Cole Cottage is a wonderful older original Kalbarri house with a lot of family history & the same original family that built it still running it. The cottage is well maintained and updated regularly. This 3 bedroom 1 bathroom cosy cottage has 1 x queen bed in main room, 1 x bunk bed in second room and 2 x single beds in third room. Reverse cycle air con in living area and small box air con in main bedroom, extra pedestal fans available as well. Microwave, dishwasher, oven/stove and fridge/freezer in well stocked kitchen. New Large Smart TV plus Ipod dock/stereo in lounge and combined dining area. Bathroom, Laundry has a Washing machine, iron and ironing board and separate toilet.
Relax and watch the sunset while enjoying a BBQ from the front veranda with some river and ocean views. Lawns surround the house this property is walking distance to river,& shops.. Plenty of parking. Enclosed backyard with fish cleaning table as well. This neat and tidy little cottage has all you need for a relaxing holiday. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A BYO LINEN & TOWELS ect. PROPERTY.
All beds have mattress protectors, pillows and doona's on them. You will need to bring sheets, towels, bathmats and tea towels.

Kalbarri is blessed with a unique environment and it wont take too long to see this for yourself with clean, safe river beaches, ocean side beaches boasting amazing rock pools and world renowned Jacques Point which has left point surf break for the avid surfers. Towering coastal sandstone cliffs bordering coastal reef fringes make great viewing platforms for the frequently visiting whales and dolphins.
Our magical National Park Gorges now with 2 sky walks and with the Murchison River being a backdrop will keep every member of the family occupied. Kalbarri now has a new cycle/walk path that runs the length of the town foreshore and passes the newly completed, awesome environmentally friendly huge pirate playground.
Kalbarri offers you activities such as canoeing, fishing, charters, crabbing, sailing, wind surfing, 4 wheel driving, quad bike riding, snorkelling, swimming, hiking, bird-watching, photography, golf, bowls, scenic flights, shopping, wildflowers just to name a few. This must be our eighth family holiday to Cole Cottage and once again, it didn’t disappoint. This place has everything you need and nothing that you don’t. You can park up your car and walk to the river, the IGA, the cafe , the bakery or even Finlay’s (if you had one too many ales). All this and such a great view from the deck with a beer or cuppa in hand. Spent a lot of time there. The house is great too - you wouldn’t call it luxurious but it has everything we look for in a relaxing break in Kalbarri. The only feedback I would give this time would be that a larger doona for the queen bed would be helpful as would a new dinner set.

This was our first time in Kalbarri and staying at Cole Cottage was fantastic. The cottage was very clean, had everything we needed, was very private and in an excellent location. We could see the river from the front deck. At night we saw some kangaroos and the next day an emu! Check in was so easy and the directions to the cottage very simple. The staff at the office were very friendly. We would highly recommend staying at the cottage and would love to return soon. A wonderful stay :)

Front deck where this transitions from more recent to original porch and extension with reeded pine boards needs attention - the condition of the timber is deteriorating and represents a potential fall risk, if one or more boards failed - if this occurred a fall could result in an injury

1st time in Kalbarri with family staying at other accommodation and spending Christmas together Lovely Cottage very homely for a small family Wasn’t ideal for my family as I have a disable son but we had the privilege to seek help from the Community centre for equipment Close and easy access to the beach walking distance, walking distance to IGA and other facilities Ray white was very helpful In the end lovely to stay and would stay again if their is easy access for my son Thankyou

This would be the eighth time, the Manning’s have stayed at Cole Cottage and we love it to bits, we have so many fond memories there. Great location with no through traffic and a priceless view to the river mouth. What more could you ask for? An easy to manage household that can accommodate an extended family holiday means a relaxing break for everyone. Walking distance to IGA, cafes, beach and the BAKERY. Every time we come, the owners have upgraded something so it’s a game to guess what it might be. As a family we were concerned that Cole cottage may not have survived Seroja and we were so pleased to see that it did... with damaged fencing? We love this place and have booked again for next year. Only improvements we can suggest would be a couple of cutting boards, sharper knives and a new plug for the kitchen sink

Great homely feel about Cole Cottage, plenty of room, well equipped for self catering holiday providing comfortable bedrooms and entertaining areas.The only downside was no Wifi coverage, easily overcome with Hotspot.The only other complaint was the BBQ although the plates were clean, no one had cleaned the overflow fat and we had a fat fire when we lit it. Let it burn out, cleaned it out properly the next day and we were back in business.Highly recommended for family up to six people, a lot cheaper than hotel accommodation.

We stayed at Coles Cottage for 4 nights at the end of August, 2021. Our group included my husband and myself, my sone and his wife and their two little ones (aged 5 and just 4 months). The place was very clean and we were delighted by all the extra kitchen equipment, that we didn't expect. It was a short walk to the beach and shopping and had a fenced off back yard (with a big clothes line). All in all we were very happy with the place and would definitely stay there again.

Cosy home - great location
Stayed with my partner, toddler and in-laws and was the perfect home for a few days away. Good sized living space, kitchen and bedrooms, quiet neighbourhood close to IGA and waterfront - comfortable & had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Cosy cottage ideal for small family getaway. Off the busy main road, while still offering easy access to river and ocean. Views from BBQ verandah. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Cottage basic but relaxing. Location good. Front deck makes the house. Relaxing views down the street to the sea from the deck was very enjoyable especially watching the sun sets.

Perfect!!
What a gorgeous little cottage. Perfect location. Everything was clean and neat and tidy. The footpath makes the best cricket pitch!! Smith St is a rather busy street but Cole Cottage is set off Smith St and with the large area between houses, it makes it the perfect spot with a young family. We've stayed in quite a few different locations in Kalbarri and would have to rate this as one of the best. Great BBQ/verandah area as well.
