Walk the beautiful hardwood floors and watch the sunset from the over-sized rear porch. Minutes' walk on a sand road to the quiet seven-mile beach. This beach is perfect for swimming or collecting seashells. You have to travel far in this world to find a beach like this.
Turtle Landing has an open floor plan and comes with all the trimmings. Perfect for a family or friends to enjoy a stay at Palm Island. House has cathedral ceiling, large yard and a nice private pool & spa. Out the back porch is a long dock that is great for fishing, kayaking or swimming in Kettle Harbor. In the house, we offer streaming video and TV entertainment with YouTube TV, Netflick and Amazon.
Turtle Landing will leave you in the 'old Florida' style that you expect. Island is accessed by ferry which operates18 hours each day.
Driving time is one hour and fifteen minutes from Tampa, Florida.

The island is beautiful and the house was nice and met our needs. Amazing pool, much larger than others on the island. Dock was great for our boat. Had some issues at check in and with our golf cart, but Scott and Barbara were very responsive. They checked in with us and made sure we had what we needed. Scott was super nice and we were able to text him if we needed anything. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

Turtle Landing is terrific! This is our family’s second year staying at this property on Don Pedro. Turtle Landing is a terrific property - the house is well appointed inside and out. The pool and boat dock are key for family and are super nice at Turtle Landing. The home, yard, and all amenities are well cleaned and maintained. Clearly, the owner is very intentional about making sure guests are comfortable. Also, the owner is very responsive and is an overall pleasure to deal with.

The owner Scott was great to work with. He communicated frequently and answered all of our questions. The house is beautiful and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The back deck and the property was relaxing and so pretty. Having our own dock for our boat was fabulous..I did choose this house because it had a hot tub over some other houses, however, the hot tub wasn't heated all week. Scott did contact the pool guy, who did stop by more than once but it was still cold. The negative is we didn't like having to pay the ferry $55 for each vehicle and for our boat trailer each time we wanted to go anywhere. There is only 1 restaurant on the island and the food and service was awful. We had to leave the island and pay the ferry several times to get better food/groceries. The manager/owner may want to include the weekly ferry cost for future rentals I know some other rentals do.

Scott was great working with. Our favorite part of the house was the large lanai. Kitchen is small. Inside sitting area is not large. Furnishings are lovely. Many fans. Our grandson loved having his own “kids” room. Master bedroom/bath is lovely and large. If you have a boat be sure to check with Scott how to navigate the water way.
Pool was very nice. There is a lot of vegetation so it is hard to keep everything pristine. We like the greenery.

The home and property were outstanding. Quiet peaceful. The beaches were great. Golf cart was great to have. People on and around island were so nice. The island ferry was easy to use. Can’t wait to go back

Turtle Landing is by far the best vacation property I’ve ever rented. It’s a gorgeous house with a heavenly back yard. There is not only a fishing dock but a pool and lovely landscaping. The owner is very helpful and good at communicating. It’s clear that he loves the house and enjoys sharing it with others. Palm Island is peaceful and relaxing, a treasure in itself.

Love the outside spaces - very relaxing.
The lanai is so so big for many activities and accessible from the main rooms and 2 bedrooms.
And the house is lovely too.
Love the decor and the older real pine floors.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle Landing. The house was very clean and well maintained; it has all the amenities anyone could ever want! The pool was wonderful after a long day of sun on the Gulf. The boat dock was so accessible we even went out night fishing! Finally, the owner was extremely responsive and an overall pleasure. Highly recommended!

The house is perfect, well kept, kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy & the house was clean - that’s the basics! Then the extras - beach chairs, sand toys, the amazing pool, the dock & fishing cleaning station!!! But most importantly, Scott is the best host we have had in the 17 years that we’ve rented on the island. Very thoughtful in offering info on activities that were being held on the island, reminder of trash day & just being available to answer any questions. Perfect rental & vacation! Tina C

We had a great time at Turtle Landing!! Weather was sketchy but the kids stayed in the pool and on the huge porch. House is very airy and well appointed. Definitely would recommend.

Turtle Landing is our favorite place on the island. We come back year after year. Always clean and always has everything we need and more. Owner is so hospitable, an excellent communicator, and just overall very helpful.

Family Beach Vacation
Great Island Beach House! Lots of Ammenities including pool, dock, paddle board, kayaks, hot tub, fire pit, beach bikes, views. Scott was great to communicate with.

June Stay
We had a wonderful time at this property. Scott is incredibly helpful and very responsive. The house is wonderful. Having the dock to kayak off of and fish from was great. We also enjoyed watching the dolphin from the dock. It was a short golf cart/bike ride to the beach. The ocean was calm and beautiful. We rented a boat one day from Abe's and had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this property and hope we can return.

This was our second trip to Turtle Landing and everything was perfect. During our kayak trip (off the back dock), we had two manatees come play with us - absolutely amazing experience!

Paradise beach vacation
Lovely escape for the whole family on Palm Island. The house Turtle Landing is everything we hoped an more. Plenty of comfortable space for the kids and our 6 month old. We all were able to relax and enjoy the pool. The beautiful view of the waterway greeted us for breakfast on the porch. The beach was a short golf cart ride away. Loved everything there was to offer.

Wonderful Island Life
Turtle Landing is everything as described and more. Saltwater pool, quiet island setting, beautiful home, and minutes to pristine (not crowded!) beachfront. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot I can't think of any better setting!

Enjoyed our stay at Turtle Landing
The beach house was well equipped and the location was fantastic. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing right out the back in Kettle Harbor. Unfortunately, the water was a bit cold for good fishing, but we did have 2 fresh fish dinners. We walked or drove to the Beach access trails and were delighted to find shark's teeth on our many beach walks. We learned that the Palm Island Resort offers many activities, all for a fee. There is a 2 car garage filled with old bikes and the owner's golf cart, so cars stayed outside. If you want to be in an area with no commercial businesses (besides the Resort) and minimal traffic, then Palm Island is for you.

A little slice of tranquility
My husband and I and another couple, stayed at turtle bay. Both of us being parents of young children, we were looking for a quiet and peaceful escape and we found just that! The house had everything we needed from the pool to the kitchen, we didnt even need to leave if we didnt want to. But, having the golfcart (from Scott's suggestion), allowed us to ride around and explore this sweet little hidden gem. The resort for meals was great. And, while you need to bring chairs and towels, the beach was quiet and beautiful.
We also brought our boat, which we were able to dock right on property and the guys were able to go fishing every morning. And we could find different spots for lunch on other islands in the area.
Scott was phenomenal on communication and assisting with anything that we needed. He was very prompt as well. We even forgot an item and he went out of his way to see that it was returned to us.
Honestly, if you are looking for some fun family time with the kids or a peaceful time with friends, there is nowhere better than turtle bay!

Early holiday getaway
The property was as advertised. We used the dock to access the water with the onsite kayaks. We even got to kayak with the dolphins on several occasions. We used the bikes for several days, although rusty we got around. The space was great for our family of four and decorated nicely for Christmas. We also rented a golf cart to get around and feel that is a must. We ate at the resort on the island several times but felt like the food wasn't very good. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and time away. We flew into Punta Gorda and had a car service take us to the ferry and later back to the airport. Make sure you book that ahead of time as ubers and lyfts were hard to secure. Overall a great family vacation. Only gave it a 4 because the showers weren't clean, but that is really a reflection of housekeeping not homeowner. We did notify them and they responded quickly.

Beautiful and relaxing
The property is amazing; very nice and private! I visited the island with my three sons; 18, 16, & 11. There is definitely something for everyone. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The island is serene and very well kept. The pool is the perfect size, depth, and temp. The dock is perfect for hanging out or fishing. We saw a Dolphin in the bay. Scott was very responsive and helpful. He even humored me with a question about alligators (we never saw one; thank goodness). I cannot wait to book our next vacation at this property!

Amazing vacation
We had an amazing time on palm island and really enjoyed ourselves at turtle landing. Between the beach, the pool and fishing off the dock we couldn’t have had a better vacation anywhere else. Scott was very pleasant to deal with and truly has everything you would need in the home to accommodate your needs. One of our hi lights was playing monopoly with the kids and just slowing down and enjoying the moment.

Another great stay!
This was our second year on Don Pedro staying at Turtle Landing. Great rental! Enjoyed the private dock for our boat (no bridges), nice view, pool, and rented a golf cart again through Barbara, for a short ride to the beach. Love the secluded beaches here! Hope to come again!

Turtle Landing has become one of our favorite family vacations. Palm Island is nothing short of magical and Turtle Landing feels like home away from home.
So many things we love about this home: it’s always clean, spacious, private pool, has everything you need, and Scott is incredibly helpful. We’ve recommended Turtle Landing to many family and friends.

Relaxing Beach Retreat
We greatly enjoyed our time away and had everything we were looking for in a relaxing beach getaway. The home is spacious and clean, quiet surrounding. Slept like a baby every night and enjoyed fresh air by keeping the doors open throughout the day. We spent most of our time in the pool and rode the bikes to the beach later in the day. The heated outdoor shower is awesome. And the kids enjoyed a bit of Kayaking as well. The Owner briefly visited and was reassuring in case of any concerns.

Paradise
This place was simply perfect! We were looking for a 5 day getaway with friends and this was perfect! The house was clean and we loved the pool. The beach was beautiful and felt like you were on a private beach just for you and your friends. Scott was great and answered any questions quickly. We will definitely be back.

A+ Great Place, would stay absolutely stay here again
The Family (me, wife, kids 16 & 14) spent our spring break here and absolutely loved it. We were looking for a quiet place to spend time together and enjoy the beach and water; this place is it. There is no 'scene' no crowds, no traffic, just plenty of beach and water. We opted to stay off the beach and have a place with a pool and dock. This house was perfect for us. We rented a boat for most of the week and enjoyed doing day trips to different islands & fishing. Highly recommend Abe's Boat Rentals. The owner was very good on communication and checked on us during our stay. I would recommend this home to any of our friends.

Wonderful Visit.
We had a great visit to Turtle Landing. The property manager is very knowledgable and communicates quickly/clearly - so easy to work with. We really enjoyed the pool, fishing on the dock, and fire pit in the evenings. The screened in porch across the back of the house was fantastic - we slept with doors open most evenings! The public beach access is a short 3-4 minute drive - easy to access! The kitchen was equip with all basic items but only about 8 dinner plates, so depending on the size of your party, plan to run the dishwasher after ever meal or purchase paper plates to bring along. House had lots to keep guests (and children) entertained - bikes, sand toys, pool toys, games, etc. Everything appeared clean. My only complaint would be that things are a bit dated and could you some minor TLC to spruce things up a bit (things felt a bit worn/well loved). Overall, a wonderful rental and would recommend to anyone. If we ever visit Palm Island again, we would certainly come back to Turtle Landing.
