About this house rental
Originally built in 1670 under Venetian rule, the seafront house was again meticulously restored in 2016. It comes with 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a large living room, open plan kitchen-dining area with fireplace, and its own seafront terrace with private sea access! It is right in the historic part of Rovinj, but quietly tucked away from the bustling restaurants and bars.
Living in the palazzo almost feels unreal: at night you can not hear the waves from the sea like on a boat, in the morning from your bed or in the shower.
Walking in the morning through the cobbled streets, over the market square with its marvelous fish mongers, buying croissants at the piazza cafes Hollywood movie set!
Monte Mulini beach club at the 5-star Monte Mulini Hotel, take a taxi boat to one of the islands, or we can whisper you some secret beach South of Rovinj!
In the evenings you can either dine on your own seafront terrace which is one of the best tables in town! Or you eat at the beautiful Adriatic Brassiere and look over the piazza to the old harbor with its fishing boats, and you might feel like you're back in St Tropez 30 years ago!
Another option to eat at Croatia's first Michelin star restaurant. Monte on top of the old town which is a 5 minute walk.

Rovinj is a magical place and our accommodations made it even more so. We enjoyed the ease of being in the old town and having the pleasure of cooking in a well appointed kitchen. We especially loved the spacious home. We will certainly return. ♥️

The palazzo by the sea has been beautifully restored and furnished so well. We spent a lot of time on the terrace overlooking the harbour, an ideal sanctuary. The host was generously hospitable, providing more than just essentials.
Of note was Hana, the property manager: her thoughtfulness and flexibility were much appreciated as was her prompt response to our wishes. Thank you Hana.

Andreas was a gracious host, meeting us despite our delayed arrival and helping us transfer cases on the day of departure. The house is beautiful, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The paddle board was a great extra and we used this and our snorkels everyday swimming from the property and the nearby bathing rocks. We originally planned to travel more in Istria but in the end spent most of our time in Rovinj, enjoying a self-tour wine tasting with Villa Dobrovac and Vivoda wines walking between premises and filling up our own bottle of delicious Malvesja. We enjoyed the bars in the Old Town (Mediterraneo right on the sea and Havana for the rum!) and ate often in the lovely kitchen or on the terrace with the amazing views of the sea. We appreciated the coffee machine and coffee left by Andreas and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay - do not hesitate to book, you will not regret it.
