We were visiting from Hawaii to celebrate my husband's 50th. Thanks for the nice cozy place with a beautiful view. It has a central location to drive to all the places in the park. Leaving the spirit of aloha with this place!

We really like most everything about this house. The only issue that we noticed was that the online listing stated that it sleeps 6. There are only 3 actual beds; two queen sized beds and one single. We brought an inflatable bed so it worked out for us but it might be a problem for others.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crow's Nest. Not only was the house clean and comfortable, but the views of the water were breathtaking. Our host gave us excellent advice on where to eat, resources for hiking and activities in the national park and how to find parking for the ferry to Victoria. We had a wonderful time and hope to return.

The house was cozy and perfect for our family of four. You are just minutes from the town center and the Olympic National Park visitor center. You also have great views of the water and on a clear day can see Mount Baker. We will stay here again when we come back to the area.

No issues with property, access or management. Clean and comfortable.
Layout worked great for us with 2 teenage girls - there were 2 small rooms upstairs and they took those for themselves. We took the downstairs bedroom. The one small bathroom proved adequate for our trip with a little coordination.
Views were beautiful - big picture windows looking out over the strait. You could just barely see Victoria Canada on a clear day as you watched the ships go by.
Port Angeles has some decent restaurants and is located right where you want to be for Olympic National Park. The Hoh Rain Forest was a trek (2 hours) but Hurricane Ridge is nearby. This cottage was also a 5-minute drive from the ferry to Victoria. The day trip over to Victoria was a trip highlight. There is a Safeway 10 minutes away and a little convenience store/gourmet coffee shop (Higher Grounds) I'd recommend for all coffee shop things and light groceries less than a 15-minute walk away and a very short drive.
If you google earth the area, you'll see the lot across the street looks a little ragged. A defunct car, some assorted junk. It was fine. The neighborhood has a solid working class feel, not a sketchy feel. Turned out among the assorted stuff in the lot was a chicken coop and you could buy fresh eggs out of a stand next to the road on the honor system which was cool.

My husband and I love the PNW and visit the area yearly. We usually go to Orcas Island but decided to try something on the mainland. This cottage has all the amenities of home and is very comfortable. I enjoyed watching the sun come up from the Gazebo each morning.
Cute spot will keep on our list for a re-visit!

Charming cottage with a beautiful view of Ediz Hook and the harbor. Most of our needs were available in the house; it felt like home.
Great location convenient to Olympic Park and town.

I had a great stay and would definitely book again. The view is amazing! Even saw blacktail deer from the house at dusk one night. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to both exploring and getting into town easily.

Proximity to ONP is fabulous. View of the strait is great. We enjoyed our stay

Other than the musty smell that we covered up using lit candles in 2rooms, the Crow’s Nest is quaint, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and the view from living room is panoramic extraordinaire!

This is a great place to stay if you want to see the major attractions of Olympic National Park. You will still need to do some driving but this is about as close as you can get. The property was very comfortable and had everything that we could need. Just a note, the TV has cable but is not a smart TV so if you want to use streaming channels bring your Roku or Chromecast or similar items. This was not a need for us as we mostly hiked, ate at some of the nearby bars and restaurants, and just enjoyed the beautiful view of the water. We were really too tired after a day of hiking to do much but eat and go to bed. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Olympic National Park.

3rd bed/room is in between stairway and main upstairs bedroom with no privacy. Older mattresses with 3 inch foam topper should be replaced with new mattresses.
Ample kitchen wear, towels, and 3 parking spots make this a nice place to stay with a good view of the water and maritime activities.

My family and I had a wonderful time. The beautiful morning sun rise started the day off and the house is a short distance to all the fun restaurants in port Angeles. You can tell the owners try to make your stay wonderful.

Modest home w great view. Perfect for a couple or small family (1 small bathroom only). Neighborhood not so nice visually but we never had any issues or concerns

Gorgeous view and spectacular sunrises. Even though the house is located in a densely packed neighborhood it is quiet and private. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient to restaurants and stores and exploring Olympic National Park. We enjoyed returning home each evening to eat outside and watch the boats and cruise ships go by. Fireworks on July 4 were a special treat.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay in Port Angeles. The house was charming, very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well set up for food prep as needed. The view of the harbor was fantastic - we loved viewing the ships passing by and the opportunity to see Victoria across the Strait. In short the home suites our needs perfectly and we’d love to stay again should we return.

Cottage as pictured and described. Kitchen is well kitted out. Real people sized furniture although the cushion foam should be replaced. We’d absolutely stay again!

We had a great stay at the property. We loved the view of the water from the house. The location of the home was perfect for visiting Olympia national park. The home was very quaint and old-fashioned. We appreciated our stay and will remember it for years to come.

We wanted to celebrate our daughter's successful completion of her PhD defense at U Washington and chose Crow's Nest cottage. It is a comfortable location with great views of the breakwater and harbor. Lots of shipping traffic to watch as well as sailboats and other craft. The open dining and living areas plus the height this VRBO above the harbor ensured great views of all activity iincluding quite a few birds. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Spectacular water view and great locale in Pt. Angeles; we based here while visiting Olympic National Park and it was perfect when driving to 2 different sides of the park. Very close to town and amenities, quiet & peaceful. In need of some modern updates but had all we needed for a great stay.

Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the house. I would come back again.

Cute. Cozy. Perfect for two couples.
Upstairs mattress is good for one unless you comfortable meeting in the middle. The second couple ended up sleeping apart.

This was a perfect home base for our week long adventure to the Olympic National Park. The views of the Strait of San Juan de Fuca were spectacular from the living room and upstairs bedroom. We saw a plethora of wildlife including deer, bald eagles, quail, and many other birds. The house was very clean and cozy. Contactless entry made the whole process extremely easy. We will definitely be returning to the Crow's Nest!

We had packed days so we didn't spend much time at the property but it was great waking up to water views every morning. Hosts had quick communication

The place was pretty nice, great view, about 40min from hurricane ridge. Really cool spot.

We loved staying at the crow's nest! The backyard and views are even prettier in person--just lovely and peaceful. We really enjoyed the lived-in, vacation cottage vibe of the house as well as thoughtful touches (like filtered water faucet in the kitchen and the first aid kit--came in very handy when one of us took a tumble on a hike!). Would definitely come back.

Crow's Nest had an absolutely gorgeous view, but the property itself left a lot to be desired. The house has a very strong musty odor and was very difficult on our family members with allergies. There was mold on the shower curtain, and in general the home could benefit from a number of upgrades.
4.8
Pleasant house and yard with gorgeous views
4.8
The view is both beautiful and entertaining since it overlooks the Ediz Spit, the Coast Guard station and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
There is a gazebo, in the yard. It is a nice place to read or watch the many song birds and hummingbirds visiting the yard.
The house has a well appointed kitchen and many cozy places to lounge or play table games. It was a perfect place to enjoy our family meals and game nights.

We had an enjoyable three nights at crows nest. The property was very clean and the views were to die for! We would recommend to friends and family.

Perfect for 4th of July
We had a wonderful stay with access to all of the activities we had planned - Port Townsend, Forks, Tree of Life, Olympic National Park, and horseback riding in Sequim. We appreciated the games and the view. We were even able to watch the fireworks with a great view from the backyard. Thanks again!
