Foodie Heaven and Celeb Spotting
Atlantic Avenue, the main artery of the city, is becoming known as a restaurant haven across the country. The mile long stretch heading to the beach is lined with every kind of food you could want. The outdoor café style dining & palm tree lined avenue makes for a beautiful thoroughfare to stroll down tasting various cuisines, or stop and enjoy the people watching. Don’t be surprised to see local resident Kevin James or his buddy Adam Sandler enjoying a meal or checking out a boutique. The great restaurants filter into the side streets and other parts of town so don’t let your search for amazing food stop there.
The Arts District
If it’s culture you’re into, you don’t have to jet off to the big cities to get a dose of art or history. Delray Beach is home to Artist’s Alley, an incubator of homegrown artists creating and showcasing their art in the town in which they find their inspiration. See original pieces and meet the creators. If galleries are more your speed than slow down and take a look at the assortment of galleries tucked throughout the town. Get Your Culture On
Delray Beach has an interesting cultural history. We’ve stayed at this location before but a different unit. It is the perfect location. 1/2 to the beach and 1/2 block to the Ave. This unit was very clean. Space is perfect for 2 people. Loved that it had beach chairs and towels. We would definitely rent here again

Arrived after the check-in time and found a pile of used bed linens on the living room floor. Contacted manager (fortunately she answered!) and she moved us to a different unit. If she wasn't available this would have been pretty bad. After that, needed the parking pass which was promised but not on site. We parked on the street and fortunately we were not ticketed or towed. The parking pass and a couple of beach towels were left in our unit the next day. The kitchen was well-equipped and we liked the location, walking distance (through a parking lot) to the beach. With some attention to detail this would have gone more smoothly.

Older complex but clean and neat. We visited area after spring break so it was quieter. Could walk to almost everything we wanted to; beach, shopping and restaurants. We happened to be there for the big 3 day art fair. that was great!

From beginning to end we had a great time at The Grove. Accommodations were clean, cozy, comfortable and so close to the beach, restaurants on “The Ave” and all its charm and nightlife. The property manager was very responsive to our needs and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

We enjoy staying in The Grove. Our condo was clean, comfortable - easy to meet my goal of watching sunrise from the beach. We had no issues to discuss with Diane. One night a storm knocked out the power. Diane quickly communicated the timeframe to restore power. In a few minutes after the storm moved on, we watched the men climbing the poles. Delray is our favorite beachtown- we love walking to the great restaurants nearby.

Very pleasant accommodation near beach
The unit (12A) was very nicely appointed, spacious and comfortable. it is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The unit has low sitting sea chairs you can take to the beach. There is an umbrella, but not sure if it has a sand auger. Note: At the beach a private firm rents 2 loungers + set up umbrella for $16/hr or $60/day, so best to bring your own.
Remember to pull down the black cover on the box outside the front door to access the combination lock to get your keys.
The pool is clean and has two areas ( one with an umbrella)at either end that are in the shade after 2:00 pm. Ample lounges and chairs around the pool.
The grounds in front of the units are very pretty with tables, umbrellas and chairs. There is a BBQ area, and a laundry.
The property manager can easily be contacted and emails you before your arrival with all necessary instructions and her phone # and email.

Quiet, Classic , Old Florida Charm
Diane is a very professional and responsive host. Unit is spotless and stocked with well-edited kitchen and dining items. It has not undergone a soul-less renovation but doors and windows are new and furniture is new and comfortable. Very quiet, yet just blocks from excellent restaurants (both high-end and family friendly)… close to good bagels, pizza, ice cream…cute shops…and the gorgeous beach!

Everything came as advertised. The unit was clean and the Grove location can't be beat.
It was not a problem for us; but, the home owner should keep an eye on the refrigerator, as the compressor is a little noisy.

Diane is a Monster & Not Safe to Sleep
It went wrong from the start!
1.Key stolen from the open to the public, clear mailbox with no security cameras (there is no keyless entry to this apartment)
2. Property manager lacks professionalism, decorum & accountability.
3. Had to stay in a unit that was unsecured from 4pm Friday to 1pm Saturday
4. No face towels in unit at all. ( 2 hand towels & 2 bath towels)
5. There were dead roaches on the floor.
6. No mop, 3 garbage bags, no extra linen other than some dingy beach towels
7. Television didn't work from 4pm Friday- 1pm Saturday (nothing to do while I wait for the unit to be properly secured)
8. Dirty dishes in cabinets.
9. Apartment was if it had not been rented or cleaned for awhile.
10. One of the kitchen cabinets was broken.
When I arrived from the airport on Friday at 4pm there was no key in the clear, outdoor, open to public mailbox. The mailboxes are all numbered with the apartment numbers. The unit was 12 so the mailbox was clear with a black 12 on it. The instructions I received from Diane via email prior to my vacation was that the key would be in that mailbox. So, I immediately called Diane and notified her that I had arrived and could not access the apartment because there was no key in the box. Diane told me to look again because she knew the key was there because she put it there 4 hours prior. I informed her that I was in front of the clear box and there was no key. She then said she would be there in 5 minutes to see what was going on. 20 minutes later Diane arrived and took a look at the box to see there was no key in box number 12 nor any other box. She then told me in 30 years of her doing this she has never had a problem and she would have to refund me my money. I asked her did she have a spare key and she said no. I asked her could she get the locks changed. She said the owner was in Europe and she couldn't reach him and everything had to go through him. At that I point I called my sister from Fort Lauderdale because I was stranded. I then asked Diane again was she sure that she didn't have a spare key. She then said yes she had one right here! I was mortified with Diane at this point having me outside with her poor management and unprofessionalism. I then told Diane that having a stolen key out there was a liability and I wouldn't be able leave and the apartment was unsafe. She called the police and a locksmith came 1pm the NEXT day. I felt so unsafe my sister had to stay with me plus my plan were runied

My husband and I could not find one negative thing to say about our stay. So convenient to Everything; walking distance to beach; shopping; restaurants, especially the Sand Bar!!! Don't hesitate to rent; trust me; you will be very happy you did!!

Excellent location - walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Located in a quiet neighborhood.
Our unit was as advertised, small, clean and with all the essentials. The king bed is comfortable, good shower and living/dining area is fine for 2 people. The kitchen is small, we did not use the oven but microwave and frig were fine. The heated pool was a little warm for us - it's large and has a large deck with plenty of chairs. The outside area for our building is shared by 12 other units - it's grassy with tables and chairs - so not a lot of privacy but it was quiet for the most part. The owner was very responsive and our fellow guests were friendly.

Repeat visitor
We chose to stay here again because of the great location to beach and downtown (both 5-10 minutes away), with many restaurants and shops. The property mgr is very responsive. A plus for us is the inclusion of beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. We used grill this time. Bed is comfortable. 2 flat screen TVs and full kitchen (need to buy paper towels/some supplies, etc). We enjoyed the green grassy area with tables/chairs outside our room, with plenty of distancing from others.

Perfect in so many ways
This was an ideal property to choose, we couldn't be more happy with staying here. Location was perfect: close to beach and walking to restaurants/shops. There is a free trolley, too, but we did not use it. We did not even rent a car. Loved the small courtyard and the pool as well. Street is quiet which is amazing considering how close it is to everything. Unit was clean, very adequate, no issues. Only thing we missed was a small grocery store close by. It was nice to have the beach chairs,/umbrella/beach towels available for our stay.

Excellent location!
We came for a quick trip to enjoy the beach and visit family in the area. We couldn’t have been closer to the beach! There are tons of restaurants at walking distance. The area where the apartment is is quiet. The apartment has everything you would need for your stay. We entertained our family and were very comfortable. The instructions were clear for both check in and check out. We will be coming back!
