Because we are concerned for everyone’s health and safety, we are taking extra measures in cleaning of the rental. The home is professionally cleaned by an expert in the field. All surfaces are disinfected, including but not limited to, light switches, doorknobs, cabinet knobs, remotes, and any surfaces that hands may touch. We also add a little bleach to all sheets, pillow cases and bath linens during wash. If you have any questions, concerns or comments please feel free to contact us!

Property Description:

This Beautiful Pet Friendly home is located on the beach side of A1A with a short trail and neighborhood walk to a pristine white sandy beach. It has 1800 sf living space with one King size bed, one Queen, two Trundle twin beds and two comfortable pull out couches in the living room, each with a queen size mattress. Fully stocked kitchen, three TV's with hundreds of cable channels, Hi speed internet and wifi, double car garage, fully fenced in back yard with grass area for your furry friends and a covered patio area equipped with gas grill, patio table and chairs. Also we have bicycles, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, an umbrella and a beach cart for easy transport.

*NOTE* The pet fee is $125 for your entire stay. Maximum of two dogs per stay. WHEN BOOKING YOUR RESERVATION, PLEASE CHECK THE “YES” BOX FOR PETS (if you’re bringing pets) and the fee will automatically be added to your total.

The Saint Augustine Historic District is about 8 miles away with lots of restaurants from eclectic to fine dining and interesting shops galore. There are some great restaurants close by as well, such as, The South Beach Grill, Red Frog & Mc Toads, Viola's, Mango Mangos, The Salt Life, Panama Hatties, The Purple Olive, Safe Harbor Seafood, The Beachside Diner, The Taco Shop and Coneheads for some delicious ice cream. While you're here, you have to check out the St Augustine Lighthouse, Alligator Farm, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Marine Land, Castillo de San Marcos, Saint Augustine Amphitheater, Epic Theater (if you're wanting to see a movie on the big screen), The Farmers Market and especially the famous Hyppo Café, where you can choose from a huge selection of gourmet popsicles.

For those who are interested in recreation, we have world class golfing for the big kids and miniature golf for the big and little kids. There's also great fishing, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding (and lots of places where you can take lessons for both), bicycling, running and bowling. There are a number of places where you can rent kayaks, surfboards, stand-up paddle boards, jet skis, Segways and scooters. Treaty Park is a 15-20 minute drive (depending on traffic) is open to everyone and has a lot to offer. Tennis courts, Pickle Ball courts, Basketball courts, Baseball and Soccer Fields, Kids playground, Dog park, trails for walking, running and bike riding and a good sized skate board park.

We loved staying in this property to celebrate a kiddos graduation. We were able to bring our fur babies too. The backyard was fantastic for all of us to hang out . The beach was a close, safe walk. We were close to grocery stores and great restaurants. The house was well stocked with things to do both outside and inside. We couldn’t have asked for better.

Owner is excellent to work with! The short walk to the beach makes staying on the A1A worthwhile. You avoid all the traffic and have private beach access. Even though Butler Beach is open to the public, it's not crowded. You really can't ask for a better place for your family to stay. The house has all the amenities of your own home. I had groceries delivered from Aldi (used Instacart) the morning after we arrived and saved a lot of money as opposed to eating out multiple meals per day with our family of 6. Thank you Brian and Kelly for providing fun dining options on the evenings we wanted to eat out! We hope to be back for our 3rd stay with you soon!

We had such a great time at Goin’ Coastal! The house is adorable and had everything we needed and more. Loved the space! Tons of room for our family of four! Also loved the back covered patio. It had the nicest breeze so it was perfect to hang out and read or chat. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. The pooches loved being able to join us on vacation and have some fun with the sand and water! The owners thought of everything! I really didn’t need to bring half of the stuff I stressed about fitting in the car because they have it all there! Bikes, boogie boards, beach towels, a wagon, chairs! Thanks again! We will find a weekend to visit next year! :)

This was exactly what we needed for a low-key, relaxing bachelorette weekend! Close to everything, but far away enough to feel relaxed and out of the touristy downtown area. The walk to the beach is short and tranquil. The house was clean and ready for us, and the hosts were amazingly communicative, even giving recommendations for food! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This place is amazing. The beach just a short walk away is absolutely beautiful. The property had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The host communicated with me before our stay to make sure that we knew she was available if we had any questions or concerns, which we did not. we are already planning to stay here next year.

This home was perfect for my family of two grandparents, two small children under 5, and my husband and I. Had everything you could need in the kitchen and even supplied some beach equipment. Could walk to the beach through the gate in the back and the backyard is also very cozy.

The place was immaculate, but for the first twelve hours there we dealt with an overwhelming and very irritating odor from the cleaning chemicals. It's only a short walk to a beautiful beach, but the house is right on A1A. The busy highway is no more than 50 feet away. Watch your children and pets carefully. Plus, the traffic noise is constant. The house is attractively decorated, but for us the sleeper sofas were very uncomfortable to sit on. If you read or stitch, the lighting is very poor. The sofas were also a long way from the TV. The hosts were very pleasant, friendly, and easy to work with. However, we had to call them because the thermostat was locked and the house was too cold for us. It was chilly and raining outside. The host changed the thermostat for us, but it's the first VRBO we've stayed in where we couldn't adjust the thermostat. The back yard is lovely, with a very nice covered seating area but it is small and almost all pavers. There is a small grassy area for your dog to go potty. One last thing, the corners on one of the area rugs are turning up. This is a real tripping hazard. The worst corner was right in front of the master bedroom door. We rotated the rug to put the worst corner in a different place. All in all, we enjoyed our time there, but these little things detracted from the pleasure of our visit.

We loved our stay here. The house was clean and had all the beach supplies we needed. The beach is a short 4-5 minute walk and we loved being able to bring our dog along! We would definitely stay at this property again!

This was our fourteenth year coming to St. Augustine for vacation. The house was great and well appointed. It had all we could have needed including beach chairs and towels, bikes, kitchen amenities, great appliances for family meals and even tools to make the stay easier for my mobility- challenged mother. The owner was helpful and even gave us great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at Goin Coastal. The house was clean and ready for our family stay. We were a group of 10 people and 3 pets and had all we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. People and pets had a blast. Everyone had a comfortable bed, which was very important to me. Enough linens and blankets and beach towels were provided. Kelly was awesome and very prompt to answer our concerns and requests. I would highly recommend this place. We were closer then it we had been on a hotel because we were all in the same place.

We had another great stay at Going Coastal. This was our second time staying and we hope to stay again in the future. The hosts are wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The property is great. plenty of room. A quick walk to the beach. Having a garage for parking is a huge plus. The back courtyard is fantastic for enjoying the cooler nights. My boys had almost as much fun catching the lizards and tree frogs that came out after evening showers as they did on the beach! We had a blast making memories! We hope to return next year! I already can't wait!!

The location is great, we were just a very short walk to the beach and a short drive to Downtown St Augustine. The hosts were so nice and very responsive and easy to reach. We were only there for the weekend, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The house was great! It had eberything we needed to enjoy our short trip. The location was close to the beach and several shops and restaurants. I definitely recommend thia home!

Goin Coastal is a quaint and cozy cottage. The house is well appointed and well stocked with day to day supplies. The beds are comfortable, the furniture is functional with plenty of storage space. Bathrooms are fantastic. The fenced backyard and patio provides access to a path leading to a neighborhood street which takes one straight to the beach boardwalk! It is an easy 7 minute stroll to beautiful Butler Beach! The host was very helpful with recommendations. We look forward to a return visit!
