About this apartment rental
Studio Apartment with private deck that provides direct access to Lake Dunmore and views of Mt. Moosalamoo. Perfect for 2 adults. Full kitchen, bathroom with Large shower, Private Deck with gas grill, LED SmartTV and WiFi. Beach area and Marina with boat rentals, Camp Store and Paddler's Pub on property. You also have access to our Hiking Trails on Sunset Hill, with great views of Lake Dunmore & Moosalamoo to the East and the ADK's to the West. Just 10 miles North to Middlebury and 9 miles South to Brandon.

The Cabana was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you could want while staying at the lake. The hosts were very responsive, and the property as a while was great. There is a pub with decent food and drinks options within walking distance, as well as a camp store if you need any snacks or firewood for the firepit. The beach and surrounding area were clean, and the neighborhood overall was very quiet when compared to other lakeside offerings. I highly recommend this rental.

My husband and our two dogs enjoyed our stay at the Cabana at Waterhouses Marina very much. The place was clean and comfortable and we loved the private deck with the view of the water. Our only problem was that the TV didn't seem to work and we couldn't figure it out - perhaps including instructions to the TV in the book would be helpful. We also suggest that you offer complimentary coffee and creamer along with the coffeemaker that is available in the full kitchen. Otherwise, we have no complaints! We also recommend the trails at the back end of the campground across the road. Wonderful hike and views! We hope to return later this summer or fall.

This place was just what we were looking for! The area is beautiful and it’s perfect for a weekend trip. The hosts were gracious and hospitable and easy to get in touch with if necessary. We’ll definitely try to come back!

Bucolic lakeside location! Enjoyed the gorgeous Fall weather while watching the Vermont Cup right out our door yesterday. Only minutes to Middlebury College, hiking and restaurants. Very easy check-in process and owners are responsive and friendly. Great stay!

Once again, enjoyed a great weekend in VT on Lake Dunmore. The cabana is perfect for two and has everything you need for a weekend away.

This place is very easy to find and right on the water. The cabin is small, cozy, and clean. The check in and check out process was very straightforward and easy. Overall this is a great spot for a quick weekend getaway and I would definitely return to this place.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay here. The Cabana had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, no frills. The proximity to the beach and The Pub at Waterhouses was a plus. Enjoyable evenings around the fire pit and a spacious deck looking out on the small marina. The AC was an added bonus dealing with the August heat. A great escape during the day to cool down and we slept comfortable and cool every night. It's not a big space inside but it suited us. I would rent this again.

Great access to lake and hiking trails. Slightly busy area due to location near campground headquarters. Comfortable bed and outdoor deck. Great view of lake and mountains.
Could use a few more places to hang up clothes, jackets, and we things. Need more spoons in the kitchen.

Great little place on the lake
We spent about a week here. Perfect spot for exploring the region, right on lake Dunmore, great views, easy access to the beach, boat launch and small grocery. We loved our stay and plan to return soon!

Lake Dunmore cabana
Lake Dunmore is beautiful and peaceful. We had a terrific view of the lake. The studio had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful.

Great spot for a weekend stay with gorgeous views
This property worked out great for a weekend stay for my husband and I. The views were great and we enjoyed having coffee on the private deck out back. This place had everything we needed! This was much better than staying in a hotel for the wedding we were in town for!
