The house worked perfectly for our long weekend family visit. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was comfortable and attractive. It was blazing’ hot in July and the a/c worked great. It was a very short walk to Belmont dining and shopping which is just great. I enjoyed morning walks to Belle for coffee and there were just too many restaurants with too little time! The neighborhood is in transition. Only suggestion I have would be to install a garbage disposal. Overall, we were very happy and recommend.

Beautifully renovated house in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice place overall. Close to town and convenient for a wedding weekend visit.
Light on cooking gear. Could use a deep cleaning, especially oven.
4.7
Comfortable seating for the entire group of five adults on the first floor. Cool wall art and lovely fixtures. Open floor plan made it great for a group that wanted to be together.
One bedroom was very small, but the other two were a good size. Comfortable mattresses and bedding. Plenty of towels. Downside is that the bathrooms did not have locks.
I’d describe the street as transitional. House across the street was questionable. However, easy walk to the Belmont neighborhood with lots of cute restaurants with delicious food. Doable walk to the Charlottesville mall.
Could use a few more glasses/mugs. Great visit overall.

Exactly what we needed for a fun weekend getaway! Will be staying here again.

I visited for the weekend with my two teenage daughters. We had a great time, and this home helped.
Pluses:
—Overall nicely renovated and modernized home.
—Great restaurants (Tavola, Mockingbird, The Local, Conmole) and coffee shop (Belle) two blocks away. —The full bath is very nice with a large shower.
—Wegmans just a few minutes drive.
—Off street parking for two cars (street parking around there can be challenging)
Minuses:
—Kitchen could be more stocked. No large frying pan. There were only three of us but three water glasses seemed light.
—House is drafty, which was noticeable for us because temps were in the 30s outside most of the weekend. The house was able to maintain 72 degrees in most places but the furnace had to work pretty hard and this made it feel very dry inside.
—WiFi wasn’t working (no big deal for us).
—Couple of the houses across the street are a bit sketchy looking with broken down cars in front and people coming in and out late at night etc. but we didn’t experience any problems.

House was great. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Great location.

Seamless checking as if we lived there always but secure. Great layout downstairs and the 2 bedrooms that I thought looked smalll compared to primary/master were actually much bigger. There was a little old house dirt just like my own so felt at home without the guilt of thinking I needed to clean. Only issue was master bedroom door handle came off 1st night and i was locked out of bedroom. My partner didn’t hear me knock.. anyway got a liitle tense given that I was already a little nervous since we weee there for my daughters wedding and had a few things on my mind:). But overall great and you can eat Lampo pizza til 12 am. And we did 2 of our 4 nights

The location was great - we walked to our event in downtown mall, and to end of block to get coffee and breakfast.
Common area was perfect for family to hang out and play games.
Third “bedroom” was incredibly small - not even a closet.
While the home in general was clean, the kitchen items (plates, utensils, pots and pans) were not. We had to wash everything we used.
4.7
The house was very charming and was located very close to downtown, which was very convenient.
4.7
Check-in process was flawless, and no amenity was missing. Very much appreciate the hospitality.
4.7
Great place for small groups to stay in the middle of town. Easy host communication, parking, and good WiFi in home. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time—short walk to downtown although it was pretty chilly so we hopped in an Uber a few times! House was spacious and clean! Kitchen was well equipped - could use a few more glasses. Beds were comfy and the bathroom/shower was nice. Definitely would recommend! .

Short Family Stay
A well appointed and well stocked property that is conveniently located.

The renovations were lovely especially the kitchen. Advertised as a three bedroom but one room was exceptionally small…only room for a bed and nightstand. The shower, though lovely, was overrun with mildew. The toilet downstairs was not stable and rocked sideways. The home needed to be dusted!!! The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt comfortable there. The back porch is in serious need of TLC. The windows were very dirty. Just a little more attention to cleanliness would make this property outstanding.

it was interesting sitting on the front porch trying to figure out what was going on across the side street. your team was great I had a little trouble getting in the lockbox and working the tv. it was on the wrong source.

Overall the house was fantastic.
Overall the house was fantastic. I do want to mention, however, that there appeared to be some drug activity at a house across the street from the driveway on Goodman Street. We felt safe in the house but nervous when outside sitting out on the patio. Very good.

This house was the perfect location for my friend’s bachelorette party! The check in process was a breeze and the place was so cute - such a great mix of artsy modern and rustic. The beds and couch were all very comfy, and we loved how quiet the street was given how close it is to the downtown mall. The entire group agreed we would all definitely want to stay here again!

The house was perfect for a small bachelorette weekend and winery tour. The house was very clean and the kitchen is absolutely beautiful. The porch is more outdated then the pictures, there was a lopsided dresser in one of the rooms, the downstairs bathroom door didn’t close and my only real annoyance was that none of the fans worked. Also, something to note is the blue house across the street is a little uncomfortable. There are people sitting outside all day and night with constant activity and cars coming and going blaring music.
Overall, these are small complaints. It was a really nice weekend in Charlottesville!

We had a wonderful time and appreciated being able to use this property. Great gathering space downstairs and very nice updated bathroom upstairs. It really had a nice atmosphere overall. Minor suggestions - Darker curtains in bedroom by bathroom and check toilet downstairs (it was not very sturdy/stable). Hoping to make the next guests' stay even better. We had a nice time. Thank you!

Artistic, Inspired Retreat
We loved staying at this property. It is decorated with lovely art and funky pieces that were fun to be surrounded with. The management company was super helpful when the wifi didn't initially work and got us a quick resolution even though it was late on a Friday night. The house is super clean and great location to walk to the downtown mall.

Excellent walkability to downtown all area. I asked a question about the pack & play available to rent. I received a prompt and concise response.

Our family of five stayed in this lovely, well renovated home over the Thanksgiving holiday. The weather was much colder than we anticipated so we didn’t walk far; however, the home is easily walkable to the downtown mall. We did walk to Quality Pie for breakfast a couple mornings and highly recommend! We ordered a prepared dinner from Wegmans for Thanksgiving and the kitchen provided what we needed to eat comfortably.
Since it is an older home it was a little chilly so I’d recommend bringing extra blankets during the winter months. Also, one of the bedrooms is small and without a closet so be prepared to use it just for sleeping.
We enjoyed our stay at the Corner House!

Cute home in a great location
We got off to a little rough start because the wifi, tv, and one nest was not working. We notified the Prop Mgr and they promptly came out the next day to address the problems. There was a fried transformer that affected a lot of things which was promptly resolved. We had a great time visiting wineries, breweries, and the football game. Loved the kitchen! We did do a lot of food prep and had to use the kitchen table since the counter space is limited but everything worked out fine. If you must watch tv and want a variety you will need to have a streaming service. There are tv channels but not a lot. We loved this place and definitely would rent it again.

Very walkable to downtown mall, beautifully renovated home.
Very walkable to downtown mall, beautifully renovated home. Only complaint was it had a bit of a musty, former smoker smell to it which did not air out by opening the windows. Very comfortable beds. N/A
