Great stay

The hotel was literally next to the train station. The subway line has an elevator so even if you have luggage, it would be easy to get on and off the train station. The property was very clean and quite spacious. It had everything in it. The location is quite good too. Close to a lot of places. Just a train ride to the Gion area. It is also pretty close to Kyoto station. You do need to transfer though, but pretty short trip. There are also a couple of restaurants around the hotel. Plus, a lawson next to the train station. Best of all, the staff are very nice and accommodating. I was able to leave my luggage before check in time.

They don’t have an elevator but it wasn’t an issue with me personally. I am able to carry my luggage up and down the stairs.

部屋が寒かったです

駅近。駐車場もすぐ近くにあります。セルフチェックイン。小さいですが浴室が独立しています。施設からチェックインに関する電話連絡をもらえました。

エレベーターはありません。階段も狭いので重たい荷物がある場合かなり厳しいです。暖房の効きが悪かったです。暖まるまで３時間くらいかかりました。当日予約の部屋は空調をつけておいて欲しいです。電気温水器の上のは埃が目線に入り気になりました。

spaceous room compared to Japanese standard. equiped with small kitchen.

location is bit far from center, you need to switch trains to get tomthe center. but it’s located right at the exit of metro station. no elevator, so be prepared to carry your suitcases up the stairs.

Repeat stay at Cocoro after our bike trip

Excellent customer service from check in staff Very welcoming Units are compact, as is common in Japan, with all you need eg. kitchenette, washing machine, comfortable bed, bath/ shower combined. We had a great stay again, and were very pleased with their luggage storage service during our bike tour of Biwako.

Overnight stay before starting Biwako cycle

Fully self contained with a small kitchen and washing machine. Comfortable bed. Staff helpful in storing our luggage for a bike journey we had planned.

Note it is on a busy road (it was cherry blossom season when we visited which might have influenced this) so could affect any light sleepers.

Overall, the hotel stay was excellent.

The hotel is right next to the subway station, and next to a convenience store. The room has a small kitchenet, microwave oven and a refrigerator. In addition, it has a washing machine for clothes.

The room is facing the busy street. It is a bit noisy at night with all the traffic on the road.

I will come back some day, I liked the place very much.

There were unexpected facilities such as washing machine and microwave. And the room was very big for japanese hotel. And the lavatory set was just gorgeos)

Exceptional

Facilities and location right next to underground access. Facilities included a small well equiped kitchen and laundry. The shower room doubled as an efficient cloths drying room.

Nothing not to like about this property.
