It‘s a perfect place for summer holidays - wonderful beach, many restaurants. If you are with the car, many places like Nice, Cannes, Saint Tropes are just 2 hours away

The location, Port de Bormes, is stunning. 10
Minutes from a gorgeous sandy beach, with great beach restaurants; the port itself has some really good restaurants within it and some amazing boats as a background drop.
However, the communication from the agent was poor, with us having to chase information about key pick up and check in times. She also initially wanted 1000 Euros as a deposit, and then dropped it to 500 when we challenged her.
The apartment was not numbered on the outside and difficult to find and very dated .
The instructions had been to pay the deposit by cheque, but obviously they wouldn’t accept an English cheque, and we didn’t have the cash with us. We would have been very dubious handing to a 3rd party anyway, as the agent sent the cleaner to let us in.
The apartment is not a 2 bed apartment at all: it is really 1 bed, separated by boarding with a narrow bunk bed added.No window. Fairly claustrophobic.
The toilet seat was broken, and the shower curtain was filthy and unhygienic. You have to stand in the bath tub to shower, which is not a problem, but the bath is so thin, it flexes even under slight weight of a child.
We paid 75 Euros to have this tiny apartment cleaned after we left, and hadn’t even landed back in the UK when we received abusive texts from the agent about leaving a mess and not cleaning up. We did not leave a mess, but did expect the fridge and rubbish to be emptied as part of this fee.

Appartement très bien situé dans le port de la Faviere. A proximité de la plage.
Petit désagrément avec la panne soudaine de la chaudière mais la réactivité du propriétaire nous a fait oublié ce moment.
Appartement équipé de la climatisation ce qui est un plus vu le superbe temps que nous avons eu.

Réalité bien différente de la carte postale.
Tout sauf calme. La décoration, une belle vue et la propreté de l'appartement ne suffisent pas .
Climatisation bruyante, comme l'environnement, bien que nous étions en pré saison..
La chaleur émise par le restaurant situé directement sous l'appartement.
Une belle piscine ou tout ou presque est interdit avec des horaires d'ouverture incompréhensibles (10h 17h!)
.Une place de parking à 200m de l'appartement et un accès difficile.
Une plage où les douches ne fonctionnent que 4h par jour...
Impossible pour nous de trouver le repos et nous avons écourté notre séjour abandonnant le montant de notre location.
Nous avons informé le propriétaire des difficultés rencontrées et regrettons qu'il nous ai dit avant la réservation que l'appartement était calme.
Au final c'était pour nous plus l'enfer que le paradis.

Appartement bien situé, propre, bien agencé et très lumineux. La climatisation a été très utile. Jolie vue sur la marina en prenant nos repas sur le balcon. Un parasol moins large serait utile.
Un bon contact avec LOIC et sa compagne à notre arrivée et à l'état des lieux de sortie.
Virginie, la responsable, avait oublié ma RESERVATION de draps et de serviettes. Elle est très occupée c'est sûr et pas très aimable c'est sûr aussi.

* Owner allowed us an early check-in, which we appreciated!

* Concierge arrived 1h30m too late for check-in. The owner allowed us a check-in at 13:30, we had to contact the concierge a half hour before arrival, so we contacted her a 1pm. She didn't show up till 3 pm and was difficult to reach. We called her a few times and all she said was she was on her way. Apparantly there was some mix-up with another family that didn't show up in time I guess...
* Upon arriving in the apartment, we didn't get any information, nog about the apartment, nog about the town nor region.
* We paid the concierge a fee for wifi, a caution and an extra cleaning caution and then she left.
* The appartement was not very clean, I vacuumed the place cause there was visibly dirt on the floor. The caution for cleaning means that the person who rents the apartment has to clean the place before leaving, then you the caution back. This system obviously doen't work well, especially with corona! Nothing is sanitized. I would suggest having a professional clean the place and I wouldn't mind paying a fee for it.
* There was a problem with the livebox and we didn't have wifi, although we paid extra for it. The concierge couldn't help is. The owner tried to help and gave us a wifi code of the port after three days. We did't have connection in the apartment though, only outside around the port...
*Upon leaving the concierge, who arrived on time this time, checked the apartment, said everything was fine, gave us back our caution and told us goodbye. We asked for the extra cleaning caution and wifi reimbursement and she said "I don't have the cleaning caution and wifi isn't up to me". She told us to write down our bank account number and we would get the cleaning caution and wifi fee back later. It all sounded shady, we paid everything to her in cash upon arrival, I don't know what she did with our money... We told her we wanted the caution fee back in cash before we left... she then told us out and to wait by our car outside, after 20 minutes she came back and reimbursed our caution in cash. We never received our wifi fee back...
The experience left us feeling disappointed. The owner was friendly on the phone, but since he's not there, you have to arrange everything with the concierge, who is not available and not trustworthy.
Cleaning and sanitizing should be done by a pro, not coronaproof now!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in super Lage
Die Wohnung ist super durchdacht und ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gab einen Babybett und Kinderhochstuhl. Unsere kleine Tochter hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist optimal. Kurze Wege zum Strand und auch zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Restaurant liegt praktisch eine Etage drunter.

Propriété conforme à l'annonce mais il est très dommage qu'il ne soit pas précisé que la piscine n'ouvre qu'en juin habituellement comme me l'a bien indiqué le gardien de la résidence et non pas en fonction des conditions météo comme me l'a affirmé le propriétaire.

The reception from the patron was very amicable. The apartment was lovely and clean, very well equipped. Close to all amenities, and easily accessible to other towns, Great views. Just one problem...…..the internet connection was weak, [and in the winter when there is not much to do in the evening this was a bit of a bugbear.]

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La dame qui nous a accueillie était très gentille et prévenante. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins avec les locataires pour vous faire profiter au mieux du séjour. Ils sont humains et protecteurs.
L’appartement est très bien situé, au port , proches de toutes commodités, commerces, plages magnifiques à 2 pas, marché , et Lavandou à 20 minutes à pieds, la piscine est agréable et franck de la piscine nous accueille à bras ouverts.
L’agencement de l’appartement est parfait pour un couple avec bébé ou 2 enfants, grâce aux lits gigognes et lit parapluie à disposition. Nombreux rangements sont parfaits pour profiter de l’espace de l’appartement. La climatisation est un plus non négligeable qui ravie la famille. La salle de bain est bien agencée, la cuisine est moderne et le lave vaisselle fait le travaille à notre place.
Tout est fait pour passer d’excellentes vacances.
L’appartement entièrement rénové et décoré avec goût juste avant notre arrivée, ce qui montre que les propriétaires sont des personnes qui se soucient de leur locataires.
En conclusion, bébé de 18 mois , Lilly cavalier king Charles et nous, avons passé d’agréables vacances.
