Everything was exactly as hoped for and expected. The views, when not raining, are majestic. A storm knocked out the power, but the refrigerator and other essentials were on the generator. Because it occurred soon after sunset when it was still raining a bit, I recommend bringing candles or another source of light.

We really like this spot. The cabins are rustic but comfortable enough. Kids spent most of the time in the lake and fishing. We liked the updates from last year and the internet has improved which if you're forced to work while on vacation, you'll find it works for you. Appreciate that the cabins come with all the basic needs.

Nice area and cozy size cabin. We did some hiking in the area . We made the best out of the stormy weather!

We were very happy with our cabin and the proximity to the lake. Enjoyed watching the bald eagles over the lake and on it! My dogs also enjoyed romping in the snow on the lake! Hope to return again in the near future 😉

Great location and the cabin was larger than imagined from the pictures. The space was comfortable. The property owner was available, communicated and on top of the weather conditions.

Cabin was clean and everything worked as expected. Owner was very responsive when we had an internet issue. Be aware, however, that the pictures on vrbo make it look quite a bit roomier than it actually is.

Every year our family heads up to the Moosehead region, and this spot did not disappoint. It is a classic Maine camp with everything you need.
My young girls sincerely appreciated the swing set and friendly young host.

Quiet, compact and just Very enjoyable. Rained the whole time and hailed as well, but great location and peaceful. No Internet in the cabin, FYI.

Peaceful paradise
When we checked in we had a breath-taking sunset. The other cabins had super friendly and quiet guests. The water was clean and refreshing and fishing was great. The cabin was really clean, well stocked, and cozy. We look forward to coming back and hope to make this family run destination a family tradition!

Wonderful, but construction noise
We had a great time at this little gem of a camp. Our daughter had loved it and the lake is just gorgeous. There is a substantial construction project going on site. While the noise isn't constant, it wasn't what we wanted on our peaceful lake trip. It looks as though the construction will be outdoors through the fall. Once it is indoors it won't be so loud.

New Family Tradition!
I was a little taken aback at first because the property is clearly under renovation and there definitely was some cleanliness type issues that we're concerning. The location itself is just perfect though! Super close to the water (pictures don't do it justice) and the little dock/beach area was my kids FAVORITE spot all week! Having the Kayaks available for rent was so neat and we took advantage of that! The check in was super easy! There wasn't a lot of direct communication with the management once on sight - but I guess you could look at that as a good thing ? lol After our trip we decided that even though there were some "cleanliness" type issues that we would definitely be making Brassua Camps our yearly family tradition! We can appreciate that the owners are undertaking A LOT with all the work they're doing to this campground and we can't wait to see it all come together! Thank you for a great experience!

No internet service, no cellular service in area, they don’t supply bar soap or shampoo for shower, good luck on figuring out how to program the heater to work, smallish shower. Beds were reasonably comfortable, large refrigerator

It’s a camp lol
Your on the east side of Brassua
Pretty tight for four people and two dogs
One of the people there was in a motorcycle accident a couple years ago and has balance issues so the steps were a bit of an issue...icy and ....
He brought a long handle spade shovel to help him
Sun set was beautiful and had a great time getting away and probably go back
If you want to relax with life
This will make it happen

We had a great family time at cabin #3. We snowshoed across the lake to Mt. Kineo, played board games, visited The Birches and town of Greenville. Would love to come again.
