About this house rental

Experience treetop living in our mountain cottage just off the highway connecting Asheville, Hendersonville and Brevard! It is the ideal Base Camp to explore the mountains, the trails as well as Asheville and the Biltmore Estate twenty minutes away. In the summer you can fly fish, mountain bike and hike in Pisgah National Forest or hear classical music at Brevard Music Center. Try the brews at Sierra Nevada Brewery or Oskar Blues.

A three night minimum stay is required.

This four bedroom two bath cottage is nestled in the deep woods at an elevation of 2900 feet. A well-maintained gravel road leads to the house. It sleeps eight comfortably. The main level includes a living room, kitchen, shared bathroom, two bedrooms, den and porch.

The two master suites are downstairs and each features a king-sized bed. A small room at the base of the stairs could be just right to read a book or play games. The washer and dryer are located on the lower level.

Enjoy your meals inside at a table seating four or dine outside at a large table on the fabulous 55 x 15 foot covered porch. Twinkle lights above the deck makes for a magical dinner party.

WIFI is included along with ROKU. There is plenty of parking space for cars, bikes and gear. Feel free to use the in ground fire pit outside to roast marshmallows. Owner has a supply of firewood.
Please note that a" low to the ground sports" car may have difficulty using the gravel road when driver is not experienced. Wet weather may erode the roads and make it difficult for these kind of cars. Trailers not recommended and will not assist if you have issues coming up the road.
At this time, you must inquire with the Owner if working trucks are allowed on the property. The owner will determine whether or not you may rent.

We loved the home, with spacious bedrooms living areas and great outdoor space. The hosts are tremendously quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. We had an issue with the trash bins outside being filled to the brim, at no fault of the hosts. We messaged them and they made sure to remedy the problem within a few hours. The place is in a nice quiet area with lots of wildlife to view from the tremendously welcoming deck. Everything about this was a great stay. I want to point out only 2 things that you should know if you plan to rent. To be clear these are not complaints AT. ALL…. The drive up to the home is much easier with 4 wheel drive and the master suite is in the basement and was very warm. I sleep with a fan so I had packed one already. With that being said I am not complaining just recommending that if you stay in the summer months it might be a good idea to bring a fan for that room. Overall I would 100% rent this lovely home again.

The house was perfect for our family of six, plenty of room to spread out and very well appointed with anything one might need. Extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. The deck was our favorite spot, we all went straight out upon waking and spent so much time watching birds and white squirrels as well as having local family over….lots of wonderful memories were made out there. We did contact the owners during the stay and they replied within minutes and were so nice. We are looking forward to staying again next summer.

We had a great time, spent 4 days riding motorcycles in the mountains and when we were at the house, we spent most of our time chatting on the the upstairs patio. Each person had their own bedroom which was very nice. I initially had an issue with getting my trailer to the property but the property owners were VERY accommodating and allowed us to part my trailer just down the road during out stay. Everyone had a great time, thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

This place is truly a great house for a mountain retreat from civilization. You cannot see any neighbors and it is beautifully quiet. The huge deck and seating areas are great, so many options. Then, shopping, restaurants and breweries are 10-15 mins away. We have already told family and friends to give it a try.

My daughters and I spent a Mother’s Day weekend together and enjoyed the spacious house. We each had our own beautiful bedroom. The house has several sitting areas and the porch is large and inviting. We felt like we were nestled in the tree tops. Fire pit, swing large spacious downstairs porch area as well. The kitchen is modern with all of the amenities you could ask for. Will definitely stay here again!

The home was an awesome find, very clean and very beautifully decorated. The pictures of it online don't do it justice! We were able to have just as good of a time staying at the home as we did going out. Only improvement to our stay would have been a heads up on the road leading to the home, but once we drove it once we figured out what gear to put our cars in.

This is a well furnished 2 level home with a large covered porch. Perfect for family to gather and enjoy the birds visiting the feeders! Plenty of room to find a quiet spot to read or work when desired. Conveniently located. Asheville, Hendersonville, and Brevard are a short drive away.

I highly recommend this lovely home with everything you could need. The house is well cared for with lots of outdoor space. The ample seating spaces allowed us all space without being crowded. The main floor balcony was amazing for early morning coffee & late night talks. A quick drive to all the area has to offer. Pilar was an great host & made the stay all the more relaxing.

We loved this property. The highlight for us was the big deck area where we spent the vast amount of our time. The house was clean and there were plenty of towels and cooking supplies which was fantastic.

The house was perfect in location from Pisgah National Forest and so many great restaurants around town. We had no complaints except for the showers having no pressure and the water either really hot or really cold, but we made it work! I’m sure we’ll be back!

The house is large and very private. Loved the large deck with lots of tables and chairs. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Would not hesitate to rent it next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! The owners have taken wonderful care of this home, and Pilar was a gracious host. The deck was the perfect place to relax and feel like you were getting away from it all. The location is very convenient to Brevard, Asheville and the amazing waterfalls in the area. The layout was perfect for our group of two families with teenagers. They loved having their own space on the lower level and access to their own deck. We have traveled to Brevard many times, and this home was one of the best homes we’ve rented. Thank you, Pilar!

We truly enjoyed out time at the property. The home is beautiful, its located perfectly for many different day trips. If you're on a motorcycle the road leading up to the property is not for the faint of heart. Other than that all was perfect.

Ample amount of room for all ages to enjoy a relaxing spot. Highlights for us were: deck, large windows overlooking nature, huge screen TV for movie night, campfire pit, and relaxed setting. Things to consider: staircase to downstairs' master bedrooms, but there is a walk in basement entrance that someone could use if stairs are a concern and 2 bedrooms on first floor to use. Overall no complaints at all and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in that area.

This home is peaceful, well stocked, comfortable and the perfect stay! We were long term (2 months) while we were renovating our new property in the area. It was so nice to return "home" and not have to live in the midst of a demolishion project! The back porch is delightful and keep your eye out for the areas famous resident....a white squirrel ;)
