We recently enjoyed a wonderful relaxing month long stay at this charming beach cottage in Vero Beach. The location was incredibly convenient with only a short drive to beaches, shops, and restaurants. Arrival and check-in were super easy and totally stress-free. It was well maintained and stocked with everything at our fingertips. The private deck and fenced backyard was perfect for relaxing and a true paradise for our little yorkie. Communication with the host was exceptional. She was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She definitely made us feel at home. Everything about this cottage is warm and welcoming. We hope to stay here again!

Perfect location while waiting for our new home to be finished. Kay was very responsive in answering all my questions. The home we stayed in was spotless. Had a great fenced in backyard for our dog. Very comfortable, just what we needed. I would definitely recommend!

This was the PERFECT place to stay for a couple of months while we were awaiting the completion of our home being built. The neighborhood is beautiful! We enjoyed walking our dogs every morning! (And the air conditioner worked great the whole time during our summer stay!)
Kay was such a great host - very responsive and friendly! We appreciated the book that included things to do and nearby (VERY nearby) restaurants.

The owner responded promptly to our concerns.

This was a great cottage for a perfect 30 day stay. The location cannot be beat! Owners are very kind and answered any questions immediately. I would recommend any family or friend to stay here for a comfortable time.

The house… Attractive, tidy, comfortable, all appliances worked fine (the central A/C in particular), 3 ceiling fans, Smart TVs for streaming, many household products, kitchen fully stocked (as if we were staying in a house that's lived in), toilets good, water hot (although would prefer more shower pressure), fenced-in back yard with deck includes large propane grill, table, chairs, umbrella. No complaints. Owner Kay replied quickly to queries and requests, was pleasant and accommodating.
The neighborhood… Modest houses, well kept with some exceptions, neighbors quiet, safe, lots of greenery, interesting back alleys, nearby small airport and active train tracks (not a bother). More upscale neighborhoods nearby, west on 23rd St past the creek and east beyond the tracks. Amazing number of attractive churches for such a small area, by design attributed to the town's founder back in the day. St Helen and the Community Church, each taking up an entire square block, are especially impressive, the latter hosting a symphony that we attended. And a surprising treat during our last weekend: a 3-day airshow featuring the Blue Angels, just a 5 minute walk to the airport's south perimeter.
The old town… Pleasant, just a 5 minute walk to active Main St. Restaurants, cafes, art galleries, antiques, convenience stores. Don't miss Kilted Mermaid, Fish Shack, Coffee House 1420, Rio Coco Café, Taco Dive. The town hosts a block party on the last Friday of the month. It was nice with live music, some food, and a number of booths
Nearby… This is a great location for many nearby activities and shopping. Within 5-10 minutes drive: Publix, Fresh Market, gourmet markets (Ryder's, Village Beach), dog stores, banks. Just across the Barber Bridge: Terrific city dog park, City Marina (rent a boat from Adam at Vero Beach Rental Boats) to tour the lagoon and its spoil islands), large Riverside Park along the Intracoastal, with Art Museum, Theatre, Veteran's Memorial Island Sanctuary, fishing, and kayaking. While here in April it hosted an impressive orchid market. Another 5 minutes along Beachland Blvd is Ocean Drive along the beach with many restaurants (the iconic Ocean Grill), Driftwood Resort and Waldo's restaurant, boutique shops, hotels, great farmer's market (Saturday mornings). Back on the mainland it's Indian River Lagoon Greenway (dog friendly trails), inland from the rental to Peterson Groves roadside market, and a short drive south to McKee Botanical Gardens. A

Nice bedrooms tastefully decorated with a living room very well furnished including an ornate desk for your computer and a small kitchen with all you need as well as a dining room and two bathrooms. The washer and dryer work well and the deck in the back is a great place to read your book in the morning or late afternoon.. Plenty of ceiling fans. A short walk to the old town with several restaurants... our favorite was Vero Prime excellent food and drink. A short drive takes you to the beach side of Vero. On the beach is one of the finest sea food restaurants in Florida, Oceanside Grill. The Citron Bistro is on A1A north of the Ocean Grill and has a great place for lunch. Some nice shopping can be had at the east end of Vero on 60 toward the beach. As Kay for some options to expand the TV service.

If you are looking for a clean and well stocked rental, this is it. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there. We stayed for a month while our house was being completed, and it was perfect. The owner was very responsive to a couple of questions, and I fell in love with the Dyson for easy cleaning and bought one for our new house.

The Owner was out of town. The Inside daytime temperature was always over 83 degrees during the day despite out running set point of 75 degrees 24-7. The Owner had me accommodate seven Technician visits to the house to attempt to correct the issue. All were unsuccessful. This amounted to a week out of my planned daily activities during our one month stay. The back yard, although enclosed for my pet's use and security, was overgrown and proved to be unusable. The drains, in the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink, are very slow and on the verge of clogging. The gas grill needed gas. The owner did replace this tank. The house has six doors of which three are french doors combos. The weatherstripping and bug security on these doors, at the bottom where both doors meet, were inadequate to prevent bugs from entering. Nice quaint house in a semi-rugged neighborhood( drug/Alcohol used in the back alley by neighborhood residents) that needs some love.

This charming small house is located in a quiet tree-lined neighborhood that is a close walk to downtown. From pot holders to beach chairs the house comes with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The nearby historic area of Old Vero Beach is the bohemian art gallery district. There are many clothing boutiques as well as vintage consignment furniture shops. The storefronts and facades have been restored in pretty pastel colors and mosaics. The Art Deco public buildings and green spaces are stunning.
In addition to the well-equipped kitchen there's a barbeque grille and patio table and chairs on the deck. If you don't want to cook, downtown Vero has a lively restaurant scene with varied cuisines and price ranges. All are within walking distance of the rental.

What this property lacked in curb appeal was more than offset by the quaint accommodations. Everything needed was supplied. My wife was impressed with the amount and quality of kitchen supplies. Communication with the owners was easy and reliable.
The property was located in Downtown Vero with access to historic and trendy “Main Street”. Just a 10 minute drive to the main beaches.
We enjoyed our one month stay very much.

We loved the house, just right for our dog and us. Walking distance to the many great restaurants and art stores in old Veto Beach. Five minute drive to Publix and Fresh Market. Ten minutes to the ocean. Kay and Roger are very responsive owners.

This is a super cute cottage in downtown Vero Beach. It was perfect for us and our two dogs. Both bedrooms have doors that lead right out onto the back deck and backyard. Very convenient if you have dogs! The house was spotless, and had every convenience you could want. The location is a short walk to downtown Vero Beach, and the neighborhood is perfect for long walks and checking out all the old cottages and bungalows. This house is a great place to stay and the host was responsive when we had any questions/issues. Enjoy!!

This property is in a nice residential area. The house was very clean and neat as well as convenient to everything in Vero Beach and surrounding areas. The outside was well cared for as the yard was mowed and trimmed two times in the month that we were there. The owner was very accommodating, especially when I asked her if a couple small open areas of the fence in the back could be fixed so that our little Shih Tzu could enjoy some freedom without us being concerned that she would get out. Don’t hesitate to book your stay. You’ll be glad you did.

This was the perfect place for us to escape from the harsh WI winter. We stayed 3 months, able to telecommute for work. The location is great, access to all essentials. Highly recommend this as a vacation rental or means to escape winter weather.

I can't say enough good things about the owners of this property. Kay and Roger were committed to making sure I had everything I needed to make my vacation enjoyable. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My two Boxers and I loved this place.
