This was our third time staying at this hidden gem. The house is always the perfect place for our kids and grandkids to enjoy. It's right on the sand, great bedroom setups, the kitchen has everything needed to cook if we want to, the house is great! We love that there is parking for three vehicles, and that we are close to lots of great restaurants.

This house is beautiful! We enjoyed the back deck and sandy area for our granddaughter to play in. Being steps away from the beach was amazing, as were the sunsets! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at this house for our spring break. The location is perfect with sandy beaches right in the back yard. Views were incredible from our large master bedroom. We even saw dolphins the first morning from our balcony. Close to a great brewery and many restaurants.

Check in was easy. Location and views were amazing. Second floor balcony is perfect to watch the sunset. Fireplaces in the living room and master make it so cozy. Will definitely be back!

This is our 5th year staying at this property. I can’t say enough great things about the property and location. It is close to everything you need, parking is never an issue, beach access is like no other, beds at so comfy and Mariellen is always available and so helpful. Thank you for another great year.

Wonderful!!! Fit our family perfectly. We had the area and beach almost to ourselves. The house is more than adequate with everything we needed. Beach access and the view is absolutely fabulous. We are already planning to book at this house for another week next year. This property is fabulous and I HIGHLY recommend it.

We have been taking a beach vacation every summer for the past 6 years. This house was perfect and the host has games, beach toys and pretty much everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Communication was A+. Location is right on the beach. No car needed! Walking distance to captain jacks restaurant and there’s a small neighborhood playground that’s also walking distance. Book this home for your next beach getaway and you will not be disappointed!

I was looking for a beachfront property that had plenty of space for my family and I to stay. Someplace that had everything we would need... Bikes, sand toys, well equipped kitchen, lots of seating areas, a patio to hang out on and a beach steps away. Check, check and check! This gorgeous home has a fun beach decor to get you in the mood. Sunsets so glowing it looks like something on a postcard. The owner and host Mariellen was so in touch and someone I could see being a lifelong friend! Our time there created alot of wonderful memories! Go...you'll be glad you did!

We have stayed at this property many times. The location is perfect with stores and restaurants nearby. The beach access, with no boardwalk between the house and the beach, is hard to find. Parking is easy and never a problem, even with our very large Yukon XL. I highly recommend this property and our family will continue to come back.

Words cannot convey how absolutely amazing this property is we stayed for seven nights eight days and everything was beyond perfect, locationally you're next to restaurants and bars and of course the beach is absolutely ideal. The owners were amazing to work with and the home is cared for in such a way that you feel like you're staying in a home not a rental property, it is beautiful inside and out and we will be back year over year. Thank you Mariellen for allowing us to stay in your home.

This was our second time staying at this house and it was just as good as before. Everything was clean and we had everything we could have asked for. So nice to have our own little “private” beach! We will definitely be back again!

We stayed for a week in this beautiful, spacious house. It was steps from the ocean and we loved it. Great location with lots of places to enjoy, like Disneyland and the Aquarium of the Pacific. We would love to return!

I love this property. It is so homey and warm. There is a lot to do for each age range from playing on beach to playing board games, hanging at the house. It's close to rentals also. Cute, quaint sleepy beach town.

We had a great time at this lovely beach house! The keyless check-in process was seamless. My daughter was the first one to arrive. The welcome basket was much appreciated! We had a group of 7 including me and my husband, our adult daughter and her boyfriend, our teenage daughter and her friend and our 9-year-old son. There was plenty of space for everyone. We loved sitting outside in the sun being protected from the wind by the stonewall. We used the three bicycles twice and rode to the Huntington Beach Pier. My kids took a surf lesson with Surfriders Academy. The lesson location was 3 only minutes away. We did some touristy things in Los Angeles and the commute there sometimes took 2 hours, but we were prepared for LA traffic and wanted to stay at the beach and I'm glad we did! I highly recommend this property!

This was one of my best experiences renting a home through VRBO. So much useful information was given in advance and at the property. Home was beautiful and we were welcomed with a basket of bottled water and snacks. Restaurants within walking distance, privacy and relaxing location cannot be beat. Many activities within a short drive as well. Hope to come back again soon.

This property was perfect for our stay at Sunset Beach. We loved being able to step out the back door to the beach. We loved the hum of the ocean day and night. Home was clean. There were beach towels and toys, boogie boards, corn hole and bicycles for our use. Kitchen had sufficient dishes, pots and pans etc. I didn’t see a griddle which would be a great addition. Well furnished with space to relax and for privacy. Back deck is fantastic! Our vehicle was too big (12 passenger van) for the garage which we knew when we booked. There was plenty of room to park using the street permit in front of the garage. It worked out just right. We would absolutely stay at this property again!

This home was great for our family. we had enough room for us all. I thought I wouldn't like that you couldn't see the beach from the main floor but it was actually nice to have some privacy while outside. The home came with lots of supplies. We even used the bikes she has in the garage. The path out front is great for walking and there is a small park about 5 minutes down the block. Master bedroom is huge and has an amazing view of the ocean and you can watch the sunset from bed. This is about 35 min to Disneyland which is where we headed a couple of the days. 10 min from Huntingdon Beach and 35 min from Newport Beach. We rented a duffy boat and cruised around looking at all the mansions on the canal. Overall a great place and we would stay here again.
