Just out your back door, you will find a private boardwalk that leads you steps down to our pristine, white-sanded beaches. With your stay between March 1 and October 31 you'll receive complimentary beach chair service of one umbrella and two chairs.

The first floor welcomes you with an open-concept living area, a full kitchen, and a breakfast nook, along with a convenient laundry room equipped with two sets of washers and dryers. You'll enjoy easy access to the Gulf-front private pool and gas grill via the patio. Two inviting bedrooms on this floor include a queen bed with a private bathroom, and a king bed with a private bathroom.
On the second floor, discover a second kitchen and living area, a spacious dining room with seating for eight, and additional bar seating for five. Step onto the Gulf-front balcony to dine and relax while soaking in the stunning views. Two more bedrooms await, including Bedroom 3 with a queen bed and private bathroom featuring a shower, and Bedroom 4 with 2 sets of twin-over-full bunk beds and a desk area. If wanting to hop off the quaint communities that line 30A for a change of scenery, Destin, FL is only a short 40 minute drive to shopping & entertainment of all kinds. Panama City Beach, is only a short 15-minute drive to shopping, dining, and entertainment at Pier Park.

Hi,We enjoyed our week at the mirage. We have attached several pictures. While the interior was very nice and clean, the outside really needs some work. The paint is very weathered and many rusted areas. Including the outdoor light fixtures. The grill was not clean and we did not feel comfortable using it. Our master bedroom has mold/mildew on the walls by the tv and we experienced difficulty breathing. The toilet paper holder is about to fall off the wall. The shower was also moldy in many grout areas. The ants on the pool deck were everywhere. There is also a large wasp nest under the 2nd floor deck.The house is nice on the inside but the outside was very disappointing. We checked out of the Mirage last weekend (name of the property with Benchmark). We have some major complaints that I wanted to bring out relative to a $10,000+ dollar rental for 4 nights that I would have wanted to know and want others to know before they book a stay at this property. We had to go purchase things that have been standard at other rentals of this caliber in the past:Gym access wasn’t accurate and was listed on the property.No hand soap for washing - had to go purchase.Only 1 bath towel per person - hard to take showers after the beach with a wet towel.1 trash bags for the kitchen trash - had to go buy trash bags.No simple cooking items (cooking spray, salt / pepper, etc...) - another purchase.Only 2 dishwasher tablets for 4 nights. The trash in front of the house was never picked up during our time there. just be aware.Etc...I could go on, but staying here required bringing all household goods to a house we paid a lot to stay in. These all are simple items to provide...I hope this feedback is beneficial. if you are Uber bound this all becomes very expensive to go to the store for basics of your stay.

i loved it very much. stocked well. beautiful. functional. close to the beach. pool. but there is a leak somewhere in the upstairs that was fresh and flowing. the smell caused me to feel ill it was so strong. it was constant. it was actually kind of horrible. soooo if you are sensitive in the ENT to mold, mildew or damp smell this is not the place for you. i really wish i didn't have to type this last part.

This was a nice house although I felt a little pricey. Overall the house was in good shape but you can tell it's been used quite a bit. Floor in the kitchen needs some upkeep, icemaker in upstairs fridge didn't work (never got anyone to come and fix after a few requests) so we had to trek ice from the downstairs refrigerator. Lots of dishes and appliances in the kitchens. Rooms were nice - linens were in great shape and beds were comfortable. Pool was a nice size and a great place to cool off after a day at the beach. House comes with 8 beach chairs with umbrellas - all set up for you every day, that was really nice. Only negative were all the people alongside you - chair setups were on top of each other. House is next to a public access walkway but it wasn't a problem, attendants keep the public away from the private houses. Short bike ride away from Rosemary and Alys Beach. Overall, a good stay. Tired of the 30A house prices going up and up so this might be my last rental for awhile. Almost $20K for a week on the beach just doesn't seem worth it anymore.

The house is in a great location but the owner should really put some basic maintenance into the house during the off season. Simple things like paint, repairable equipment and grounds maintenance and you would have a much better house. The constant issues we had with the pool heater and the entire two day electrical project were a major inconvenience during our Spring Break week. Management was responsive after I got through the answering service but the issues we were having should have been noticed and fixed during the off season.

We really enjoyed our stay in The Mirage. Prepping food for our Thanksgiving feast was easy with the 2 kitchens.
The view of the Gulf was gorgeous and made food prepping extra enjoyable. There were more supplies in the kitchen than are listed on the website, such as: a small crock pot, toaster, a chopper, full size coffee pots in both kitchens, and other things I cannot recall.
It was a dream come true for me to have all my family under one roof. The Mirage accommodated all 4 families nicely!❤️💝

Our family had a wonderful vacation at The Mirage. Let's start with the positives. The view of the beach is unbeatable and access is literally steps away from the sand. The deck furniture was ample and comfortable. Lovely decor. The furniture in the living room was exceptional...huge sofa and a good number of comfortable chairs. Huge dining room table. The beds were comfortable. Loved having the chairs/umbrella service provided. The separate kitchen and living space on the lower level was nice especially having younger children in the group...our families were able to spread out (nice for early risers and night owls). The location to Rosemary and Alys Beach was a short bike ride away. This property would have received 5 stars had it not been for a few things... We reached out to Benchmark two times before our arrival and double confirmed that the pool would be heated. We know that the weather is cool in October and no one likes swimming in cold water. We got to the house and the request for the pool heat had slipped through the cracks. Benchmark was never able to come through with sending out anyone to turn on the pool heater because "only one third party company is assigned to this house" and we were not able to get on the third party's schedule during the 6 days we were there. This for us was beyond unacceptable! Certainly with all of hundreds of pools on 30a there should be a company that could be called in as a backup. Contrary to some other reviews, this house IS next to a public beach access. Our stay was over Fall Break so there were a lot of people coming and going on the public access next to the house...but it wasn't really enough to dampen our stay in any way. The overall condition of the house is slowly falling apart and is NOT being maintained. The house was not as clean as it should be (cobwebs, dirty ceiling fans, etc.). When paying top dollar for a property like this, it would have been nice to walk away feeling like EVERY penny spent was worth it.

We stayed at this location for a wedding and the location alone was worth every penny. Amazing backdrop and easy access to the beach made this trip one to remember. It was great having enough rooms and kitchen setups to handle all our family in one home. The few things I would suggest for improvements would be more ceiling fans (especially in the bedrooms) and for the rooms on the lowest level to have some kind of dressers for clothes storage. Other than that there was some wear and tear on the stairs to the beach but I imagine that's hard to upkeep in Florida weather. The house was clean and provided practically everything we needed. We would definitely stay at this property again.

This was the worst rental ever. For the price you’d expect the place to at least be cleaned, that was not the case. The pool was never cleaned. The house had no WiFi the entire trip. With no WiFi meant no tv. No WiFi also meant that the alarm didn’t work so the house was violating a crucial florida code for a home with a residential pool. Benchmark was a joke and offered a 500$ credit on a $11,500 stay. the home owner must be oblivious which is hard to believe seeing as how they own the other two homes right next to this one. RUN AWAY from benchmark.

This was our first large family vacation. We had 6 adults and 7 children (2-12 year olds and 9, 7, 6, 3, 1 year olds). The king size bed and queen bedrooms on the main floor were a little tight but the small living area and kitchen was perfect. A plus with 2 washers and dryers. The 1 and 3 year olds stayed in the king bedroom with their parents, they made it work. Each had its own bathroom, small but nice. Easy access to the pool and beach. The second floor bunk beds were perfect for the rest of the kids. Main kitchen and dining/living area nice with a beautiful ocean view. 3rd floor had great large bathroom and beautiful balcony view. The location was perfect, chairs and umbrellas were complimentary and set up each day on the beach front. I never used the backpack chairs I rented. The stairs to the beach could use some repairs. The beach area was beautiful, not packed. We rented 2- 6 seater golf carts, perfect for close restaurants and site-seeing. I would recommend this place, lovely location and access to the beach. It was very clean and the rental personnel very attentive and friendly.

We had a great time at The Mirage. The pool was great and beach access was phenomenal. Our only complaints were the balconies were not fully accessible to us due to some structural concerns that we were told would be fixed. However, the lumber wasn't delivered until we were leaving on our last day. Also, the listing said there was a pullout sofa bed on the second floor (which we needed) but it had been removed prior to our stay. Overall we had a great time. Fortunately, we are an easy going group and rolled with the flow. But be sure to ask lots of questions before you get there.

We booked the Mirage for our large group based solely on the fact that a HEATED POOL was advertised. I paid for the “heat” to be turned on in the pool at least two weeks out and made at least three calls prior to arriving regarding this. The pool was like ICE and a service person never came out. (We were given 2/3 differing stories when we called for resolution) Benchmark waited until I fussed to address the pool. We had 12 very disappointed guests. The dishwasher had NO HOT WATER so our dishes were a greasy mess during Thanksgiving We had to hand wash them (NOT FUN) while cooking for 12-15. The closet door in the downstairs king room was completely off and just thrown into the closet. THE LACK OF TOWELS WAS SO ANNOYING!!! We had 6 lil ones sharing bathrooms and had to wash towels daily. Imagine drying dishes w two flimsy dish towels? I will be asking for a partial refund because we were never given the chance to change our house and move closer to Rosemary Beach where we would have preferred to stay. In my opinion, if top prices are going to be charged, the house should have been in immaculate shape with everything working perfectly. The Mirage is a beautiful house but we will not stay there again because of all the issues. When I arrived back home and I called Benchmark to discuss all of this, I was told “ a manager will call you back by end of day / Monday”. I still have not heard from Benchmark management.

Fantastic location, near shopping and great restaurants. The pool could use some maintenance (heater not great) and updating, but being able to walk right out onto the beach is so worth it. The house was clean and well furnished and easily accommodated our family of 10 adults.

This was 40 here we rented from benchmark and we paid an additional 4000 hours for an improved house on the beach. This is a wonderful location, very close to Alys beach and not far to Rosemary. The private, direct beach access was so wonderful with kids. The pool is decent sized for the area. The beach area in front of this property is very private and there weren’t crowds of people. The house accommodated 3 families. The house, however, has been ran pretty hard this summer, it appeared. It definitely needs fixed up throughout, but it was very clean and met all of our needs, it just wasn’t the luxury we were used to from some other rental companies in the area. The dishwashers are horrible and both of them would not clean the dishes so that made for an annoying week in the kitchen. With some needed updates this place could be a 5 star property.

Great home for our family of 9; 3 levels with lowest level being a small stand alone 2 BR/2bath apartment. Middle floor has main kitchen and living, 2BR/2Baths, and 3rd floor is Master suite with private balcony. Here’s my PRO/CON list…PROS: spacious, beautiful, right on beach, nice views, clean, not sure about all TVs but main living tv had some live streaming networks and MBR had ability to log into personal streaming accounts, well stocked kitchen (see CON list), some beach items for use. CONS: 1. there was public walking access to the beach between this house and the one next door, so lots of foot traffic-no cars or parking lot. I believe it’s used for those who are staying in locations across the street. The only issue this truly makes for the house is busyness at the beach right in front of The Mirage. No one wants to lug all their stuff very far, so as soon as people get off the public access they are looking for a spot to be; so the beach right in front of the house was very busy each day (and we weren’t there at the busiest season); 2. The pool got really dirty after a storm and there wasn’t a polaris for cleaning dirt from the bottom, so we didn’t use the pool after the first day. 3. this really shouldn’t be an issue with a top-dollar per week home (and management should listen bc I’m not the first or even second to say it) towels…Benchmark says that their policy is to leave every guest 1 towel and 1 washcloth (which is fine if that’s how they want to do their business but it’s definitely not a gracious policy), however several in our party were NOT given a washcloth and the baby was not even given a towel. We also had no kitchen towels in the main kitchen.
Those are my only real cons. No house is perfect-especially one that lots of different people live in. When we left, the management team asked online if there was anything that needed repairing before the next guest arrived-which there were a couple of minor things. I appreciated that, because there is no way for them to know without living there themselves or being told.

Main complaint only 1 thin bath towel/washcloth per person, only 1 dish towel in kitchen, constant laundry. Pool needs deep clean/mold each end; beach steps need repair. For price expected better quality/cleanliness. Beautiful area & will treasure memories.

The rental was beautiful inside and out. Overall, our stay was great with two significant flaws. 1 - all of the ceiling fans are on the same frequency, so turning one on turns all the other ones on/off depending on what state they were already in. 2 - the TVs aren't intuitive and don't go directly to a local news channel. If you need information like flag status, tide conditions, etc. you'll need to look for them elsewhere. The house is located in between two flags, so you'll need to go down to the beach and walk a bit in either direction to check the flags in person.

The property needs a bit of touchup, but that could be ascribed to the fact it was up for sale, and indeed apparently during our stay there, it was sold or changed hands. Location is fantastic, plus the sunset views from the 3rd floor. It was well-equipped. Main problem encountered was the Internet going out while we were there, which necessitated some hours of work on my part, plus having Mediacom come in and fix it. During my work on the Internet, I found that a couple of the TVs in the house weren't even hooked up, which I took care of. The management company was pretty responsive, and they agreed to heat the pool for free (although I don't recall that we were supposed to pay for that - the ad said heated pool), in compensation for the problems with the Internet. Overall, we had a great week there.

Overall, our stay was great with two significant flaws. 1 - all of the ceiling fans are on the same frequency, so turning one on turns all the other ones on/off depending on what state they were already in. 2 - the TVs aren't intuitive and don't go directly to a local news channel. If you need information like flag status, tide conditions, etc. you'll need to look for them elsewhere. The house is located in between two flags, so you'll need to go down to the beach and walk a bit in either direction to check the flags in person.

Out trip was a gift to our 4 children for Christmas. We thought at one point it wasn’t going to happen with all the COVID-19 going on but it did and everyone was so ready to get out of town. The house was great and set up perfect for our families. It was in a great location and close enough for the teens to bike to the Hub in one direction and Rosemary the other. Loved having the pool and our private walkway down to the beach!

This newly updated home was one of my favorites I have rented on 30A. The kitchen, bathrooms, and living spaces are now modern and comfortable. Excellently stocked in the kitchen with a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. Having 2 fridges, 2 ovens, and 2 dishwashers is something unique and very useful. Lots of towels in the bathrooms. Bring a few board games for a rainy day. Mirage's location (easily bike to Alys / Rosemary and 10 minute car ride to Seaside) is ideal. Only a few private homes surround this rental, so the beach is not crowded and only 20 stairs away. The pool area was great for entertaining.We rented Bikes using our credit from Benchmark and we rented backpack beach chairs from The Rental Shop 30A - great experiences with both companies. The bedroom set up is nice for 4 couples or 2-3 families. The door in between the 2nd floor master and bunk room is very thin.Benchmark does a fantastic job responding to calls and email and any issue that arose were quickly handled. I appreciate that they do a walk through prior to your arrival which ensure everything is in place. I will rent from Benchmark again for our next trip to 30 A.

The Mirage is a wonderful house. The location was fabulous, beach front, right on 30A with bike trail. The house had been recently refurbished, plenty of room for everyone. Nice sized pool that was refreshing after a day on the beach. The pool needs a little attention, water feature was only half flowing. Had a problem with the oven in the main kitchen but management company replaced within a day. Good service from them. Our whole family was able to stay very comfortably in the house. Four separate couples and four young children-plenty of room for entertainment. The weather was great most of the week and the beach was pristine. Loved our t beach vacation and will return.

Only 2 non-positive comments: 1)unless you were on the top floor, the beach view is extremely limited. Not the water, but the beach. Difficult to view the other parties from the house. 2) The house is extremely nice, however there needs to be some minor repair work to keep it up: lower floor bathroom toilet paper holder hanging by a thread, critical need of general caulking and repair work, The king bed in downstairs room needs to be replaced with a smaller bed; getting around the room is difficult. Generally, all was good. The best part was the main floor porch, in that it was safe for our small children to run and play on. The weathered stairs to the beach had some screws sticking up that were a danger to bare feet and could cause a fall. The pool was wonderful (especially after we paid for it to be heated!!!) however, both ends were dirty on the bottom....didn't expect that would be the case.

Great house right on the beach!
We had a great stay at the Mirage. The pool and being right on the beach were perfect for our family trip. The kids went back and forth all day!
As other reviews have stated, there are a few general maintenance issues that need to be addressed like the water stains on the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom, but overall the house is clean.
The layout was perfect for our group of 11 and everyone had plenty of space! The location was also great being in close proximity to The Hub, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach.
I would definitely recommend this house!
