About this bed and breakfast

Enjoy the serenity of Bella's B&B. Located one mile from downtown Stuart, this retreat is in the heart of the city. Beaches, restaurants, boat ramps, hospital, airport are all close by. What ever your reason for visiting, my goal is to make you feel at home. Start your day with coffee, tea or some breakfast items provided by host. Cereals, yogurt, fruit, muffins and juice can be found in guest refrigerator located in laundry room. After breakfast, relax pool side, take Kayaks for a ride or try to spot a manatee in the creek.

Your room is complete with Internet, Cable TV, towels, shampoo, blow dryer, iron & board. The bed is Queen size and the remodeled bathroom is one step from your door. This bathroom is for your use and only your use. You can see the photo of two doors, solid white door is bedroom, glass door is your bathroom.

The living room welcomes you to try your hand at a puzzle which I normally have on the table in various stages of completion. I also have cards, backgammon and other games for your enjoyment. The layout of the home is open concept so you may be mingling with guests from Room #1, myself or my Labradoodle. Ivy June is 6, well behaved and always greets with wiggles. Bella in memory (2004-2021).

Many guests start their evening with a poolside happy hour before trying one of our many restaurants. A full size refrigerator located next to the kitchen is available for guest items. Fresh Market is close by and filled with wonderful goodies.

Check in is 3pm, check out 11am. If you need other times. Feel free to ask so we can work something out. Please make sure your cell phone is listed. My home is suitable for Adults 21 or over, no children, no pets, no smoking. Parking is in front of home in the driveway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Gail at Bella's B&B! Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Gail left a nice variety of breakfast items for us to enjoy in the guest-dedicated refrigerator. We also loved Gail's friendly pooch named Ivy who greeted us as house guests and gladly accepted petting anytime. Will stay with Gail and Ivy again!

Pool and patio area is enjoyable for morning coffee. Banana bread was tasty. Front door is always unlocked, which can make you feel a little uneasy. The bedroom and bathroom doors are very loud. One of the guest rooms is next to the owner's suit, so you have to be extra quiet after 11pm. Be sure to "turn the knob" before closing the doors to prevent waking the owner and receiving a text informing you that she was awakened. I would be sure to book the room next to the garage to avoid this situation.

Our stay was amazing. Gail gave us a full tour when we arrived. She also helped us with a lot of great local places to eat and shop. We are come and goers so we don’t sit still much and she made it easier for us and very convenient. If you stay you’re gonna just love it. Ivy-June was the icing on the cake. How beautiful, amazing and peaceful the property is only overshadowed by Gail. She was one of the most accommodating and amazing people we have ever met. The event we came to Stuart for ended up being a bust and Gail made up for it in spades by giving us recommendations that eventually linked us up with locals that helped us complete what we came down to do on our trip. Everything was top notch. If I am attending anything within a 100 miles of Stuart I will absolutely be staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay with Gail and Ivy. The home is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The backyard pool area is amazing. Enjoyed meeting the other couple who were from another state. This location is a short drive to the beach. Also close to countless dining and shopping options. Our room and bathroom were spacious. Gail was very attentive to our needs and was very accommodating. Ivy was so sweet and well behaved. We had never stayed at a B&B before and this was a great experience.

We had a wonderful trip. We were escaping the cold Minnesota temperatures. This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast and the hospitality was first class. Gail is a truly wonderful host and I would highly recommend staying here. The area is great. Downtown Stuart is within a mile of the place and has some great restaurants and cute places to shop. The beach was beautiful, about 5 miles from the place, and not crowded like areas between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. We also toured towns nearby and enjoyed those as well. I wish I would have had the chance to kayak. I guess we will have to visit again. 😊 Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality!

Gail created a gorgeous respite just out her backdoor, with the comforting sounds of water cascading into her pool that is surrounded by tropical gardens and multilevel pool decks. It was only hard to decide where to sit and enjoy. Her home is meticulously kept, including the private bathroom connected to the guest room. In the room, Gail had a nice queen bed, a library of pillows, extra blankets, perfectly placed lamps, sitting area chairs, a handy extension cord, and a very large smart TV that made for a private and quiet spot to stay. She keeps her home at the optimal sleeping temperature to boot! Was hard to get myself up. However, that rich smell of fresh brewed coffee and thoughts of warm banana bread had me up in seconds! Being greeted by Ivy Jane, Gail's precious pup was the icing on top I needed to start and end my day. While she was super friendly, clean and well mannered, she was also quiet. I don't think I ever heard her bark! Gail had plenty of things to say from dining options to suggestions on stores. She also had a big puzzle out in her living room to ease the restless mind. Easy parking was right outside her front door and using Uber was simple and an inexpensive way to visit downtown as parking in the town could be hard during the dinner hours. Reservations are suggested for Friday evenings as the places do fill up fast after the work hours end. But the options are plentiful. Gail's place was exactly the retreat I had hoped.

We've never stayed with a host on-property before and were a bit nervous about privacy and the noise level of others, but Gail is very professional and gives you whatever level of space you need. Her home is very nicely decorated and impeccably clean, but the backyard is really the jewel of this property. We spent the morning drinking our coffee and relaxing by the pool before heading out on the kayaks- which was beautiful, highly recommend taking advantage of this! The neighborhood is quiet and safe, we went for an evening stroll before bed and it was a treat to have two friendly dogs around. There was another guest, and the house is not large, but we didn't cross paths very much and it was fine. Although our first choice is to rent an entire house alone, we gave it a try and we were delightfully surprised and very comfortable! Gail is really a wonderful host.

Gail offers up a wonderful b&b experience with her beautiful and spacious home - discerning decor, impeccable cleanliness, gorgeous grounds and pool, simple but varied and satisfying breakfast spread, and two adorable dogs to play with! Gail is personable and great to chat with, while at the same time respectful of your privacy and space. She takes the time to explain useful details of the property and is a wealth of information on everything from fun things to do in Stuart to the ins and outs of all things regarding the endangered Monarch Butterfly (so many in her garden). We will certainly be back!
