Economical place to stay with a family atmosphere.

Nice view of the Kathmandu Valley. Quiet, friendly home atmosphere. The food was good, and Keshab was a nice guy - very helpful. Great value for money.

Best to stay in the treehouse room if available, and best to be there when the temperature is moderate. My cabin was a little like camping. Also, you should have your own wheels, as it's a bit off the beaten track.

Excellent stay

The location was top-notch, completely surrounded by nature, hiking trails, a suspension bridge and a waterfall. Its quiet and everyone is extremely friendly!

The only disadvantage is that it's not really close to town (but that's what you get for being surrounded by nature).

Lovely cabins with a view + excellent restaurant

Lovely family-run hotel and excellent food. The walk to the waterfall and bridge is stunning. The sunset view is also nice from the restaurant terrace. The rooms are basic cabins but everything you need. Bring warm clothes in December. The sun arrives in the mid afternoon and before that it's chilly. They had plenty of nice blankets in the cabin. The owners are both excellent chefs and the food was cooked with love and attention. The meal options were also very affordable. Their daughters are lovely and respectful of guest spaces. The wifi was working all the time.

The beds were a bit hard but I slept very well. There was no hot water for showers - normally not a problem for me - but I had been ill before arriving there and couldn't face cold showers.

Lovely quiet place in nature

Loved staying in this little paradise even when it was just for 1 night. The forest is so peaceful, the little huts very cozy and the owners are really kind and welcoming and they make you delicious food.

The mattresses were quite hard but other than that it was great!

Super lieve familie die je met open armen verwelkomen. De kamer zijn knus en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Het eten is heerlijk en de locatie is goed als je van wandelen door de jungle houdt!

Wonderful, calm, serene and worth the money spent.

Excellent location amidst nature. Wonderful and caring staff. I'd recommend this place to anyone and also, Nagarkot as a place to visit. One can get a feeling of a rural Nepalese home along with the comforts of a homestay.

Toilets could be made a bit spacious.

Amazing stay

The food was amazing. The location is on point with a nice view. The owner and the family are super nice and welcoming and very accommodating. I would definitely go back!

Everything is good. It was unfortunate that the weather was not on my side to experience the full potential of this place

Amazing place in the jungle chalet. so confortable

Great stay with this lovely family so friendly and 2 girls Danse every evening nepali music ..thanks we are so lucky in the big chalet so confortable 5 stars for me .i am a traveller Thanks again And the must important the HOME MADE FOOD One more time Thank you so much Don 't miss sunset gorgeous

The family were so hospitable and even took us for a walk to the waterfall. They stayed. Up really late for our arrival.The location was beautiful, the rooms clean and the food delicious

A warm welcome at this beautiful place to stay among the trees outside Nagarkot

Keesab Dai took really great care of us at his wonderful place hidden among the trees! We wanted peace and quiet with nothing but birdsong, and we got it! There's some nice trails nearby for hiking, and Nagarkot is close enough to walk to. Keesab made us delicious dinner every night and even went to the effort to make us tasty vegan dessert! Thanks for having us, we would love to visit again soon.

Amazing place in the mountains!

The location is perfect if you want to do some nature outside Kathmandu. The views are astonishing and the cabin lovely and cosy. The food was superb and the owners couldn't have been more warm and welcoming! 5 starts!

The bed was a bit stiff, but I guess that's part of the culture. All excellent tbh.

We hiked from Bhaktapur to reach Jungle Crown Organic Homestay and what a lovely surprise! We stayed 2 nights but we would have loved to be able to stay longer to be honest. It was such a peaceful stay, the family was extremely welcoming and lovely. We enjoyed being surrounded by nature, the sound of birds and insects. we could enjoy the view on the valley from the common area and we loved the food too. There are few walks available around, it's very worth it to reach this place a bit more remote if you plan to visit Nagarkot.

Nice family run home stay

It is a family run place, the host is super nice and helpful. His food is super delicious! The view is nice. The place is quiet, good to take the time relaxing during sunset

Overall it is what described. The location is not so close to the top, so if you are planning to watch the sunrise the next day morning, you would need to book a taxi( the host could help). The bed is obviously very old, don’t expect to have a good deep sleep, but nice for a short rest of the night.

Live like a king in Jungle Crown

Keshab ji and family are the best host. The homestay is located in the forest area where you can relax, unwind and be with nature. The dishes he prepared are tasteful and organic. They picked the vegetables in their own garden. The room is simple yet complete, making you appreciate the simple life in the forest. If you prefer a little hike, there is a waterfall around 500 meters from the homestay. One morning he was free and we rode his bike to the sunrise viewpoint. I was also given a free ride to Bhaktapur, thanks ji. I had a great time and will definitely stay again.

Super good value for money. Rooms were basic but each one had an en-suite. Lovely balcony overlooking the valley. Wonderful food cooked fresh while you wait. Warm, hospitable hosts. We were very happy with our stay here.

The most magical little place

The most amazing little set up, all created by this family. Gorgeous little huts, with comfy beds and bathrooms. Food was exceptional, with it being the best Daal Bhat I’ve had in Nepal! The family was so welcoming and friendly, and even gave us hot water bottles in the evening. To top it off, there’s a beautiful waterfall not far from the homestay. It was truly a magical, peaceful stay and I hope to return one day.

The host and wife are really lovely. He took me on a tour on the back of is bike to a nice festival and temple and for sunrise and Panorama Trek to Nagarkot. The accommodation is simple, but with a nice hot shower. For the cold they have a fire place in the main house where you can sit with the family and there are enough blankets and a hot water bottle to keep you warm at night. The food is amazing. Best dal Bhat. Would definitely recommend! It is really a place where you stay longer than expected.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way! The host family are just such a delight, so calm and super lovely and their daughter just a pleasure! The food is 100% the best I’ve had in Nepal and I’ve been here 3 weeks! The Dal Bat is just amazing and you must try their banana fritter with their own honey 😅 My hut was so lovely with the hottest shower I’ve had in Nepal and all their water comes from the mountains so super refreshing. I also had the cosiest sleep since I’ve been here. They send you to bed with a hot water bottle and hot water in a flask if you want it. So nice to snuggle under their super warm quilts and blankets, and just being in complete nature too was wonderful. I just can’t thank them enough ☺️ They believe in the environment and sustainability and that’s just so amazing. If you are in this area YOU MUST STAY HERE! Don’t miss out 😉♥️
