We needed space for 12 guests and this home had more than enough space for us. Upon check in the thermostats are set to 55 degrees and the water heater is off so don’t expect to take a shower or be comfortable for several hours while everything starts up and warms up. The house has older carpet which shows wear and housekeeping missed cleaning in several areas which leads you to wonder how clean everything else is. We cooked a meal which required use of the double oven that got way too hot on top and did not get up to temp on the bottom. Other than that it was a decent base of operations for our weekend in McCall.

The many areas guests could visit, play games, take a nap on a very comfortable couch, eat on the deck.

Some parts were not cleaned very well, which really bothered my wife. Downstairs bath shower backed up, and not usable. Really bothered my daughter! Some screens missing and others need to be replaced. Otherwise, the kitchen was a plus.

Great with no wifi
The cabin was amazing, although the pictures weren't 100% representative of the property. No one in my party was able to connect to the wifi, sadly. We even tried to Contact the property manager with no reply. Overall it was an amazing experience for us. I would rent this cabin again in the future.

It’s a trap!!!
The first poor interaction happened at check in. I’d expect the check in info (key location and code) to be communicated on VRBO. We arrived at 4, then tried messaging the manager, then ended up having to call VRBO customer support for guidance. Instead, apparently there was an email buried in my junk folder.
There is a leak in the master bedroom shower. Not a small leak; a leak that POURS water into the downstairs game room. So we did the right thing. We didn’t use that shower, and we contacted the property manager to alert them to the issue. We got no reply, we got no reimbursement.
The house itself is certainly not updated. The trash was full when we got there. The heaters didn’t work, resulting in some places being hot and some areas being freezing cold. I won’t stay here again and I don’t recommend you do either.

Great Placr!
It fit a big group and had a great cabin feel!

It met our needs. Thats about it.
The condition and maintenance of the property was well below our expectations. We rent somewhere every year and this was the first time we were disappointed. Mostly minor maintenance that would take a minimal investment to correct.

Very Accommodating for Large Group
This rental was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Plenty of beds, towels, kitchen items, and the house was very cozy and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Property was not as described and poor quality!
I just want to say, VRBO and the property manager had not done their job! The pictures are deceiving and the virtual tour was too.
First of all we arrived on time at the 4pm, Friday October 16, check in time. We got the key from the code lock box as instructed. But it quickly went downhill from there.
1. The main level of the home has stairs to climb to get in. We had a gentleman in our party that can’t do stairs! 2. The instructions on how to heat the home weren’t correct! The heat to the propane stoves had not even been turned on! So just turning up the thermostat did absolutely nothing. It was 50 degrees upon arrival! Everywhere we looked there was no further instructions on who to contact for problems.
3. Instructions told us NOT to use baseboard heat. There was a wood fireplace, but no wood! So we spent several hours trouble shootings the propane heat ourselves! I was searching all over VRBO’s web sight to contact customer support. I emailed and tried to text, but no response. At 5:40pm I found a 1-800 number to a customer service call canter. He was rude after I explained our heating situation and noted damages we were already finding. The home should have had the heat turned on to at least 65 degrees, ready for our arrival! Nobody had been there to insure things were in working condition.
Customer service took down my phone number and said they’d have the property manager reach out to us IF anyone is AVAILABLE! I said what? You mean we may have to go without heat? I said I wanted my $845.00 back for ruining our couples retreat weekend! He said we will have to see about that!
Soon other guests began arriving between 6:15-7:30pm. I was embarrassed because the heat wasn’t working. At 6:55 pm I missed a call because I was outside with a flashlight helping guests. The only heat was on the main floor, I had turned it on to 75 degrees but it was slow at warming us up to even 60 degrees. No heat downstairs or upstairs! Just the two propane stoves, one on the main level and the other in the basement. When I discovered the call, I quickly returned Jamie’s call. That was at 6:59pm. Jamie was was uncertain about the last time anyone was there?! The last guest entry was from July 2020!
List of problems!
*Main bathroom shower was very old and it was unclear how the shower even worked!
* The stove top didn’t work.
* Dishwasher was not secure and fell out when opened. Couldn’t use it. Saturday maintenance came and Nailed it to th

Dirty & Musty

Great for Families
The three main level bedrooms allow for 3 couples to sleep comfortably and privately. The basement bedroom is setup with a foosball table, darts, sectional couch, TV, gas fireplace, and a small bathroom, which was nice for one couple with small children. All the cousins stayed in the loft bedroom and loved having their own hideout. A great McCall cabin...rustic and cozy.

McCall Moose Lodge Visit
Our family enjoyed the three floors of space with great TVs and seating for everyone! The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pans, silverware and all the extras. Great location was close to the lake, downtown and biking trails even watched deer and a black bear in the neighborhood. Thanks for sharing with us!

Nice gathering areas for children and adults in the with a large den, upstairs living room, and separate dining room. Perfect for our group!

Spacious & conveniently located
Plenty of room for our two families. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, etc. Located minutes from town meant we were close to our play areas (skiing & snowmobiling).
