About this cottage rental

Trust us when we say, you will surely fall in love with this quaint pastel cottage that still retains that old Florida charm.
In the slice of heaven that is Anna Maria Island, this personable resort is perfectly situated in the narrow area between Sarasota bay and the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
On your stay you can enjoy the resort’s heated pool lined with royal palms and overlooking the Bay, or take a few steps to reach the white sand beaches. There's a pier that you can fish off of or just sit on and watch the sky hues and wildlife.
Our cottage has a shaded porch and a cozy picnic area perfect for barbecues, nestled under a gazebo covered with tropical foliage.
The inside is decorated in a casual island style, with a light, open-space kitchen and living area. The Kitchen and bathroom have just been updated. The driftwood color floors have been laid throughout the cottage. In the bedroom there's a king size bed and a walk-in closet. The living area has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed.
The kitchen is well-equipped with anything you need to cook a great meal in the cottage.
You will have 2 free parking places available to you.
Beach towels and umbrellas are provided at the office and lounge chairs are on the beach for your use as a resort guest.
On the beach near the resort there are jet skis, kayaks and paddle boards available for rent.
Nearby you can find a large variety of excellent restaurants that will please everyone’s taste.
With just a fifteen minute walk or a short ride on the free trolley, you can reach Bridge Street, a charming shopping district where you can enjoy the small shops, boutiques, fresh food and mini golf. The trolley can take you up and down the island to explore different beaches, shops and restaurants.
The position on the south end of the island makes it easy to reach Longboat Key and St. Armand's Circle for out-of-the-ordinary shopping and dining. You can easily get to Sarasota to see The Ringling Museum, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, and the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. I have zero complaints about this property! Everything from communication to check in to location to cleanliness was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. I love the private fishing dock on the bay, perfect for watching a sunrise.

Great, clean and updated cottage across the street from the beach. We loved it! My husband and I stayed but there is definitely room for another guest or kiddos with the pull out couch. Appreciated the coffee and ample towels. Great communication from host. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Perfect location between bay side and steps away (across street) from beach Umbrella provided and chairs plus beach towels was great to have. Walked right into condo very clean and roomy. Had everything we needed. Great closet space. Very walkable location to restaurants and shops! Looking forward to coming back again!

Our stay at the cottage was truly delightful. The description provided was spot-on, offering an accurate portrayal of the accommodations. Every piece of information we received proved invaluable, ensuring a seamless arrival experience. If I were to offer a suggestion for improvement, it would be to consider stocking the kitchen with some basic essentials such as salt, pepper, and oil. While minor, having these items readily available would have enhanced our overall convenience and comfort during our stay. Despite this minor detail, our experience was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our time at the cottage. We look forward to the opportunity to return in the future.

We loved staying at this property! The check in was easy and friendly. There is a pool with lounge chairs and bathrooms to use (nice for the kids) and access to a peir where you can watch the sunrise or fish. The condo is a short walk from wicked Cantina and Gulf Drive restaurant which quickly became our favorites. Traffic can become congested in the area during the day but there are plenty of transportation options such as the monkey Bus, trolley and renting bikes. The condo was very clean beautifully furnished, the kitchen has a everything you need. The bedroom was big with 2 closests to use and the bed was very comfy. This was our first time coming to island and will definitely not be our last, hoping to stay at this place again in the future!

We loved our short week on Anna Maria island in this cute little cottage on the Tradewinds resort. Communication with the owner in the run up to our stay was 10/10, and she was able to answer all our questions and send through all the relevant information in good time The place was immaculately clean, and the property had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed - perhaps a small kettle could be added - and there was an additional outdoor grill as well. The resort itself had an on-site pool, but also offered free sunbeds on the beautiful beach itself - just a few minutes walk away. Our cottage also came equipped beach umbrella, which was easy to transport and setup. In terms of location, the property and resort was ideally situated for all the island has to offer. The nearest supermarket was only a 5 minutes drive, and there was a stop for the free island trolley to take you up to the north of the island just outside the resort itself. It is also only a 15 minute walk down to Bridge Street where there is a clutch of restaurants and bars Overall, would 100% recommend this property and would gladly book again

Arrived Monday afternoon, check in was smooth , unit appeared to be newly renovated, king bed, newer tile shower , kitchen new cabinets and large sink , fulling stocked dishware . The only suggestion is a need for Washer/dryer in oversized master closet. Great beach access with plenty of lounge chairs. Heated pool was great. Met owners of couple units all really friendly people . Looking to rebook for May.

We enjoyed the property, it was clean and as advertised. Owner was very flexible to our check in, check out needs. We enjoyed the ability to watch the sunrise from the bayside dock in the morning and finish of the day with sunset at the beach across the street. Many restaurants and shops in walking distance made it easy to not have to deal with traffic. Thank you, we had a wonderful time!

Nice accommodations for 2. Quaint little resort with pool. Unit was clean and everything we needed. Unit was at far end of property, away from street. Beach towels and umbrella provided. Sun chairs available at the beach. Just a short walk to the beach and to many restaurants. Accommodations made our 4-day trip easy and enjoyable. Will definitely visit again.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Tradewinds. The location is ideal with easy access to bay, pool, trolley, and beach. We ate most meals at the cottage and appreciated the kitchen. The cottage felt spacious and had plenty of room even with two children and only one bedroom. We appreciated the colorful, tropical landscape and the retro island vibes. The owner has excellent communication and the staff at Tradewinds was delightful to deal with. Sad to leave!

Very convenient to beach across the street and local restaurant. Cottage was cute and great closet space. Everything was here - including extra rolls of toilet paper and paper towels as well as a hair dryer. The kitchen is fine for light cooking and snacks but everything is here that would be needed. We had a great time and loved relaxing for the week!

This unit is cute and comfortable, and it is located in a charming complex, well decorated with local flora, and staffed by friendly, helpful people. The swimming pool overlooks the intercostal water way, which is a nice touch, and the beach is just a short walk away. I would definitely come back and stay again. The unit would be perfect if the bathroom, which is fine and functional, but old, was updated.

My best friend and I enjoyed our girls only weekend getaway. The room was well stocked and clean. Walking distance to the beach and Bridge Street shopping and restaurants. Free island shuttle was right in front of resort so we didn't even have to drive anywhere!
