Nice location in Merimbula.
Nice location in Merimbula.
The property was quite spacious (especially as there were but two of us). The house had equipment aplenty. No problems preparing our meals. Easy walking distance into town and restaurants (mostly around Market St.) Whilst quite clearly suitable for visitors with dogs, the facilities are just fine for those without, and would be good for couples with toddlers. Unfortunately, the cleaners need to get a bit efficient. During our stay, great tufts of dog hair blew out from under chairs. The shower recesses were poorly tended to, scum on shower glass walls, much mould around the edges - unpleasant - dose of Domestos and a bit of elbow grease is necessary. Some pot and pans were still quite dirty from previous use. Whilst partially understandable, the absence of things like bathmats and hand towels ( I know, it says bring your own linen) is a bit stingy. Main bed is firm and quite creaky, waking my partner almost every time I slightly shifted my carcass for a bit more comfort. Apart from that, staying in Merimbula is just lovely.

overall great house
overall great house
The house was a great layout, lots of eating areas BBQ etc., as well as being well stocked with plates cutlery etc, which was really nice. However, the cleaning left a lot to be desired, in fact I don't think it was cleaned after the previous people.
