About this house rental
Private house that was completely renovated in 2020. We are following all recommended cleaning processes.
Book with confidence, based on over 200 five-star reviews on my 4-VRBO properties.

This recently renovated one-level house with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths is located in a quiet part of coastal South Oceanside. It is just blocks from a local beach and many restaurants/shops. Conveniently located just 5 minutes from highway 5, it is the perfect location whether you want to enjoy the beach area, or visit major attractions including the Zoo, Seaworld, Legoland, or even Disneyland.
As you enter the house, you will see an open floor design, with the main sitting area, kitchen, and dinning area all together . The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, blender, and let's not forget about the wine-opener! The family room has a comfortable sitting area with a 60 inch smart (Roku) TV, with all standard cable/ local channels with DVR capability. Free hi-speed Wi-Fi is also provided .
You can take advantage of the great year-round weather the area is known for on your private patio which includes a gas grill, outside furniture and two lounge chairs.
Two bedrooms have queen beds, while a third smaller bedroom has a full sized bed. Two full sized bathrooms, both with newly tiled stall showers, are available from all rooms (soap, shampoo provided). Sorry, no bathtubs. Fresh linens and towels are provided as well as a hair dryer. In case you need to do any wash, the house has a large washer and dryer and detergent is also provided.
To make sure you are comfortable, the renovations included central A/C. Although the beach areas are known for their moderate temps, hot weather can occur anytime of the year. Even during the winter!
Large vehicals over 17 feet long will not fit into garage, and free street parking would have to be used. Typically spots can be found within a 1.5 blocks. Standard size SUVs will fit.
Since mostly locals live on the block, there typcially is a close parking spot on the street close to the house. There is also a dedicated parking spot in a garage on the back of the property which is shared with another rental.
No vacation is complete without taking a short walk to the popular Buccaneer Beach to see the sunset or perhaps to take advantage of the park which has a great playground for children. If you go before noon (2pm on weekends) you have to visit “The Buccaneer Cafe” located just across the street from Buccaneer beach (PS - try the Loco Moco or award winning cheese burgers).
If you just want to relax on the beach, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, a beach cart, and kids sand toys are provided.
Two beach bike are provided, and upon request additional bikes including a child's bike, may be available (we do not provide helmets and it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to ride without a helmet so please bring one if needed).
On Thursdays, you should plan on visiting the Oceanside Farmers Market.
If there is a need for more than the small local shops, you can take a short 10 min drive to the “Carlsbad Outlet Mall”, or “The Forum Shops” located in nearby Encinitas.
FYI, a small local market called “Primos” (very famous with the locals), is located just a few blocks away. You will be shocked to find they happen to have a great fresh meat counter in the back part of the store!
For those with babies, I can provide a pack 'n play and booster seat if requested.
Beaware that the train runs close to the beach in Oceanside and you will hear the train whistle. It has not been a problem as you can see from the reviews.

We were very happy with our stay, the house was beautiful inside, and out. The neighborhood was quiet and also beautiful. Warren was very friendly, and easy to reach. We would definitely love to stay at this property again.

This beach house rental exceeded our expectations! The location is great, just a couple blocks from the beach, food and shops. The house is clean and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway!

We stayed at this property (family of 4) for two weeks. Even though we didn't need anything, the manager reached out to make sure we were comfortable. Everything in the house worked well and was tidy when we arrived. Had a great time driving to some of the beaches nearby!

We appreciated that the host was very thorough and prompt with responses and background information. We enjoyed a wonderful stay in a clean spacious home with great attention to detail. The location allows a quick walk to the beach, Primo Market for groceries and Mexican food, a variety of restaurants and coffee shops, and even easy access to downtown Carlsbad and Oceanside. We especially enjoyed some of the new restaurants in the nearbyFreeman Collective-Little Fox Collective, Tanners Prime Collective and Heritage Brewing and Barbecue. Wish we’d had time to try the bakery as their pastries looked tasty too! Coffee and acai bowls at Buccaneer Beach Cafe were a morning favorite with views of the beach across the street. Hope to return some day!

Very roomy with 2 bathrooms. Walking distance to ocean. Very quick response to any question. Cute and quiet back yard. 3 bedrooms was perfect for our little group. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels and amenities. I left a necklace behind and it was located and shipped to me!!!!

This bungalow was perfect for our holiday weekend getaway. The location was great and convenient to anything and everything. The neighborhood was in a nice area and quiet.
There was plenty of room for all of us in the bungalow. Everything was clean and in great shape. The appliances in the kitchen were nice and it was well stocked for us to make breakfast before we headed out for the day. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of closet and drawer space. The internet was strong.
Communication was informative before arrival and during. Everything we needed to know was in emails and in the pamphlet in the house. Warren has everything set up for you perfectly so you don't have to request anything. But if you do need anything, he's readily available. Overall, no issues and a good value for our group. We would love to stay here on our next visit so we can go to the beach.

The owner gave terrific directions. The property was perfect for a stay with grandma. The farmer sink was the perfect bathtub for the little ones. The fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogg and the 3 year old to play. A grassed area and paved area with comfortable patio furniture. The three year old loved pretend play outside. I brought my doggies bed and she enjoyed her stay and didn't want to leave. I wish I had more time at this house with my grandbabies and doggie. The neighborhood was friendly, quiet and clean. The PrimoMarket was terrific and had everything necessary within walking distance.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and loved being here! Felt like we lived here! Great space and wonderful landscaping! The rose bush by the front door provided excellent smells upon entering the home!! Loved the floor plan and the blue light fixtures in the kitchen are beautiful💙

This was our first time staying in South Oceanside. The property is impeccably clean and conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and local breweries. The kitchen is well-appointed and the rooms are spacious. My vehicle (Toyota Tundra) was slightly too long for the garage but we had no issues with on-street parking, which was actually more convenient during unloading of luggage and groceries. When we plan our next visit to California, this place will be at the top of our list.

Came down to participate in an annual cycling event - Bike the Coast. I reserved this perfect quaint home for it's location to the starting point. It had all the conveniences three ladies needed (especially a lot of TP)! Appreciated having garage to park in. Good communication with host:) Coffee a walk away and a brewery too. Oceanside pier is north less than 2 miles, makes for a good walk and calorie burning;) Always a lot to do and see, places to eat or just relax. This home is one to keep on the list for future Oceanside visits. Thumbs up!

This is our second time renting this wonderful house. We stayed two weeks and enjoyed exploring the area. House is very clean and well stocked. Easy check in process. Our dog loved the cute back yard.

This property was top notch. Great neighborhood. Always found parking on the street which is much more convenient than the garage in the alley. Property is well maintained and cleaned. We walked 5 mins to a vintage market, coffee shop, brewery, and 2 pizza places, and we drove to the Del Mar dog beach every day (20-minute drive). We loved the location and Warren was very responsive. Can’t wait to go back!

The washer and drier really make laundry a snap and we really felt like it was like coming home after each daily outing.

The local beach access is a short walk away, and the vibe of South Oceanside way less uppity than Encinitas or other, wealthier coastal towns. We'll definitely be booking again to recharge another time soon, now that we've got the lay of the land.
