"A Village Overlook" is an elegant and contemporary loft with an open floor plan, you will be amazed at the details! Situated perfectly in the heart of St. Simons Village, you will enjoy the feel of sophisticated urban living at the beach in this unique, fully furnished two bedroom, 2.5 bath condo.
So many features! There is an open floor plan with large living room for entertaining with lots of windows. Gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. This beauty has wall to wall windows overlooking Mallery Street and the quaint village shops. With more than enough room, this 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath loft is just under 2,000 SF.
Each bedroom is delightfully decorated and each has its' own en-suite bath. Completely remodeled and up to date! You are assigned one (1) parking spot in the village, next to the building. There is no elevator for this unit.

• Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons).

This is our 2nd time staying at location. We love the whole vibe of the unit ands its location. The location was very convenient for walking to the pier, shops and many restaurants. Overall a great vacation. Can’t wait for our next trip to Saint Simons!!

From the moment you enter the property we were thrilled with the choice. From the dedicated parking space just outside the front door to the expansive space of the loft, to the balcony connecting us to the vibe of the town, everything was perfect.

This was a really great place to stay. The apt was clean, stylish and roomy, with a fun balcony to sit out on. It was really convenient to little shops and restaurants, and also to the pier. Every night after eating at one of the many restaurants we would walk to the pier to watch the sunset, and sea birds, and then walk around the town. It was very relaxing. During the day we went biking on St. Simon and Jekyll Island. We felt lucky to have such a fun, well furnished place to stay while on St. Simon Island. It was great too as they give you your own free parking spot right by the building.

This was the first time ever I have not stayed oceanfront at SSI. I was able to plan a last minute getaway with one of my friends and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in Village Overlook. The condo was big, open and super roomy with pretty much 2 master bedrooms. Beds were super comfortable which is a must for me. Only suggestion is label the many, many light switches!

Great place. We love this condo. It is beautiful. We spent time people watching in the Village from our balcony. The location is great, close to the pier and restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Due to the location, it was very loud to sleep on the pull out couch in the living area. The couch desperately needs a new mattress, as it is very thin and worn. We loved the walkability of the apartment and enjoyed people watching from the balcony.

Checkin was incredibly smooth and simple. Unit is in an exceptional location, right in pier village, with a reserved parking space (although we had one poacher, briefly). Unit seems brand new and is in excellent condition. There is, predictably, some noise from the stores and bars along the street but there seems to be a noise curfew. By 1030 pm it was silent and dark. You can walk out to the pier right out your front door. Other service and shoppiong areas are an easy bike ride away. Extraordinary unit, perfectly equipped, and an excellent company. We will definitely use them again- thank you!

We loved our stay in St Simons. The condo was beautiful and just as described. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. I would suggest a new coffee pot. There is a Keurig in the unit but we prefer a traditional coffee maker. We will definitely stay here again. We loved the small village and the shops. It is a short walk to the pier and the lighthouse with beautiful views.

As a yearly visitor to SSI, this was my first experience with Real Escapes Properties and A Village Overlook. The location was amazing and perfect for anyone who loves to people watch. Very convenient for shopping and walking to the pier. Extremely roomy bedrooms, baths, and large walk-in closets. We had an issue with miscommunication on a broken fridge, but management followed up and made it right which I greatly appreciate. The steps up to the rental were a bit of a challenge while we were unloading our luggage so if you have any issues with steps, this might not be for you. We did have some spotty internet throughout our stay, but wasn't terrible as we barely needed access to it. The wall of doors that lead out to the veranda had a few issues staying closed and we FINALLY figured out the correct way to lock them on our last night (Lift up the handle while locking). There is one parking space reserved for the rental, but parking spots on Mallery Street are usually available in case you need to bring more than one vehicle. Overall a very modern, clean and SPACIOUS rental with a few hiccups that were resolved quickly. It is quite a gem for it's location and I would highly recommend!
