THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Outside your front door you will find herb and other gardens, places to sit, fish ponds to inspect, flowers to gaze upon and a selection of butterflies and birds fluttering by.
Our property is in the Costner Park estate, a secluded enclave of a dozen or so acreage homes right at the end of Syndicate Road, surrounded by natural bush and a surprising level of beauty. A small creek runs along one boundary of our property, attracting ducks, parrots and other birds, wallabies and the occasional horse enthusiast.
Just down the road is another park and an entrance to a walking trail that will take you up into the hills and views to the Gold Coast, or in a forest loop just under 2km long. Or if you’re into fitness training, do the big hill, Ducats Road, just over 6km there and back with hardly any traffic. Just up the road (2.2km) is a park on Tallebudgera Creek by a sublime fresh water swimming hole. Great spot for a morning walk or a lunchtime picnic.
We are 5 minutes drive to the unique Quirky Cafe, about 10 lazy minutes west of Burleigh West and a range of restaurants and cafes, another minute to the M1 motorway, or turn right into David Fleay’s Wildlife Park where you can park and walk walk along the creek towards the Burleigh Heads National Park, with views to Tally beach.
About 15-20 mins drive away is the famous "Burleigh Hill', a popular spot to watch the moon rise over the ocean or to gaze upon the Gold Coast skyline some 20km to the north. Near to the hill is a strip of restaurants, cafes and clubs.

Arisa and Terrence have created an awesome get away from it all experience. We really liked the secluded feel and nature close at hand... welcome relief from the usual business and technical everyday life... need time out this is a good choice... need some vitamin D.. good place too. Beaches are within 15mins and Palm beach was our local. JFK Woodfire Pizza is a really good choice for dinner in Tallebudgera as well. Lots of good cafes in the area

The perfect short break
Cosy cottage in the lovely Tallebungera Valley. Well equiped, peaceful spot quirkily decorated with interesting objects from the hosts' travels. Great spot for exploring the SE Queensland hinterland and the NSW Tweed Valley. Or, bliss out in the lovely cottage gardens. You can even indulge in a fabulous massage from host Arisa and sample her homemade beauty products. Perfect short break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here... a clean dreamy quiet property with beautiful & helpful hosts, nature hikes nearby, organic gardens, & breakfast items provided. We arrived late in the dark evening with our 3.5month old baby & instantly felt welcomed by beautiful music playing in the cottage a clean & warm bed, ample books to get lost in & warm soft bathrobes to curl up in. The spa on-site provides an array of nourishing treatments offered by the host. We will without a doubt be back to stay here again & again. A truly delightful & relaxing getaway in every way... our expectations were exceeded and the photos on the website can not possibly do this little gem justice. Thank you infinitely.
