Beautiful home, for a friends or family gathering! Took us two hours to get to the airport in Boston… Lots of traffic to deal with. If you want a quiet seaside retreat, this is great! Lovely shops and restaurants in the area.

The home its self is stunning. The only thing that beats it are the ocean views from all the rooms, very high and highly recommend great host!

This property is of excellent quality in excellent location, and I cannot say enough about our positive stay. We (myself, my husband, and friends) stayed here for a week to attend a 50th Hingham High School Reunion. The third-floor oceanfront bedroom is a slice of heaven, and the 2nd floor master is the whole pie. The other bedrooms were fine. Even the bed in the loft room is larger than seen in the photo, however you must be a sound sleeper. The house is stocked - there is nothing you will ever need. Communication with owners was quick and they handle the few early glitches immediately!
Love it and can't wait to return.

Exceptional is the best way describe the experience from communicating with the host to the cleanliness of this home. It is obvious that the hosts are active with their property and want to make your stays as rememberable and relaxing as possible. This is our 2nd visit and will come back again with out a doubt. Practically Perfect
I was looking for something to celebrate my 50th birthday with close friends and my 2 teenage daughters, that was on the water with lots of space and great views... I found it! This was the best! It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed! Lots of space so we didn't feel like we were packed in... And the views! Wow.
Didn't have to buy any kitchen basics which was nice. Definitely not a "sandy" beach but we still enjoyed it! Even did some paddle boarding. Super convenient to shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Home
The house is right on the water. It's amazing! At high tide and sitting on the porch or in the living room you feel like you are on the water. The views from every room are of the ocean! The large kitchen and dining area is great for large groups. Our youngest group member was 18 months and the oldest 72. We had 3 families stay here. We enjoyed making smores a couple nights at the fire pit. While there are plenty of restaurants to dine out at we found we preferred cooking at the home and enjoying the ocean front view with our meals. The hosts are responsive and available if you need anything. We had a great stay and hope to visit again!

We loved this house and the location. The house had spectacular rooms with beautiful views. Also we had a multi generational group and the living spaces easily divided into sub areas for each generation and then bigger areas for whole group activities. The kids loved the safe access to the rocks and beach. Nearby Scituate had a great selection of restaurants and shops. You could even get into Boston by public transit.

Holiday stay 2021
Had a wonderful time at this property even though part of our group was unable to make it. We had a great time relaxing in the house- taking long walks- just spending time together. The home was spectacular, top notch everything and amazing views from each room. We couldn't have asked for a better home to host our weekend away. No need to ever leave the house, but quaint town and plenty to explore if you do. And the owners are extremely responsive and accommodating. Thank you Paul and Tamatha for a perfect getaway.

The home was better than pictured! The main room is much larger than the pictures show. The same is true of the double bed bedroom, it was definitely smaller than the 2 big bedrooms but surprisingly bigger than expected. The deck was the best space of all; plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view and sound of the waves.
We never had an issue but sent owner a text and they quickly responded. The "owners manual" was packed with information. We did have to figure out the WIFI pass code was in lower case (not Upper as shown) but not a big deal. We also could not find the outside speaker to play music. (again, not a big deal as you could hear it from the dinning room while your at the grill). The instructions on the hurricane doors are clear (being from the Midwest, it did take some getting used to). The home was extremely clean and well taken care of.
Only problem was that we had to leave. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had plenty of room to both get together to watch TV and play games as well as to find some individual space for alone time. Huge house. We did fight over who would get the the Master Bedroom, which is one of the nicest I have seen in a vacation rental (or anywhere), but the other bedrooms were really nice as well. The Ocean location is perfect....at high tide the water is nearly under the house-length deck along the ocean side of the house. Egypt Beach is adjacent to the property. Okay beach (definitely bring your water shoes) but there is really no reason to get off of the deck of the house. We saw seals directly in front of the house nearly every day. Two additional things stand out. One, I have never been in a better stocked home...including our own. It seemed like they had just left for for a week and just let us stay while they were gone. Even the outdoor shower had large full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and two types of skin moisturizer. (Of course the four full bathroom were equally well stocked.) Kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys...the list goes on and on and on. ( I saw a vacation listing last week that you even had to bring your own linens and towels..hate that) The second thing that stood out was how well decorated the home is. Just really creative touches EVERYWHERE to bring "coastal décor/beach house vibe" to this home. The owners did a great job decorating.
Sadly we will not book this house again. Coincidentally we will be moving to a home later this year less than a half mile away. Just a bit too close to spend our next summer vacation, though we really did consider it.
I highly recommend this home for your summer vacation.

This home offered the perfect setting for our family to gather in celebration of my son's graduation. The views were breath-taking, the decks were inviting overlooking the ocean, the kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were extremely comfortable and the hospitality was amazing. Tamatha and Paul were great and responded quickly to our questions. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

A wonderful week at the sea
This was just the most terrific place. We convened with grandparents with whom we had not spent time in over a year. The house was perfect....enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Lots of space to play games, watch TV, listen to music. The ocean views were breath taking. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location and views!
House is in a beautiful location, with wonderful views, right on the water. We loved the porch where you could sit on the porch swing or couch and watch the waves crash just in front of the house. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The common areas were comfortable and set up for a nice relaxing time with family. No real private beach area on this property, as it was all large boulders. But, you could walk the beach ( mostly pebbles and rocks). w e enjoyed exploring between the large rocks, finding rock crabs, mussels, snails and other tiny ocean life. If you wanted to sit, swim or take your shoes off, there were better beaches you could drive to. The town and surrounding areas have places to eat, etc. Noticed that some of the furnishings were a bit worn. It is not a place for you, if you expected A+ cleanliness. Overall, we loved our time there!

The BEST Beach House!
