🥹 Location:
The house is located near downtown in the Ivywild of Colorado Springs, a friendly and historic neighborhood to Colorado Springs along the banks of Cheyenne Creek and under Pikes Peak! The tree lined neighborhood is home to numerous restaurants. Walk to breweries and distilleries. For leisure there is hiking in Cheyenne Canyon, take the complimentary golf clubs for a round, bring the children to the live performances at the theater, and indulge in the nightlife found at our neighborhood brewery (and walk home safely). Easy and quick access to the major highways and Interstate 25, and HWY 115 and 24.
We have some of the best access to the major travel roadways, Interstate 25 (connects to Denver, airports, Garden of the Gods) intersects with Highway 24 (gets you to Pikes Peak), and also hits Highway 115 (takes you south to Royal George, Broadmoor), and Tejon Street (goes right downtown). The Ivywild neighborhood sits right in this area, shielded by a hill which gives us privacy and keeps the noise away. In 3 minutes, you can be on any of these roads en route to your destination. No other area has such easy access.

Far and away my best VRBO experience. Properly was incredible and the host communicated very well and even left us a gift. I couldn’t have asked for more.

We had a big group of family vacationing in Colorado Springs for a week. This home was the perfect fit for us with numerous accommodations that made our stay even easier. Kyle, the owner, was very helpful by recommending places to explore, dine, or just have fun. This home is clean, cozy, and in a very quiet neighborhood with an incredible view and only minutes away from the best attractions! We will be booking this beautiful home again the next time we make it back out to Colorado!

Outstanding accommodations and host. Best VRBO we’ve stayed in for a family of 12. Excellent location to visit sites in Colorado Springs area. Close to Walmart for groceries. House had excellent tech support. Would definitely stay there again.!

Property is as described- plus. We enjoyed the stay. Every interaction with the host was cordial and informative. Several regular travelers would rate the property their best rental ever.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had in a vacation rental and the bar has now been set for me to be disappointed in any future booking that doesn't match the experience Kyle provides! I booked this property for my family to spend the Christmas holiday together and finding the right place is always a struggle due to the amount of specific needs everyone has. With an infant and grandparents requiring specific access or mobility to keep them comfortable or safe, I was left instantly grateful for the amount of detail and thought he put into the description so I could make sure this home would work for us. Within 30 minutes of booking, Kyle called me to introduce himself and answer any questions I had so that he could ensure we had a memorable stay. Knowing we were celebrating the holiday, he made this extra special by putting up multiple trees, decor, and lights so we felt just like we were at home together! This house has EVERYTHING you need and everything you didn't know you needed until you did. Rentals tend to be shells of homes, lacking in necessary items you would expect in a kitchen or random amounts of everyday items like 3 mugs and 4 forks. This is not a house, it is a HOME! You can cook a full 10-dish holiday meal, do daily laundry, and with updated tech and amenities feel like you never left the comfort of your own place. I highly recommend this unicorn rental for all types of groups looking to have an amazing and memorable stay!

Our family of 11 stayed at the Ivywild House for a week during Thanksgiving and had the most incredible, memorable time in Colorado Springs! We even got to see snow while we were there! Kyle is a super gracious and thoughtful host! He has thought of every detail to make his beautiful, cozy, spacious home a very comfortable place to stay. He communicated along the way and gave us so many amazing local recommendations. Highly recommend this place…we will definitely be returning for a visit!

This is an amazing house for a family gathering. It is the most well equipped home we've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you could think of and more. There were even picnic and party supplies! Tons of bath towels were provided as well. There was even an assortment of toys that my grandchildren enjoyed.
The house itself is lovely. Having a bathroom in every bedroom was wonderful! It also has connections in each bedroom to charge your cell phone. Kyle, the owner, has added so many lovely details that it really felt like a home, not a rental.
Kyle and Donna were the most lovely hosts! They were so helpful and kind. We were all so impressed with them and hope to rent from them again!

This was absolutely, by far, our best rental of many that we have stayed at over the years. We had 11 of us total (6 adults, 5 kids ages 6 and under), and the house was beyond perfect! We had tons of room (there's plenty of space even if the kids had been teens!),the location is perfect-only 10-15 minutes from EVERYTHING, and as far as amenities- WOW isn't a strong enough word! Super clean and well taken care of are also understatements! Kyle, the host, was immediately responsive when I booked and stayed in contact with us prior to our arrival, offering suggestions and answering questions. When we arrived, he was right next door and helped us get in and settled, then came by the next day to just check on us. We saw him several times but in a very positive manner. He was not intrusive, just available!
The house is well-stocked and extremely comfortable. A crib, stroller, and toys for the kids were definitely appreciated. Upgraded lighting, a pantry that is shareable, laundry pods, etc., were just a few of the niceties that made this a stay we will definitely look forward to returning to.

Kyle is a very very nice host. It was one of the coldest day in CS during our stay, Kyle got up early in the morning to clear the drive way …..very much appreciated 😊👍.

Kyle is my neighbor. I have known that he had a vrbo two houses down from us for a couple of years and was always happy with the level of upkeep and families that stayed.
On Thanksgiving this year, I had five family members in from out of town, all over 70. My sewer line broke!!! I called Kyle and leased his house for a week so that everyone could maintain showers and such. We ended up staying there. I was COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY!!! It is so well stocked and clean and beautiful inside!!! From water pressure and facilities to the very thoughtful decor and amenities, completely surprised. I've stayed at many for work and fun. Kyle's property is less of a business venture and more of a prideful hobby. You can stay there with a culinary backbone and not be disappointed as everything is so well stocked and even more high-end then the basic dollar store knives and utensils. Even hotel soaps and shampoos if you forget them!!! I hadn't been over, so I was stunned to find five bathrooms and a really thoughtful back patio space equipped with barbecue and heat lamps. Even the mattresses are better than the others I have stayed at. We didn't have kids there, but I snooped about and saw how kid-friendly much of the space was!!!
Having lived over here for close to two decades, the location is perfect for touring the city. Plenty of parking easy access.
I may be partial as Kyle has been our neighbor and friend. But he was a godsend and everything was perfect and beautiful. I am moving out if state and now know where I will be staying when I come back every couple of months. Thank you, Kyle!!!

We rented the Ivywild house for my family- including my elderly parents, siblings and kids! The house was clean and the kitchen was easy to make family dinners with everything we needed! The room setup is great for families (with cool lighting)! The host was friendly and easily accessible. Great neighborhood- nearby park and playground, brewery, BBQ and sushi!! very convenient location for groceries and entertainment, minutes from the highway! Loved our experience and plan to return for our next family gathering!!

This house and the host were amazing. Yummy chocolate chips greeted us in this beautiful home. The house is super roomy with a private bath in every room it was perfect for my large family. We woke and drank our coffee on the beautiful patios that overlook the mountains. We grilled and drank hot chocolate around the fire pit. The was such a great stay the host was super accommodating. We will make sure to book this house again when we come back.

You must stay here for a 6 star VRBO rental experience! Lots of room, bedrooms, and bathrooms plus sitting areas on front porch and back patio. Fenced yard in back for dogs too. This house is super clean, close to everything and stocked with everything you can imagine.

We recently stayed at this property for USAFA parent weekend (Labor Day weekend). Kyle, who owns and manages this home, was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, from beginning to end. He worked with us for a flexible check in and check out time, as we had family arriving and departing at various points over the weekend.
We've stayed at MANY VRBO properties in Colorado Springs, and this was by far our best rental experience so far.
The house is basically a fully equipped family home. Plenty of towels, bedding, etc. and there were supplies for doing dishes and laundry during our stay. The kitchen has plenty of dishware, wine glasses, cutlery, etc. Crockpots, air fryer, Insta pot, blender, tea pots, coffee pot and a Keurig were available for our use, among other gadgets and helpful items. The grill was in great shape and there were quality grilling tools as well. The back patio seating was ample, clean and in good condition.
None of the kitchen or home inventory was broken or even remotely worn out. Kyle even had ingredients for smores waiting in the kitchen for us, along with a plate of freshly baked cookies awaiting our arrival!
The upstairs loft has a full selection of board games, books and a video game system (we don't play, but there were plenty of game options available). There were even bongos and a guitar for guests to use!
The information binder had very clear and simple check in/check out guidelines, general house information, and a comprehensive list of nearby restaurants and attractions.
The owner's attention to detail and obvious TLC to this home definitely distinguishes it as an exceptional rental option. From the lantern lights hanging on the front porch (that came on automatically each night) to the Air Force decorations he placed out especially for us, it was just a lovely experience. We just wish we would have discovered this home years ago when we started traveling to this area. We highly recommend this rental!

The property was very nice and our stay was very comfortable as well. The host made sure that the house had everything that the guests may need. Met with Kyle, the owner, a very pleasant person, who had kept amazing cookies waiting for us, when we reached the property and also brought us home grown peaches the next day.
We all had a great time and I would most definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends. Thanks Kyle!

Kyle was the best host I've ever had. We had a large group stay at his home and it was very well stocked and had plenty of room for everyone. Kyle communicated well even before we checked in. The area was nice and quiet but still close to everything. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Wow, this place is amazing as is the property manager! It was much more cost effective for us to stay here than to rent a hotel and this house offers SO MUCH MORE than any hotel ever could. When booking, we had questions and Kyle was very quick in responding and even did a video call with us to provide more details. We arrived and the place was very neat and clean. We were even greeted with a plate of warm cookies! We had a wide range of age groups and the house catered to all of us. The kids loved all the toys and games. When our stay was over the kids didn't want to leave! The adults loved the privacy of their own bedrooms and bathrooms. We had an infant in our group and they even provided a crib and strollers. Kyle provided all sorts of information from names and locations of nearby grocery stores and restaurants to information on local attractions and hikes that would be friendly for small children. We loved the new patio furniture on the front porch and enjoyed coffee out there every morning and snacks out there in the afternoons. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and then some. Plenty of plates, bowls, cups and eating utensils for large groups. Lots of storage space for extra groceries, drinks, etc. There was even a wide variety of spices to use. Kyle has put a lot of little extras in the house. The lighting was amazing as he has safety lights on the staircase that come on automatically when it is dark and the rooms had light switches on the nightstands so you don't have to get out of bed to turn on and off the lights. We were there when the Switchbacks played so we were able to attend the game and the seats were amazing and we had a blast! EVERYONE in our group gave this place a 5+ star rating and if we are ever back in this area, this house is definitely where we will stay! Thank you Kyle for EVERYTHING!!!

Lacrosse tournament and Family Reunion
We all thought Kyles VRBO was excellent!!! Everything was super clean and we couldn't believe on how well it was stocked with supplies. Plenty of towels, spices, dinnerware and even some oatmeal in the pantry. The game area was the hit for the teenagers. Thank you so much for all the local info and hot spots, made the trip easier!!!

Great Property!
Eleven of us stayed in Kyle's property for 6 nights and had a great experience. We've never seen a better stocked kitchen and pantry - in fact the entire house was well stocked. He tried to think of everything that you might need to make your stay enjoyable.
Kyle was quick to respond to any needs we had and was very interested and receptive to any suggestions we had. Everything was exceptionally clean and well organized - and it's close to many of the attractions that you want to see in Colorado Springs.

My family along with two additional families stayed at Kyle’s property this weekend. It was an excellent experience. We had 6 adults and 8 kids ages 12-2. There was plenty of room for everyone and we even felt like it would have still been comfortable with another family.
The loft area was perfect for the kids to go play together during downtime between outings or in the evenings.
The kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to make multiple meals for a big group throughout our stay.
We did a Cheyenne Mountain Zoo trip, took a little adventure to Manitou Springs and four of the adults ran in the Garden of the Gods 10 miler. Everything was so convenient to get to from this location making it nice to go back and forth from activities.
Kyle was very responsive during our stay and extremely kind. One of my best vacation rental experiences by far!

The house is very accommodating and comfortable inside and outside! Couldn’t ask for a more perfect view of Pikes Peak! Love the location…inside a neighborhood setting to take early morning or evening walks but close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores for cooking needs in the house. We love the property and the owners who are very knowledgeable about the Colorado Springs area. They provide a very detailed list of places to see and do! Definitely will return to continue checking off the “things to do list”!
Thank you!
