We stayed for a long weekend with friends, our group has 10 people. This cabin is a dated but it has plenty of space and was well stocked. The kids enjoyed the foosball table. Overall a great place to stay.

Great place fora larger group to hang out.Spacious, clean, very well equipped kitchen. If I’d have known all the stuff it had, we wouldn’t have had to drag some stuff from home. A very cozy place and easy to find. A beautiful setting with all the snow and falling snow most of the days we were there. Spacious kitchen. Easy for several people to work together.

The property description is accurate and this is a roomy, well-laid out cabin. It's well maintained and the kitchen is stocked. The movie room is awesome after a day of skiing! The property management company communicates well and is helpful. Close to Solitude and Brighton and highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this house with another family and our kids. Great location, kids loved the basement. It is an older house with older kitchen equipment etc. But everything worked and the management was quick to respond.

So, we had two families of 4 each (2 parents, 2 kids each) staying for a week to ski 4 different mountains over the Christmas/New Year holiday.
First off, the management company was very communicative and easy to contact, so that was great. The house is also very charming and is listed as sleeping 12.
The location is also perfect for both Brighton and Solitude, and an easy drive to Alta and Snowbird. The neighborhood is very nice, and the parking is super easy. But we did run into some issues that should be relatively easy to fix.
1) We consistently ran out of hot water after a few of us showered after skiing. There were 8 of us, the house is listed as 12. We made do by scheduling showers and waiting in-between showers, but a small annoyance.
2) Some of the sheets were not the right size for the beds. A small issue.
3) The grill catch pans have never been cleaned. Hard to see and typically not the job of renters. Thus, our expensive filets burned because the grease created small flames that were hard to control. Another small thing.
3) But the biggest issue is that the next guests checked in at night while we were still under our RSVP. Think about how unnerving it is to be in the woods, and have strangers walk into the house you are renting!! The next guests just had their dates wrong, and the management company was easy to contact for this issue. HOWEVER, this means that the door code isn't changed between guests. This is a HUGE security issue!!

The house was well stocked, the management was very responsive & the home was very comfortable for a large family gathering. The toys in the basement were a hit!

We liked it. Two families. Close to a restaurant and the slopes

The location close to skiing was great. The property manager was also great. The negative is the house is old and a lot of things in the house are not in great condition. There was no TV on the main floor or in the bedrooms. The only TV was an old projector in the basement. The house was reasonably priced for the area if you are looking for somewhere for a large party to stay. Just don't expect 5 star accommodations.

Beautiful
We had a good stay, the location of the cabin was good, we were able to take walks every evening, there's a little creek about 3 minutes away, the first night we were able to see a moose! And a couple deer would roam through the yard. We had a family of 9 and there were enough beds and space for all of us. Park city is a must and there are plenty of hiking trails close by. Not necessarily a negative but something to remember if your booking in the summer, there is no A/C (that we could find at least) so upstairs where 3 bedrooms are it gets a little warm. There is only one TV downstairs in the basement, not a bad thing just something different I've seen from other rentals. There are a few improvements, just updating some of the bedding/furniture. We did clean up a number of dead moths and other bugs (which is to be expected, we are in the forest) but the basement had a couple carpenter bees we had to capture and move outside, we barely went down there after that as the kids got a little freaked out. The cabin is walking distance from a restaurant with a great breakfast. But the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook also with a grill outside. I was very impressed with the communication, we received multiple emails prior to arriving with a ton of helpful inform and the property manager is quick to respond. There was a piano which was fun, the cabin is well stocked with books. We had a wonderful stay and made great family memories!

The 8 of us friends visited storm mountain to celebrate a birthday! It was perfectly located to solitude and brighten where we planned to snowboard/ski. The house had plenty of space and a perfect set up in the kitchen and bathroom with needed supplies! Communication with Carole was easy and responsive! Definitely ready to rebook here!

We had a blast at this place. Tons of room for lots of friends. The only downside was that the bunk beds weren't really suitable for adults, so two of our friends had to sleep on the couch. If those two pieces of furniture are improved, this place will be perfect.

Reviewer Comments:
It worked out, but the house is funky and outdated. Beds were terrible "marshmallow" beds. The entry hatch to the loft was left open and getting in and out was very sketchy. Of course the kids needed to explore it. The carpet didn't seem very clean and needed to be vacuumed better. The kitchen pots and pans did the job, but weren't great. The heat blew like crazy in the basement bathroom which was strange. By the last day we figured out that we had to open some windows during the day or the upstairs was too hot too sleep at night. Overall it was okay.

Great location and layout
Our family loved the stay but I was a nervous wreck the entire time because of the staircase. We had to block it with suitcases to prevent toddlers from climbing it. Wouldn’t be an issue is you don’t have small children. The game room and theater room were great. Well stocked kitchen. We loved the layout of the cabin but bedding and carpet was a bit stained and tired. The cabin itself was very clean but a few minor changes would have made it an even better experience. The deck also had exposed nails and boards loose which was nerve wracking with children.

I wanted my family to experience the grandeur of the peaks and to be immersed in the splendor of these mountains, and indeed that is what they drank up to the point of intoxication. This property provided the ideal environment for us, as well as being a delight for those who visited us as well. My only regret would be that we couldn't stay longer. You've nothing to fear with this group. They take excellent care of you!

Family Reunion at Perfect Venue!
My large family of siblings, partners and one adult son with his family all had a tremendous stay at Storm Mountain Escape. My other son was getting married up the road at Silver Fork Lodge, so he rented Bear Trap Lodge for his wedding party. My small grandchildren found the basement game room to be the perfect overflow area as it had toys and lots of floor space for their sleeping bags. Those who played piano played to their hearts' content. The kitchen space was perfect for a crowd and had everything one could ask for. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

We had such a great family time. We loved the theater room with its stage. The young ones made up plays and loved the many costumes. All of us loved doing karaoke together. The huge windows gave us a lovely view of the trees and mountain in daylight and the moon and stars at night. We also saw a deer come every evening for a little supper. We loved our time here and truly hated to leave.
