee on the porch at night listening to the ocean!…we would definitely stay there again.

Nice beach house location. It appeared the house was tidy but not clean as in dust were on the tables, sand on chair, open box beer left under cabinets, tubs had dirt in it upon arrival, fridge seemed to be leaking water! But overall the home was roomy with a nice lay out sheets and towels were clean and booking the stay was easy, hosts were responsive.

Love the views from the front porch, we stayed here last year and this year they have put all new furniture in and it was very clean, the manager was wonderful. We will be staying again.

Right on the beach. Close to restaurants and stores in the little downtown Flagler area. Beds were soft and comfy. Enjoyed being able to sit on the porch and just look at the ocean and read a book. Home is older and some things might need a little repair, but all things considered it was a pretty good place to stay.

For the most part our stay was good. The only parts that were not okay was the time we lost due to having to wait on air conditioning maintenance. I feel like the manager should have been more involved with waiting and staying with the air conditioning company. If we had not called the air conditioning company back we would not have had a portable air unit to get us by until they replaced the air conditioning. I know things happen but I feel like we spent more time trying to get air conditioning in the house than the manager did. I also feel like we were very understanding and accommodating to all of the interruption of our family vacation time.

Hmm.not really sure what to say about this place...For sure if you have a motorcycle not the right place to stay..hard to get and out..just grass and sand. The pictures really don't tell the truth..sure it looks cute but its deceiving...so many things need to to be fixed..they are minor but I would say nessarary..outlet covers not attached to the wall.loose tile on the floor..blinds missing some vertical blinds. broken towel rack in bathroom..not enough towels for everyone..now the one thing that was horrible was the room where the washer and dryer is..dirty dirty dirty area..things laying all over..there was a bathroom ( not useable) dirty gross toilet.. with furniture jammed in there..this is a room that the guest see because of doing laundry..it should be persentable..and it was not! HORRIBLE..I would say the price is probably right if your ok with all the the things that need to be repaired.
Would we stay here again..NEVER

Do not under any circumstances book this property. This property is nothing like the description or the pictures. The pictures must be VERY old and there has been no maintenance. First when we arrived an hour after checkin time, there was somebody still in the house cleaning with a dog. This person asked me to come in without a mask, which I declined. They then took another 20 minutes to finish up with their dog in the house.
The second issue was that the couch was broken and being held up by a cinder block. As someone with two young kids this was a safety hazard.
You'll notice there are no pictures of the bathroom but it is described as renovated. The bathrooms had a hole in the wall and the only bathtub had paint chipping, a serious health hazard for my 2 year old. They have not been renovated in at least 15 years.
The first morning my child found an old piece of bread with a bite out of it in the living room, which speaks to how clean the house was.
The description says there is a washer and dryer. It is in basement off of one of the bedrooms and when I went to locate it, it was in use. It is not described as shared in the description.
For safety purposes, the only security is a key pad lock, and it is clear from the code that it has not been changed in years. I actually put a chair in front of the door the first day and it was clear from the floor under the chair that the house had not been cleaned in years.
We left the property on the second day and booked a separate house. We spoke to the manager who agreed to be refund us everything but the first two days. He then ghosted us and refused to answer our messages or calls. After returning home we contacted VRBO and they told us they could no longer refund us because the stay had ended. This is a SCAM artist who clearly knows how to avoid having to return the booking money.
This ruined a day of our vacation. What a headache and the place we stayed was also on the beach and much cleaner and nicer. I have never left an VRBO early or left a negative review. But I do not want this scam artist ruining other people's vacations. I will try to attach photos so that you can see what the house actually looks like.

From payment through check-in and out, we had a great stay in this house. The location, right across the street from the beach, was super convenient. The outside of the house looks a little older but it’s super cute inside and had more than enough room for me, my dad and my 9 year old daughter. It was also nice and quiet at night. The property manager checked on us the first or second day to be sure everything was fine which was nice. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This place is perfect. A bit dated. But so humble. Shabby beach chic. They’ve taken great measures to make the inside beautiful. The beach access was directly across the street. Plenty of parking. Ability to walk to everything. We’ll be back. Views are incredible.

This is the second time i stayed here but first time with my family. You can’t beat the location. The beach access is across the street and you can walk everywhere in Flagler. To the right is a great coffee shop and a few restaurants and to the left is the pier area. It is not attractive on the outside but you need to look past that. Inside is nice, kitchen is very well equipped and has a lot of natural light.
The bathrooms are a bit dated (tub is peeling in one) but roomy with lots of shelves to put things and lots towels.
The furniture is starting to show a bit of wear but still comfortable.
Property manager is super nice and lives close. We had no issues during the stay but I’m sure if we did, he would have responded immediately. He even checked in with us when passing by.
There was confusion with my rental due to owner having a personal issue and not communicating to the manager about my stay. Luckily it worked out that we were able to get in but that does make me worry a bit about renting with VRBO in future vs a hotel.
If you are looking for a roomy comfortable beach house in Flagler, you will save hundreds a night by staying here.

The property is a bit dated, but the location and view from the front porch more than make up for it. Property manager was more than helpful and available for any issues that might arise.

Moms and daughters all in the educational world. Plenty of room and beach access was easy. We walked everywhere - each night to dinner. When we left to come home, that was first time in car since we parked it at arrival. Flaglers restaurants were still low on employment because of pandemic so dining was long each night - but the weather was perfect all week so waiting was pleasant. This rental is dated (furniture, kitchen and appliances, outside) but was just what we needed to have a relaxing recharging week at the beach.
