Good Stay Overall! But did need some items refreshed: The pillows need to be replaced and put zip covers on them. The sheets are not cotton but polyester so not very comfortable or breathable. The soap dispensers were not all replaced and there was no laundry detergent for us to use. I also recommend you bring your own bath soap, shampoo and condition as there was none. Also the large bedroom upstairs has very thin walls to the neighboring condo. So bring ear plugs!
Good points:
- location is great , close to some great restaurants. The Indian food was great and the gallery pastry shop has awesome coffee.
I think with the updates I mentioned I would be willing to stay there again.
Thank you!

This is a great house and location for our stay in Indy. We had an event at the fairgrounds, and it was easy access. There are also a nice variety of restaurants and a coffee shop close by. The house was clean and comfortable, & had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our visit to Indy to celebrate our grandson’s HS graduation. Plenty of restaurants and a Fresh Market within walking distance. There is a bus stop just outside the front door which makes transportation around the city very easy. Will stay there again!

Good stay for graduation weekend!

Kevin keeps the place in great shape. The location is perfect for heading downtown on race day or up to Connors Pub in Broad Ripple post race. Take a walk around the neighborhood to see Immaculate Heart of Mary (the House that Cripe built) and have a nightcap at the Red Key.

My husband and I traveled with our elderly parents for the Eclipse. This property was nearly perfect for us. We absolutely loved the front porch. Much of our time was spent sitting there and watching the world go by.
We would absolutely recommend this rental. Thank you so much!

We had a great time staying here for our annual Girl's Weekend. Kevin was a great host and was very responsive to our needs. The third bedroom only has a full over full bunk bed, so I was a little misguided on the description of the beds. I only think it's because VRBO doesn't have an icon for this type of bed. The beds were very comfortable!!!

My son goes to Butler great location not far from the college. The house was very clean.

This is our third time staying at this location. Close proximity to fairgrounds.
Always clean; perfect for our two families to stay in.
Expect road noise at night, especially Fri and Sat nights as College and 52nd is a busy area (nothing that you can't sleep through though).
Utilize the alley approach the driveway as parking a truck /backing a truch out onto College is somewhat difficult.

Wonderful location close too everything. Walking distance too the bike and walking path also. The place and host are 100 percent percent.

If you're looking to rent in Indianapolis, look no further!
This early 20th Century home is wrapped around a modern-day interior. You will see the level of attention the owners gave to the interior remodeling. The spacious front porch is a great place to unwind and relax after a day out. Minutes away from the fairgrounds with restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance.
We had a very enjoyable stay!

I found this property at the last minute, when my previous lodging plans fell apart. I am so glad things worked out. The posting details for this property are the real deal. Wonderful amenities, great location, and I was highly pleased with the communication prior to check-in. Super clean property and a very professional host. If ever in Indy again, I would absolutely stay here.

Great property close to the fairgrounds. Check in was a breeze. House is just as described. Perfect for our two families to live in for 3 nights. We love eating at the Half Liter on the Monon Trail, a recommendation by Kevin, each year we come and stay here. Parking can be tight with large vehicles, but doable (definitely utilize the alley and driveway for parking).

Such a fun girls’ trip! The location was great, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed walking to and walking along the Monon Trail. The fall foliage was absolutely beautiful!! An easy drive to downtown, we also enjoyed walking along the canal and Mass Ave.
The property met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. Plenty of towels and washcloths were available for our use, as well as bedding and blankets. The downstairs had plenty of room for the 5 of us to hang out and play games and catch up. The beds were comfortable. The traffic noise was loud, so you may want to consider listening to white noise at night or bring ear plugs.

Great recently updated property about a mile from Butler. College is a busy street but there are a lot of fun bars, coffee shops, and restaurants within walking distance.

Great home and location too noisy to sleep
Every thing was perfect except from 10 pm to 3 am we heard fast zooming cars loud music that kept us up all night. I would have stayed again if it was not for the street noise and traffic. It made my whole family tired for our big weekend. Disappointed

Perfect distance to the fairgrounds!
Stayed here for 3 nights while at an event in Indy. Check in process was super easy. Bedrooms slept 8 comfortably. Kitchen and laundry facilities were great. Charming older house that has been modernized with amenities. :)

Has potential, needs some attention
This property needs some ownership attention but is very nice. It is in a safe neighborhood and overall works great as a rental when visiting Indy. The trouble with my stay was the management.
When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned and the door was unlocked. Apparently there was a scheduling conflict. Things happen and I understand that. Kevin answered my phone call immediately, was very apologetic and offered to put us up in a hotel for the night. Unfortunately we had just arrived by car from Washington state and unloaded into the house. We declined that offer and washed some sheets, towels and a bathroom for ourselves to use. Housekeeping came early the next morning. Kevin followed up asking if everything was taken care of and asking what he could do to make it right. I told him that we liked the house and perhaps a credit for a night on a future stay would be nice. He said he would see what he could do before we checked out. It’s been 3 days since check out and I haven’t heard anymore about it. Furthermore, we arrived home one night to an unlocked door and evidence of maintenance having been performed in the house. There was not communication to me that the owner would need access to the house while we were there, and to top it off, the house was left unsecured with all of our belongings in it! When I brought this to Kevin’s attention, his response was simply that he did not know that his partner was to be doing maintenance.
After this, I stopped contacting him about things as he clearly had no further interest in making anything right. But Kevin, you should check the property more frequently. The upstairs bathroom sink was not draining properly, there was a enough hair to make a wig in it. The front door lock was blinking red. We have a similar model on our home and knew that meant the batteries would die soon. As we did not want to get locked out, we replaced them. (Perhaps this is why the door was left unlocked twice?) The washer advertised in this property is unusable as it vibrates so strongly it dances across the floor pulling the drain pipe away from the wall. We did not want a flood so after the first night did not use again.

Cute, Clean, Convenient
Nice, well kept bungalow, with easy driveway and street parking. Had everything we needed for 2 night stay. Close to Butler (Go Dawgs!) and BRipple. Hip coffee shop and eateries a few blocks away. My suggestion: bring your own pillows ( and 13x9 pan if you plan to bake something) . But ultimately, a Really good experience!

Nice house for a short stay
This was a nice house for our short stay. We attended a two night concert. House was not cleaned when we arrived but we called Kevin and he got someone over there ASAP and life was good.

Better than a hotel!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of room for 5 adults. Close to Butler. Home has lots of new touches that blend with the old charm. Walking distance to a lot! Only negative was the miserable weather! Would definitely stay here again.
