About this house rental
Stylish escape for friends and family get-togethers! This mid-century modern home is open, bright and inviting! Floor-to-ceiling views of the Guemes Channel on all three floors. Gorgeous! The open floor plan maximizes the light and the views!
On the main floor you'll find a beautiful kitchen with walnut butcher block countertops and a huge island with a quartzite countertop. Such a fabulous space in which to cook and entertain! New appliances and fully stocked! The dining table is expandable to 10'. Two living areas provide space to relax and chat. Through French doors, the deck offers separate lounge area and an eating area that can accommodate 8-10! No better way to spend a summer day and evening than watching the yachts and working ships ply the Strait! The main floor also has a large bedroom with attached bath, including a walk in shower.
The second floor Master suite includes a king bed, a luxurious day bed, walk in shower, double sink vanity, separate toilet room, and a soaking bath with views of the water. True luxury! Two other bedrooms on the second floor include one with a king bed, a shared bathroom with a walk in shower, and a third bedroom, with a queen bed, private deck and expansive views of the water. It also has a half bath to itself! Cozy up in the second floor reading nook with a good book.
The full light basement includes a bedroom with queen bed and an attached bathroom with walk in shower. You'll also find a 55" smart TV in the cozy entertainment room. This is where you'll also find an indoor ping pong table and a full laundry.
The French doors lead to a beautifully landscaped, fully fenced yard with an entry level deck with expansive views. Lawn games rule! We have a badminton net and an assortment of games!
While the house will accommodate 10 people, any number over 8 will incur an additional person charge of $50 per person per day.
We do accept a maximum of two dogs under 50lbs with a $100 cleaning fee. I’m afraid we cannot accept cats or other pets.

This house has a beautiful view of the water, islands, and mountains. It is very thoughtfully furnished and equipped for guests. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The bathrooms are equipped like hotels. The house layout has a fun personality. The house is near a pretty oceanside footpath. It is a short drive to great restaurants. The owner has great communication. My senior citizen mom stayed in the main floor bedroom and had an easy time getting around. Our kids loved the basement and the many activities like ping pong, games, and playing in the backyard. The kitchen was very comfortable and equipped for meal prep. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

Our family appreciated the 4 suites spread over 3 levels. We didn't need the 5th bedroom/hall 1/2 bath upstairs. The kitchen is nicely stocked with basics and the seating on the upper deck was perfect for all of us and a few visiting family members. The low-profile furniture in the living area was a bit challenging for a few of us - especially my parents in their 80's. The views are worth dealing with the ferry traffic. :) Megan was VERY helpful and accommodating. We liked this experience much better than rental companies that rent homes stripped to the bone.

We rented this lovely house for the week to celebrate our sister's 80th birthday. Had a wonderful week and enjoyed the amazing views and sunsets from the expansive main level great room. This is a convenient spot to the San Juan Islands ferry ( just 2 miles) to take in an opportunity to explore even more. There's plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen has basically everything you would need ( including a plentiful array of spices). We old seniors got a workout on the steps up and down, but we counted it as aerobics. :) The main floor bedroom and bath was a blessing for one of us who had a recent total knee replacement.All in all, it is a wonderful home with a fantastic hostess. The house is very well furnished throughout and the kitchen supplies are excellent. Cooking was easy! There are two wonderful decks and it's fun to watch the boats cruising up and down the sound. It's a great house for family holidays.

Conveniently located just outside Anacortes with easy access to the ferry to the San Juan Islands and elsewhere. Short drives to great hikes in regional parks and about 2 hours from the Cascades. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of seating outside and in. Dining table held everyone comfortably and enough bathrooms for all the guests. Great view of both the bay and a working harbor.

We stayed here in mid-March for a small family reunion. The house was perfect for game play around the dining table, excellent for family meals with a well fitted-out kitchen, and had gorgeous interior design. The house is a 5-minute drive from both downtown Anacortes and the Anacortes ferry dock, which was very convenient for all of our sight-seeing trips. All the bedrooms were comfortable for the 7 adults we had staying at the house.

This was our second visit to Megan’s lovely home with a view! We had a great pre-Christmas celebration with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The beds are still amazing with beautiful linens and the house has everything you could need. The kitchen is well equipped and great for family dinners.
We even had snow which made it truly a winter wonderland.
Thanks Megan! Can’t wait to return.

This house not only has beautiful views of Guemes Sound and very comfortable gathering spaces (with great light); it's really well set up for a family stay. We successfully cooked a full Thanksgiving meal for 11. The owner has the great philosophy of keeping the house stocked with essentials - asking that you replenish if you use something up - and that made it an awesome house to cook in. We were even able to expand the dining table to seat the whole group, and found everything we needed to serve the food as if we were at home in our own houses. The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable seating inside and out, and the location in Anacortes is great.

Better than the pictures could share, the view, the home and the process was amazing! While we are frequent guests to Anacortes and the San Juan’s boating this house made it that much better! Love our stay and Megan was so easy and helpful. Will return!

Beautiful location overlooking the water. Great room and deck superb. Loved that the five bedrooms were all very nice and all but one had a full bath. No problem for us to “borrow” another shower. Fenced yard great for the dog. Location couldn’t be better. Host was excellent in every way. Hope to return soon!!!

Megan’s property was just as pictured and more. Beautiful, clean, and very well equipped! We loved the views from the deck and the main living area is perfect for groups. It is also very nice because there is a bath for each bedroom. Would love to come back and stay here again!

Great place to relax
Wonderful property with all the amenities, lots of space to unwind. A view of the water from a massive deck which is second to none. Close to downtown Anacortes and the grocery stores. Couldn’t ask for more plus a terrific hostess!

Amazing Girls Weekend
This property was amazing and provided the perfect opportunity for sitting around outside talking, laughing, drinking wine and just staring out at the water! And the dogs really enjoyed the open green space.
Given the current COVID state, we felt like the rooms and areas were so nicely spaced out that everyone felt comfortable.
Truly, an absolutely lovely property and perfect for lowkey connection!

Great as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Close to ferry for trips to the islands. A little traffic noise, but the view was awesome!

All was superb except for the vrbo web site which was confusing and diffficult to navigate and not informative enough about when and how the property would become available. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to work the site. .

Wonderful stay!
We celebrated a big birthday with 8 girlfriends and the house was perfect! Plenty of space for all of us. House is decorated lovely and the view is outstanding. Very close to the ferry and grocery store. Would highly recommend!

Family gathering
This place is a real winner! It is very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 6 adults and two kids. We all fit comfortably around the dining room table. The ping pong table in the basement was perfect for the rainy day. And the view and outside access is immaculate and easy for those with creaky knees.
It is on a busy street but not noisy. Very near the ferry dock, Guemes trailhead, grocery store and coffee drive-through. Who could ask for anything more?

EVERYTHING was PERFECT! This house was a perfect place for our family gathering. Each person had enough privacy and plenty of together time.
This house surpasses all of our expectations.
I had one small question and contacted Megan. She responded immediately and made it clear that if we need anything she will take care of it.
The only hardship is leaving.
I highly recommend staying here!!

Home away from home with an amazing view
We had a wonderful extended family, long weekend in this lovely home right before Christmas. Everything was exactly as represented (better actually) and the view is unreal. We loved the old ship yard ambiance and had lots of fun seeing the ferries go in and out of the Anacortes landing.
The beds and linens were all comfortable, and the duvets on each bed were a nice touch. The kitchen was very well stocked and the decor throughout - just right. The large sitting area has comfortable, clean and inviting furniture and we used the fireplaces often throughout our stay. The ping pong table got a good workout on several evenings as well.
It’s a great space to relax and enjoy family and or or friends. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax.
Megan was responsive and very nice to work with.
We did not want to leave and cannot wait to return. Thank you for such a wonderful place to land and spend time with family.

Anacortes Visit
We loved staying at this property. The big house was cozy with lots of spaces to slip away to relax. It was wonderful for our family that it was equipped with a pack and play crib and gates for the stairs. The ping pong table was enjoyed by all. The views were incredible from the various decks. The location was perfect with many day trips planned. Don’t miss Washington Park-great hikes and a must for rock hounds and bird watchers. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had-we’d stay again!

We had a great time staying at this property.
The kitchen was wonderful, we found everything we needed to cook our many feast. There was plenty of rooms and space to be all together and to split up. The best part was the wonderful view from every floor and outside decks.

Spacious, gracious, well-equipped, serene, welcoming and thoroughly delightful. Master suite is exquisite! Fruit trees, berry bushes and established landscaping add a lovely frame for the water view, where birds cruise and occasional ships pass in the night. Just wonderfully relaxing for all.

Remarkable spacious property featuring superb views of the San Juan Islands.
Communal living areas and decks are open and spacious. Floor-to-ceiling windows are oriented to provide beautiful views of the San Juan Islands. Bedrooms and bathrooms distributed over the three floors are numerous and comfortable, and the top floor master bedroom is spectacular. The kitchen is more than adequate with a few idiosyncrasies. The house is on the main two-lane highway route to the ferry which can be busy during arrival/departure times. The town center and services are about a mile away.
