Stayed here just after the 2023 New Years storm. Julie the owner was awesome as far as facilitating check in and even checked on us during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. They have 3 snow removal teams so even with the storms we had no problems with access to the house. House is beautiful, wood burning fireplace, hot tub, comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen 2 mins from the base of Squaw. What more can you ask for?

Amazing stay in Palisade

The property is only 5 min away from the village. It is great to be able to have a nice warm breakfast and still secure a decent parking! The house is very spacious - high ceiling throughout and provides a luxury feeling. The pictures don’t do justice. We enjoyed 2 living rooms, grown-ups and teens (and one living room had a full wet bar setting!) Kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed cooking with lots of counter spaces. All beds and bedding are high-end products. We slept so well after all day skiing. Owner was available and communicative is throughout the stay. Very courteous and nice people. We would definitely come back again.

Lovely home, well appointed and very comfortable for large groups. The owners are very proactive with communication and make you feel welcome in their home. Location is on the 50 yard line of all activities in North Tahoe. You will not be disappointed, this home is a '10'. We had a terrific time, and really appreciate the owners opening their home allowing us to enjoy enjoy and experience their beautiful piece of paradise. Thank you- we created a lot of cherished memories.

We loved our stay at Julie and Tom's beautiful home. The house is removed from the bustle of the main road. It's situated in a wooded area near the end of a private road. The 4 bedrooms & the 2 living areas are very comfortable. Plus there's a wonderful gourmet kitchen. Outside is perfect for relaxing - the hot tub, outdoor seating area, deck & fire pit present options to spend time together as a group or separate. The photos of the house don't do it justice, it's so much nicer in person. We had a lovely outings rafting down the Truckee River and swimming on Lake Tahoe. Communication with Julie and Tom was easy and so welcoming. I would highly recommend this home. We will be back. Thank you again, we all had a wonderful stay!

This was the perfect home for our spring break getaway. It is comfortable for 8, and is supremely provisioned by Salita; bring your food and drink and everything else is taken care of. The kids loved sledding and building forts on the back hill, and the hot tub was of course a hit. We hope to visit again.

We stayed 3 nights during an early March epic snow storm with approx. 5" of new fluff over the three days. House has that classic old Tahoe feel with nice upscale upgrades and architecture. Plenty of room for 8 of us, and the dog felt welcomed as well thanks to the water bowls and bed pads. About a mile a way from the slopes but no big deal as once you are in Olympic Valley it is an easy trip to and from. We found the owners very responsive and caring and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this home. Salita and Tiana were very responsive to our needs working through the booking process, as well as when we actually arrived, insuring that everything was going smoothly. Their home is beautiful, with plenty of kitchen amenities for all of your cooking needs. Its in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood, We had two families with children, and there was plenty of room for them to hang out around the house and allow the adults some space to do the same. We took advantage of the jacuzzi as well, which fired up with no problem. The location allows you to be 5 minutes from Squaw, or 30 minutes from the north shore or west shore, so there is plenty to do. We would stay there again, and definitely recommend it for those considering coming up to Tahoe.

We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful home. The home, esp. the kitchen, was very well equipped and spacious. Beds are super comfortable; we slept very well. We made smores at night by the fire pit. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub outside. Views from every window are exceptional. The home feels very private. Salita and her daughter are very accessible if you have any questions. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much. Our family had such a wonderful vacation.

My family and I stayed in Salita's home for a weekend getaway. It had more room and amenities than we needed. It was well stocked and comfortable. Our favorite part was spending time together around the fire pit roasting s'mores. We enjoyed the location being minutes away from Squaw Valley Village and a short 10 minute drive into Tahoe City. Salita was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We look forward to visiting Tahoe again and booking another stay at this home.

Our stay at Salita's home in Squaw was perfect in every way. The central location enabled us to explore Squaw Valley, as well as Tahoe City and beyond. Exceptionally quiet and private, this home met all of our family's needs. Plenty of space with a cozy feel, amazing kitchen with instant hot water and super comfortable beds. And pet friendly as well! I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

The home was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location was ideal for our summer stay and a winter trip would be even more perfect! The house was spotless, loaded with board games, kitchen staples and a view to get lost in. The hot tub easily fits 4 adults, the fire pit was well stocked with firewood the deck and patio are the perfect place to entertain or sit and relax with a coffee. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and the master bath is from a magazine! The family was always immediately able to respond during the booking process and even checked in to ensure everything was good and we got in the house easily. Highly recommend staying here and will be back before the end of the year for sure!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed relaxing in both the front and back of the house. The inside had great areas to hang out and is in very well-maintained. Grilling dinner outside in the evenings was so fun. Great area to relax and enjoy Lake Tahoe! The stars at night are beautiful too - love escaping the city! We also enjoyed how close we were to the Squaw Valley village and also right between Tahoe City and Truckee. Definitely hoping to stay here again when we return to Lake Tahoe!
