December 2020 Stay
We have had a very enjoyable two week stay at Kahana Reef 313. The location could not be better, with direct ocean view. The lanai has updated furnishings, including a highboy table and two chairs, so the view is unobstructed by the rail.
The kitchen is very nice with a new dishwasher and cabinet fronts. The vanity and cabinets in the bathroom have also been updated.
Although there is no AC in the unit, we left the lanai slider open along with the front door, as there is a security screen. We also left the high bedroom windows open, which allowed for the breeze flowing through the unit.
Perhaps soon, the living room furnishing will be updated.
We found the unit very clean and were comfortable with the Covid procedures they have in place. We had a supply of disinfecting wipes and sanitizer supplied by the owner, which was appreciated.
The complex is very quiet and the units on either side are occupied by full time owners.

Rainbows and butterflies…really!
This kahana area is populated with lots of local homes among the relatively unobtrusive condo complexes. The kahana reef has an oceanfront location, with water access and a small beach. We especially enjoyed the view from our third floor lanai, including spouting whales and turtles daily.
The property is dated and modest, but is well maintained and comfortable, especially for families and first time visitors. Just one bedroom, one bath. This unit has older furniture, accents and amenities, but has everything you need.
We didn’t want to leave!

A million dollar view in a quiet, residential neighborhood.
We really enjoyed staying at 313 Kahana Reef. It was mostly very quiet. The accommodations are modest and not upscale at all, but we are simple folks and the price was perfect for our budget. The pictures on the listing matched the experience. Wonderful!. We had such a restful stay. The place was clean and comfortable although the lawn chairs were so old they started to rip so we didn’t use them much. The beach adjacent to the property was small and inviting. We watched turtles feed in the ocean from the lanai balcony. We played lots of cards gazing at the million dollar view. The sunsets over Molokai were divine. We give our stay two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Had a wonderful time again ,and the view from the Lenai is amazing for sunset
No Honu sightings from the Lenai this time ...but I know why 😁 they where waiting for me at the beach so we could snorkel together
Sooo sad that they were working hard on fixing the sea wall and the beach next door is gone.
But I’m coming back as I always do
I will recommend this condo to my friends and family
Aloha for now 🤟🏻🌴🏄🏻♀️🏖

You get what you pay for. The view is amazing. Thats what you pay for. The unit itself needs updating lots of updating. I live in Florida and know that food should not be left out ever. Even with food in refrigerator and sealed well there were roaches invading the space in the kitchen. The kitchen needs to be completely renovated from top to bottom. The pots and pans were rusted. I would not stay in this unit again until I knew it was totally updated. Again the view is great but some time you will need to be in the condo for sleep.

We couldn't be happier! The condo is clean, well furnished, and the view is fantastic. Is the condo fancy? No, but we aren't fancy people, and weren't expecting 4 star resort. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful place where normal, everyday folk can come stay for such a fantastically affordable price. Landscaping staff were here today and were so friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and will recommend it to anone we know of that want to come to Maui. Thank you so much!
