Great location but house is really tired
Location is great, Port Isaac is a lovely fishing village, albeit with limited places to eat and drink if you have no reservations. House was tired and in need of complete renovation. Two bedrooms in “garden flat” unusable because of damp smell. As a base the house was good, bedding and bathrooms clean but kitchen not practical if staying in to eat especially for large numbers.

Trethoway House, Port Isaac
A well equipped house which was well suitable for a large group of people. However the arrangement of accommodation was a bit odd in that some of it was in a basement flat which was separate from the rest of the house. However, this would suit some large groups as some people might like to have a bit of separation but still being able to come together in the main house for meals etc.. All the bedrooms had on suite bathrooms/shower rooms and the beds were comfortable with good bedding. There was a large kitchen, large dining room which could seat up to 12 people and a large living room.
The house was in a convenient position at the top of the village and had parking for 2/3 cars with a car park for extra cars a short walk away which cost £5.00 for 24hrs.
