The weather was beautiful and the view of the mountain slopes in the backyard is perfect. All of the beds have white sheets and down comforters. It is obvious the house is cleaned and well taken care of. Plenty of towels, extra sheets, and pillows. We had a great time with all of our friends and will definitely be back. The property manager was great and came right over when we couldn't figure out how to change the hot tub.

Excellent location, good distribution, great open kitchen concept and plenty of space in the bedrooms. Great TV room and a working hot tub. However, as pointed by other customers, the kitchen needs new: utensils, frying pans, toaster, dishwasher(is not working properly). The garbage container was very small for the size house and hosts that it holds. Some of the sofas are worn down and some are falling apart, specially the pufs in the living room. The boards on the bunk beds (kids room) are not nailed down, one fell on top of my grandson. Looks like the steps to enter the house were re-done, but they are not at a proper distance...I am sure not to code and they are very slippery.

The house itself was okay. The kitchen lacked some decent cookware and the dishwasher was very old. The hot tub was not filled completely or cleaned. We tried twice to email the contact person and also called with no response. As far as complimentary paper supplies(I.e., toilet paper and paper towels)two small rolls in each bathroom for TP was not enough for families with children! We also left an expensive Kobalt flashlight and a sound machine there, our fault entirely, but we could get no response about the possibility of working with someone to get the stuff returned. With a little bit more effort the house could be a great place to stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and fresh. However, there are a few things that I would like to mention. Firstly, the Property Manager never picked up the phone nor replied back to my calls regarding the issues I faced at the property. The property had a hot tub which was very dirty when we arrived. The next day, the management team came to clean and treat the hot tub. The BBQ grill's propane tank was empty, and there was no charcoal for the regular grill. The bathroom doors didn't lock from the inside. Lastly, the exhaust fan in the first-floor bathroom made such a horrible noise that it could wake people upstairs. This is entirely the management's responsibility to keep the property in mint condition for their guests.

We had an incredible time! House was perfect!

We booked this trip for our annual three family ski trip and it is by far one of the nicest places we've stayed at. The house met all of our needs. We had a places to gather but also spots where we can have privacy and quieter conversations. Kids love the house and the surrounding property. They were all sad that the parents "forgot" to pack their bathing suits so none of them could get into the hot tub lol.
The distance to Windham could not be beat. We were all on the slopes all day knowing that there was not a two and a half hour drive ahead of us to go back home.
We may very well be doing this house rental at this same place annually.

The house was large with plenty to space for people to sleep. We were in Windham for a wedding and it was so convenient to town and the wedding locations. We had a really easy time communicating with the property manager and they were able to accommodate our requests. Great stay! Would definitely go back!

A stay to remember
Very nice place, but a little smaller view than we expected. Had enough room for us to enjoy. Would we go back? Most definitely.

Great house
Cozy stay in the mountains! Easy to find & close to town. It was raining so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor firepit, but made a fire in the fireplace!

Good place with room for improvement
Overall, the stay was good and I'll certainly be considering it in the future. Several big pluses include the layout/location of the home, the kitchen is very large, good sized deck out the back slider and great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, very nice master bedroom with adjoining bath and the fire pit was also in great location with unobstructed views of the sky and mountains. The location of the house is perfect. Right in between Windham Mtn and Windham Country Club with a great, local pub, O'Connor's within walking distance. With that being said, there were a handful of drawbacks which took away from what could really make this place stand out, namely a fully torn back screen door leading out to the deck...not a real good look for new visitors.... I would not have rented this place out myself until there was a brand new slider installed. It honestly looked as though someone walked/ran right through the door as the slider screen door was also compromised....not easy to slide open and close. Also, the glass top stove was cracked rendering it unusable....I was notified of this issue the day I left, so alittle late......but we were able to work around that. Lastly, when I went to use the pull out bed in the sofa on the lower level it appeared that a vacuum hadn't been used to clean under the cushions in sometime. Cracker crumbs galore.....so some short cuts by the cleaning crew.....shouldn't see those types of things when paying a hefty cleaning fee. Addressing these few items could really make this place shine. Lastly, the property manager was very responsive and answered all my questions in a very timely manner, so no problem there.

Long autumn weekend with family
Got this house for a long weekend in October with family, including my parents, my brothers and our kids. The house was clean and had ample space for all of us. The landscape was gorgeous especially with the peak of the foliage which surrounded the house and whole Catskill region around us. The kids enjoyed playing board games by the fireplace, video games on the large TV, running around in the big backyard and jumping in the leaves. The grownups enjoyed sitting around the big dining table, talking and having wine. The hot tub outside was nice especially with the brisk autumn air. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. I like that I was able to text her whenever for the random questions I had during our stay. Winter would also be a good time to come here especially with Windham and Hunter Mountains so close. Would definitely stay here again!

House was mostly clean, but contact with the property manager wasn't great.
This property is through a rental company called Evolve, their emails were great with check in and out instructions and keeping me up to date in that sense, however they listed a name and number for my local contact in case there were any issues and she never answered her phone or returned my voicemails. There was nothing major wrong with the house, however when we got there and went to get the keys out of the lockbox in the garage there was trash everywhere, it was obvious an animal had gotten into it (there's a hole in the wall of the garage a raccoon or cat could easily get in and out of). I understand you can't control animals getting into garbage, I was just surprised there was garbage there to get into, I would have thought they would clean and remove that between guests. The smoke detector outside the master bedroom was beeping that it had low battery and I had wanted her to know as that's a pretty big safety concern. I left a voicemail letting her know, told her the trash wasn't bothering us being in the garage but just wanted to warn her about the batteries. By the second day of our stay the smoke detector was completely dead and I hadn't heard back from her. There were a few small things wrong with the house, nothing that's a major big deal, but things they could fix simply enough, such as the outside door on the porch had a handle missing a screw so the handle falls off if you try to use it to come in. I wanted to let the guest contact know so we wouldn't be blamed for the damage, but I have yet to hear back from her after leaving a second voicemail when we checked out. All in all the house was mostly clean/picked up, just didn't look professionally done. It didn't bother us at all, but there were beer cans under the deck and the garbage scattered all over the garage. We had a great stay and I would stay there again, I just wish the contact was a little easier to get ahold of so the smoke detector could have had batteries.

Wonderful property for family vacation!
My friends and I spemt four days and three nights in this house and loved every minute of it! The vast, sprawling grounds allowed the two five-year-olds in our group to learn to ride their bikes on the soft grass without fear of falling. The enormous kitchen with island and wooden countertops allowed two people to cook while a third led a cooking class for the little ones. The hot tub needed cleaning, but the owner took care of it and sent someone over, and we were able to take a dip with the kids, who had a ball! We had a marshmallow roast at the fire pit on the last evening and left the next day, satisfied with the many new memories made and delicious dishes we prepared to share. The bedrooms were nicely appointed, and the bunk bed room was perfect for one couple's three children. All in all, a great time was had by all in this wonderful Windham home!

Perfect location
The house was clean and great for 2 families. Although the kitchen is huge, the 2 sitting areas wouldnt accommodate our group..we stayed in the parlour because that is where the fireplace is..no tv or large couch in that room, however, We didn't mind sitting a few of us on the floor (more cozy than a hard back chair). The game room was comfy with a large couch and tv, but no fireplace. Thus, for card games, we all chose to hang out in the kitchen area. Jacuzzi was nice as was the sauna in the Master bath. 2 of the upstairs rooms were a nice size, but the other 2 were very small. If there were more of us (we had 4 adults, 4 teens), sleeping arrangements and sitting in one space would be an issue. The location cant be beat as the slopes are only 3 minutes away. Amanda was very easy to communicate with. We'd definitely return to this house.

Nice rental at a good price.
This rental is a great space for a fairly large group. The kitchen area is open and welcoming. We spent a lot of time eating and playing games at the large table.
The porch and hot tub also got a lot of use. The master is a great space. The other bedrooms are useable, but not of the same caliber. Everyone had a place to sleep but the layout was unusual. Overall the place was clean and tidy, but there were a couple of exceptions, leading to my 4 rating in that area. (Closet spaces were kind of jumbled with random linens, many on the floor of the closets. The downstairs bath had no bath mat and the floor wasn’t clean when we arrived.) If the maintenance/cleaning is stepped up a notch, this would be a solid 5 in my opinion... especially at the reasonable rate.
We would likely rent again if we needed a place in the area.
