This was our first stay at a VRBO and OMG doesn’t do it justice. The pictures of the cabin do a great job showing the cabin but it can’t describe the feeling. From the moment we walked in it felt like a home away from home. The smells and feelings you get when walking in are absolutely amazing. We will be returning in the winter so we can take full advantage of the hot tub. Well done and thanks for allowing us to experience the little slice of heaven you have on your farm.

The stay at the cabin was just what we were looking for. The Campbell's were excellent hosts. The cabin was very secluded and had everything you needed.

This beautiful place is clean and spotless, rustic and updated and a quiet place to rejuvenate. We are thankful to be able to visit and will definitely go back!

The cabin was absolutely adorable. It was clean, well appointed and private. It was our first visit, but it won’t be our last. Loved viewing the wildlife from the rocking chairs on the front porch. The owners were pleasant and accessible.

Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful, clean, and our hosts were very accommodating and kind. The atmosphere was just what we needed to relax and reconnect. The hot tub was an added bonus on an already fantastic experience.

This is our 2nd time staying here. We love the Quaint and quite place with a view.

George and I spent our Honeymoon at this lovely cabin. It was better an anticipated (which was a lot) and the peacefulness and serenity of this place was amazing. I can't wait to come back. The wild life, the birds singing, and gently rain on the roof top was better than I can imagine. We saw: star mountain, safari park zoo, D-Day Memorial, and the Liberty Station restaurant was one of our favorite places! Can't wait to come back and let time stand still. If you've ever stayed here, you know exactly what I'm saying.

This place is magical! We saw fireflies when we arrived, and it was a beautiful way to be welcomed to this magical place. Clean, cozy, and located on lovely grounds; we felt like we were in a wonderland. Every need was anticipated by the owners, and their thoughtful details meant we had everything we needed. Very kind, responsive, and friendly owners. They were always a text away, but we had complete privacy the whole stay, which is just what we wanted. We would love to stay here again!

Just what I was looking for. The cabin is beautiful, clean and very relaxing.

The moment we turned on the Campbell's property...we relaxed. When we came around the pond and the cabin came into view....we knew our weekend was going to be amazing. Brian and I are very big into hiking and having a comfortable and clean "home" to return to after a long hike is very important to us. We both would like this opportunity to thank the Campbell Family for the use of their beautiful cabin.

This was our end stay at the Lazy Creek Cabin so we knew what to expect. The hosts are amazing, friendly, and prompt. The cabin was spotless and surpassed our expectations once again. The hot tub was a huge hit on the cool nights of our stay. 10/10 recommend! Thank you!

Everything about this place was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Insanely peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was great after a long drive and hiking. No need to bring groceries or alcohol as there are a couple of grocery stores and an ABC store within a 10-15 minute drive. If you want fresh steaks they have them for sale as well. We will absolutely be back!!!

The cottage was clean, quaint, and private. I wish I had more time to spend enjoying the the surrounding area. Two days of peace, healthy eating, and personal space was fantastic.

We had a wonderful time. It was the perfect place to get away and do nothing but relax. We would highly recommend.

What a nice way to spend 2 nights between Asheville and Wash DC. Quiet, relaxing, comfortable and clean. Jane & Jim take great pride in having their visitors enjoy their stay and do whatever they can to make sure that happens. Plus, we bought filet mignon from their farm and cooked them the following night. So delicious!!! Anyone looking for an escape from the real world would enjoy this!!

We have been to a lot of cabins and this one is the high mark for - well - everything that one expects in a romantic cozy getaway retreat. Clean, well-stocked, tastefully decorated (I don’t mind kitschy but sometimes tasteful is nice). Private, secluded and a sparkling clean hot tub. We were wowed and cannot wait to return.

This is our second stay at Lazy Creek Cabin... to celebrate our anniversary! (22 years) and we really enjoyed our stay! We are looking forward to our next visit. We went to Liberty Station, in Bedford, and enjoyed a great meal! We highly recommend you treat yourself to a fantastic cabin!!!!

Very cool place for a couple! With everything you need to stay away from people and the city. We enjoyed every single moment of our trip.

Beautiful property. Quiet. Hot was amazing. Really enjoyed being able to just relax and enjoy the weekend.

We hit a bit of traffic on way so arrived late at night, and even still had little difficulty finding place, directions were spit on, check-in and out was effortless.. we woke up to the sound of birds and sun rising over the mountains right out the front door, coffee on the porch in the morning was such a peaceful start to our days and the hot tub was wonderful after the mile hike at natural bridge state park. Completely secluded and were not bothered once during our stay, its a great spot for any couoles looking for some alone time in nature

Memorable!

The cabin was extremely clean, supporting a unique and beautifully designed interior of warmth and comfort. Great relaxing place to come to after a day of activities in the Bedford / Roanoke areas. Time added in the hot tub afterwards made for a wonderful day's end. Can't say enough gracious things about the owners, too. They go out of their way to ensure an.enjoyable stay. Will definitely go again. Give them 6 stars.

This was our second stay at The Lazy Creek Cabin and we very much enjoyed our stay in this adorable little cabin tucked away in the beautiful and majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. This is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The views are spectacular, and the cabin has all the amenities you need and more to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. We appreciateJim and Jane's hospitality and will definitely be returning!

This is a great little cabin for couples - hosts Jim and Jane have thought of everything from firewood for the pit to a heater in the bathroom! They weren't kidding when they said all you need to buy/bring was ourselves and food. The hot tub was perfect and we enjoyed grilling out and enjoying wine on the deck. The dual recliner was comfortable and very welcome after pushing ourselves on some hiking trails. We also saw a few deer and birds and enjoyed having morning coffee on the deck in the rocking chairs. We'll def be back!

We traveled for a hiking trip and enjoyed some quiet time on the farm. The kitchen was well stocked and Hot tub was great. There were great views of cow pastures and the mountains.

This is our 4th time at the Cabin. We absolutely love the weekend we get to go. We have 4 children so this is beyond relaxing and enjoyable. We like taking a 20 minute drive to Roanoke and finding some nice places to eat and watch a game. SML isn't far either so it really has options if you want to get out and venture some. The hot tub is amazing and we look forward to this trip every year. Jim and Jane do a great job and so easy to work with. Love this place.
