The beautiful fully equipped kitchen has easy access to the back deck and patio in the back yard. In the kitchen, there is a two person dining table and chairs that also makes a great work space. Just out the french doors is a petite patio perfect for morning coffee. I provide coffee, tea, creamer, home made banana bread and juice to start your stay with ease. Ideal for 1 or 2 persons. Access to the house washer and dryer on request.
-Full size kitchen with microwave, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, electric hot water kettle and toaster. If you prefer, there is a full size coffee pot and filters stored in the pantry. However, you will need to bring your own coffee for the drip coffee maker.
The studio is complete with everything you'll need for your stay. You're also welcome to enjoy the private fenced back yard. Guests can use the main house washer and dryer, just let me know. I provide laundry soap if you like Tide.
As much or as little as my guests would like. I'm always just a phone call or text away if you need me.
The Monteith District in Albany is home to many delightful turn of the century homes. Walking down the streets is like a visit to the past. This unit is walking distance to many downtown restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities. We're also located kitty corner from Albany General Hospital, making this an ideal location for traveling professionals.
Albany is located in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley, home to award winning Oregon wines. We're in very close proximity to many famous vineyards and wineries. And, of course, Oregon State University is just 11 miles away. For those wanting to venture further, the Oregon coast is about an hour and a half, but well worth the drive. The McKenzie River is about 40 miles south and has some of the most beautiful scenery ever! We really are in a terrific location, so close to so many of Oregon's riches.
My home is just a half block from the bus stop. The Linn Benton Loop Bus makes a loop from Albany to Corvallis and Oregon State University and back several times during the day, stopping at Linn Benton Community College. The schedule changes on weekends. Albany also has several taxi services available and most everything in town is within a ten minute radius.
The studio is on the ground floor with a living space above so footsteps above may be heard at times for the 'noise sensitive'. There is one old dog who lives in the main house but he is never in the studio. Allergy free.
Quiet time 9pm-6am
No pets
No open flame candles (the soot sticks to the walls and ceiling)
I am absolutely committed to providing a smoke free environment for my guests. For this reason, I insist on absolutely no smoking, vaping, 420, cigars, nothing. If you are a smoker, please do not book my unit. Failure to comply with these rules will result in your reservation being cancelled immediately with no refund for the remaining days. You will also be assessed a healthy cleaning fee.

What a wonderful spot near downtown Albany. The space was clean, well apportioned, and perfect for the weekend for my wife and me. We loved the small kitchen, the shower, and the comfortable bed. The owner was very gracious in letting us use her backyard table for us and our kids to enjoy a relaxed dinner made in the apartment.
I will definitely stay there again as we visit our son at OSU!

Comfortable, quiet, convenient
Stayed 6 nights and really enjoyed the property. Bed is very comfortable and the neighborhood is incredibly quiet, so we slept very well. It is near the hospital, so I was afraid there would be sirens, but we didn't hear even 1 in 6 nights. There is a light on the property next door that might bother people who need a very dark room to sleep. Bring eye shades. The quiet is worth it. Towels are thick and soft, shower is large. The unit is really well lit, a welcome change from dim hotel rooms. Especially enjoyed the parking space mere steps from the door. Lee Anne was great about communicating promptly. Would definitely stay here again.

Just plain awesome!
Everything was perfect from the get-go. Entry instructions were spot-on. Property was spotless. Bed was more than comfy. Walk to downtown for coffee, brew, or food. Oh, did I mention quiet? There was even yogurt, juice, and the best home-made banana-nut bread ever in the fridge. We only wished we had more time to stay in beautiful Oregon. Thanks so much!

This was a great studio apartment! The bed was comfortable, the towels thick and fluffy. The welcome banana bread was excellent. The Keurig was handy. The location is in a beautiful part of town where almost all of the houses were old, but well maintained.

A wonderful welcoming and quiet space! The decor was pleasing and comfortable.
Leanne made us feel so welcomed with fresh baked banana bread, yogurt and O.J. in the fridge and clean, soft sheets on the bed! The area of town is in Albany's historical district and our neighborhood was quiet and a great spot for a walk to dinner!
Thanks Leanne for making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed! We would love to come back soon!

Quiet, peaceful & just right.
This is a quiet, peaceful place to stay. It has everything we need and the neighboring area is low key and very pleasant. We travel to Oregon State University each day and the route there is rural and delightful passing through. Hope to stay here again next year.

Lovely Studio!
We were visiting the area for family weekend at OSU and had the nicest stay in this lovely studio. It was well appointed with everything we needed with a cute little kitchen and very comfortable bed. Lee Ann had delicious banana bread for us (as well as coffee, yogurt, etc) on our arrival. It couldn't have been nicer!

Lovely Cute Studio
Lee Ann was a great host, she left us coffee :D and a few nibbles for our first morning to get us started, and came and checked on us after we arrived. The house had all the basics you might need for cooking basic meals. There was ample seating to hang in and places for luggage etc. There was still AC in the place in case it got warm she had started before we arrived the first day. The shower was ceiling mounted and quite the treat.
Plenty of outlets for charging things etc. Probably best for 1 person but definitely accommodated the two of us just fine.
The neighborhood was quiet and not too far from the main road that went through Albany maybe 10 minutes from the freeway. There were sightseeing info and Lee Ann had some recommendations for us in town as well.

An absolute dream!
Nothing was left out. Lee Ann thought of everything for travelers starting with coffee, tea, creamer, juice, and fresh made banana bread to welcome us. The bed was more than comfortable, the outside patio a nice place to relax and the towels many have mentioned were so luxurious. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Wonderful place.
The property was charming, located in a lovely neighborhood where we enjoyed walking. The studio itself was adorable: cozy, comfortable and very nicely decorated. We had some issues with the handle/lock, but Lee Ann was right there to help and couldn't have been nicer. We're definitely booking this place for our next stay in Albany!

Adorable.....one can't even compare staying here to the hotel options availavble in Albany!
As our plane landed in a Portland that was experiencing its third day of temperatures over 90 degrees, my husband informed me that if this place didn't have air conditioning, he was going to bail and stay in a hotel. (Grrr) I looked back at the listing and saw that A/C wasn't listed under the amenities. (uh-oh) I can't tell you the relief we both felt upon entering the studio; there was blessed cool air circulating throughout. Because of the heatwave, Lee Ann had bought and installed an A/C unit for our stay! We became instant fans.
The unit, itself is well appointed and ultra charming. The location, superb for our needs: everything seemed to be less than 5 minutes away. But above all, we were the most impressed by - that act of kindness - the installation of an A/C unit for our comfort. It truly reflects the quality of her character.... 5 stars! We would highly recommend staying here to our friends.
We hope to be able to stay here every time we come to visit our family in Albany.
Thank you, Lee Ann!

Everything was perfect!
My daughter and I came down from Portland for the weekend to attend an event at OSU. Lee Anne's property was absolutely perfect - everything from the comfort of the space including ammenities, access to restaurants and the highway to OSU. Lee Anne came by to say hello and dropped off some nice treats to start our day.
Very clean and nice energy.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property!
