The property exceeded our expectations and we would definitely rent again. The home is very spacious and well maintained, easily fitting our two families (4 adults and 3 kids). Location is perfect within a very short drive or walk to Lake Sunapee State Beach (two family passes are provided), with Newbury harbor and other local attractions nearby. Aimee was communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We were very thankful to have found such a well appointed and spacious place to spend the long weekend. The whole family was very comfortable with 3 levels of space and the home owners were incredibly easy and kind to work with.

This is our second year renting Aimee and Bill's house on Lake Sunapee. The house was perfect for our family consisting of 6 adults. Ample room for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal or seek a quiet spot to read or work. Large, well-appointed kitchen as well as a large deck with grill and plenty of seating. We enjoyed daily use of the 2 kayaks and also hiking on Mt. Sunapee. Aimee is a super host and very responsive. We will most definitely be back!

This is a very good comfortable house with good sized rooms. The master bedroom is by itself upstairs and is huge! It gives privacy and such a comfortable room to relax or read in, or to just step away from the family for a bit of down time. The access to the private beach is a short 4-5 minute walk on a quiet road, or a shortcut through the woods, which was moist because we had a lot of rain. We kayaked quite a lot, and we’re able to just leave our kayaks safely on the beach, which was handy. We kayaked over to the Sunapee State Park, and sometimes just walked 10-15 minutes to it. It had a great playground for youngsters.

A lovely house with plenty of fun things to do! For poor weather days, there is a pool table, ping pong, foosball, and plenty of board games to pass the time. On gorgeous days the lake and mountains are right there, so hiking, kayaking, or just lounging by the beach are all perfect and easily available activities.
The house is a very private, remote area, but is also 20 minutes from anything you could possibly need.
Couldn't recommend more!

This is a super adorable little cottage. It was very close to the beach, we were able to just walk there. The hostess was very accommodating allowing a late checkout for us.

We enjoyed our stay at your house. The open floor plan was great when we had family over for dinner. My nephews had a great time playing pool and the youngest had a blast with the McDonalds play kitchen! The nearby state beach was a wonderful place to spend a day!

We rented this property for two months (Jan/Feb). It is well laid out, comfortable and, as others have said, well-stocked. We loved its proximity to Sunapee Mountain - a 3 minute drive. The foozball and pool table are a plus, as are the Guitar Hero and various board games. The owners were very nice and responsive. The house is a 5 min walk to a great sledding hill and 10 min walk to the lake, which is fun in the winter too! We would rent again.

We stayed there for a month as our new home was under construction. Aimee's home was lovely and within walking distance of the beach. The kitchen was great and the living area was light and roomy. There is also a pool table and foozball table downstairs, which was great too. The wrap around deck was really nice to spend a Sunday afternoon, and lotsa sun. A wonderful home.

The house was spacious and very comfortable; at one time, there were 6 adults and a baby. It was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location is ideal. It is secluded, yet near local attractions and close enough for day trips a little further away. While we were there, we went to Dartmouth and visited their art museum, hiked, went to the beach and visited an estate and gardens.
We did not use the community beach. Instead we opted to use the state beach, which did charge a fee.

We booked this place as we wanted to have friends stay with us, and the house was huge! It has lovely cathedral ceilings, a very well-stocked kitchen, comfortable lounging area upstairs and a fantastic game room downstairs. The bedrooms are all really big, the bathrooms were very clean the home had lovely views of the lake with lots of nice sunlight coming in. We very much enjoyed ourselves, thanks Aimee for your willingness to go the extra mile.

The house was very nice & conveniently located to the public beach at Lake Sunapee. This beach is magnificent. The surrounding areas offer many attractive activities. Wonderful restaurnts can be found in New London. We had 2 separate sets of children & grandchildren (a few days for each family) & they all enjoyed themselves tremendously.
While very well stocked for the most part, here are some minor additions that would be nice - pot holders, & dishtowels, We would also suggest that some minor exterior painting be done before the cold weather sets in.
If our schedule allows we would certainly consider renting your home next summer.

We enjoyed our stay in Newbury, despite a fair amount of late spring rain! We took advantage of all that the NH lakes region has to offer and kept ourselves busy indoors. The house was great for our party of all ages (we ranged from 62-2) and an old dog. The owners were responsive and helpful, and we're already talking about what a great place this would be during the ski season.

The house was wonderful. It was clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and roomy. The owners could not have been nicer. We reallly enjoyed our stay!

My family of five rented this home for a month in the summer and had a great time! The house was well stocked with anything we might have needed. The deck was perfect for a place to read or relax. The kids loved the pool and foosball tables, as well as the numerous games and puzzles provided by the owners. The fishing, swimming, and hiking in the area is top notch! Newbury, Sunapee Harbor, and New London all had great places to eat. The owners were great to work with and genuinely wanted us to have a good time. This house made for such a great vacation, we can't wait to come back!

I came here with two other workers to work on the local wind turbines and this house beat all my expectations! It is a very beautiful house with all the amenities that one could want. The wrap around balcony is great for outdoor bar-b-ques and just sitting and chatting with the neighbors or friends. The internet connection is very good and fast. The view of the lake is amazing, and there are alot of sights to see in the area if you have time. Convenient stores are close by for those last minute snacks or groceries. Last but not least is the scenery.... it is beginning to turn to fall and the foilage is absolutely beautiful! We have seen alot of wild turkeys in the area also. The neighbors and people in the area are very friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The housekeeper was very professional and did an excellent job! I would recommend this house for anyone who wanted to come to the Sunapee Lake area and see the sights!

The house was very pleasant and conveniently situated at the base of Mt Sunapee. Beautiful windows, bright kitchen and living room area. The owners were nice and accommodating. We had a lovely time!

We rented for 2 month...Jan/Feb '09. The home is in a very quiet woodland setting with a wooded view of the lake. We enjoyed x-country skiing on the lake on weekends and downhill skiing during the week. We loved being so close to the mountain. You are literally 2 minutes to the mountain. On Monday through Friday you could drive 2 minutes to parking lot #1 at Mt Sunapee, put your skis on and ski to the lift. It is almost like ski in/ ski out. We never went into the lodge! The home is a fairly new contemporary house with great windows, cathedral ceiling, nice new flooring, great open living space, well equipped kitchen, many linens, clean, a grill on the deck, lots of beds and space to handle large groups, a basement entry with lots of storage space for boots, skis, etc. with a pool table and foosball table(although unheated) , and very nice people to rent from! Thanks Aimee and Bill for sharing your house with us.
