Only a few blocks from all of the shops on Queen Street, Lake Ontario, parks, and Fort George as well as a short drive to numerous wineries. Very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended.

We had a group of friends 55+ yrs old stay in this quaint home. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the ambiance of the older home with a collection of old furniture. The bathrooms are updated and clean and we all were very comfortable in our beds. Only a block from the main street with shops and restaurants. Would recommend this home to family and friends.

Wonderful family get together, loved the house and so close to everything, we left the cars parked and walked everywhere

For years our 4 couples have been going north in January for a weekend…as we have aged, we are finding we enjoy wineries and good restaurants more than slogging through snow….this has been a fantastic property as our base. Thank you for sharing…we well be back…

Great house for families. Lots of beds and bathrooms so it was great when traveling with 5 adults. Can't beat the location. A short walk to the main street, food and shops. There are lots of stairs so if you are disabled it may be hard to navigate. Having a washer and dryer were a real plus and the full kitchen was very helpful. Pretty much everything you would need was provided. Clean and centrally located. Wonderful atmosphere and very unique. Thanks for a great stay!

Basically right in town. A block from numerous restaurants and shops. Lots of space in the house.

This is a very nice home located only a short walk from the charming downtown and theaters. The neighborhood is filled with similar classic homes.
The house is surprisingly large with both porch and balcony areas, as well as four bedrooms and a sizeable family room. The bathrooms are updated with granite countertops. The house itself has the feel of a family home that you can stay in rather than one simply furnished to be let out.
There was room for at least three cars in the driveway. You won't need to drive to theaters or to many nice restaurants.
We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Governor’s Walk. There were 4 couples and we had plenty of room. It was so nice that everyone had their own bathroom.
The location is great. We walked around town and accessed the river trail easily.

We loved this home just a short walk away from the beautiful downtown area! Very comfy and well equipped. The outdoor decks would have been more enjoyable if they had been cleaned off of tree debris. Overall, a wonderful home with plenty of room!

This property was center located just steps from everything that matter in the small, beautiful town and few short blocks from the lake.
The dining and living room area has a great open space concept that makes family gathering and bonding with a group of family, easy and pleasant.
There is not much efficiency for outside bbq but still lovely with lots of outside terrace seating upstairs and downstairs.
Only negative is that there is no TV in the area where most people are likely to gather so o would suggest the owners consider adding a TV over the fireplace in n the living room/den area where the dining table is located as that would be helpful for kids as well. Otherwise great space and I would stay again!

We came for the weekend to celebrate my mum’s life. We lived in NOTL for several years, over 20 years ago, and this was a chance to return and remember my mum and spread her ashes on the parkway.

Great. Only problem was that the toilet off the kitchen plugged twice, but you had the plunger right next to the toilet and I was able to resolve the matter both times. Overall though an excellent experience.

Governor's Walk was perfect for our family escape to the Wine and Chocolate events at the wineries. The house provided 4 couples with comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The dining room/family room allowed for great dinners, games and even a murder mystery! We would love to come back when the weather encourages us to use the wonderful terrace! Great location - walking distance to town.

Our 4 couples have been doing something on a January weekend for almost 40 years. Mostly in Muskoka. Decided to change that up this year and do our “weekend” in NOTL in the middle of the week…we had a wonderful time, and the house was a perfect place for us to gather…We will be back …Thank you..

Property is very convenient and walkable to all of the main attractions in NOTL! Home is very nice and comfortable. Being the holiday season, the decorated Christmas tree was a homey touch! We would very much like to stay here again - maybe in summertime to enjoy the many porches! Very enjoyable weekend!

This house is very cute and quaint. There were 3 of us and each had our own bedroom and bath to spare. The kitchen is well outfitted. We didn't cook but you could easily make meals. It is a short walking distance to Queen St. and the Shaw Theater. I would stay here again. The bathrooms were clean and there was good water pressure.

Property is in a great location! Rooms were spacious. The house definitely needs to be updated. Furniture, especially the couches and cushions need a deep clean. The upstairs patio off the master is lovely! Needs some cobwebs removed.

This place is exactly what the property advertises and the reviews state. Beautiful roomy home with 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. Less than 2 blocks to shopping and restaurants. We had more fun staying in than going out. The great room is unbelievable.

Governor's Walk
Great location, easy walking access to all of the beautiful Old Town of Niagara on the Lake and particularly close to the Shaw Festival Theatre. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is very nice. The Dining Room / Living Room is both spacious and at the same time very cozy. Property management was very professional and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
